  1. no i mean we would que as friends against random teams. we were only 4 people in total, !!! we didnt worry if we lost because it had no negative impact on us. worst case we wasted few min then went back to running heroics and could reque and try again. out of the 4 of us, one person wanted to get into ranked [and had won 2 group ranked matches overall with a guild group before being told they were not good enough to keep running with the guild, [they had died first in both match] so this was a way to play without worry its only win trading if you intent to fix outcome of game, , we were group of friends who did heroics while we waited for que to pop, we played against random groups., sometimes we did really well (like time we got matched multiple times with an all sorc dps group and kept winning , others not so much. usually we won a round but lost other 2 or lost our first round, changed our tactics and won second and third off season was the only time casual players joined the grouped ranked que, i think most had another group lined up to go against, but we did not . we just relied on fact that there were people in the que which gave us better shot. The fact that we had a chance to actually win against a team meant we could for once get the rewards that ranked players could so it was worth doing. now that 4v4 is going to be option, we are hoping to do more group pvp with our friend group/. we got fed up with having bad talk in pvp so after a bit we did legacy ignore, but that did not stop them being in que against us in pvp.
  2. im just going to put my 2 pence here I used to play group ranked in between seasons with a group of friends, we had a lot of fun because people who played in between seasons were often not hardcore players. the (the rpm ) rewards were good and our main incentive to play . we were not the best team and we had about 60% win rate on a good day but we had a lot of fun. we didnt have to worry about loosing causing us to drop ranks as it was off season then a group of actual ranked pvp players started queing when they realised a bunch of causual players were doing it. We got slaughtered and the comments thrown at us made us stop doing it, it was not fun anymore. even players on ignore list still would pop in the pvp que (i think due to lack of people in que) so we could not avoid them ranked PvP players were toxic, we had fun playing 4x4 when we had chance to win, or when it was just for fun. when it became full toxic rude comments on how we all were so poop that we should quit game and never come back, it was just not fun anymore
  3. well soon to be 312, 318, 320, 322, 324, 326, 328. 330, 332, 334, 336, 338 to 340 as they raising the base ceiling to 322 but i agree its insane, and i thought the grind in 6.0 to 306 was hard enough but it worked and i liked the system better than what we have now

Currently my chars are using 330 mods in 6.0 Augmented "The victor set" and i will continue to use this set for them as it has my augments a i see no reason to change it, Id advise you to keep your augments in legacy gear so you dont loose on deconstruction its prob not worth augmenting gear while you are levelling up anyway
  5. My launcher is just a white box cant repair or anything something went wrong when i tried logging in spinning wheel lasted ages then when it crashed and i tried to relaunch it just a white box. In the game folder a update.exe file showed up but then said failed to update host when i tried running it i cant do fresh install as it says host window load timeout when i try to open the new install file. or it launches as a blank white box that i cant do anything with i have resorted to going via steam as i been struggling since last week, but i rather get main launcher working and not use steam
  6. honestly they could have them in que as reduced rewards and not have it be same as main que. no need to fully Yeet them out of GF "Play your way" really means play a extremely limited version of game and be happy we allow you to do that even
  7. Flashpoints have been a huge part of how i learned my class as a new player, running multiple in a row to level up and get to try new skills. Limiting this to high level players defeats the purpose of them. I used to love queuing and having no idea what flashpoint i would get (and using some tricks to ensure i would not get the long hard ones ie not taking 75 only groups to force lower level content) Content should not just be endgame, but for all players, old and new alike. I used to enjoy running flashpoints, even if we did get hammer station more than we wanted. The new ones are not fun. Knowing what ones you will get and knowing the ones we enjoy are not there, really sadden me. I went through a phase where i spent a week only doing Drive yards for the rep and still able to group in the finder. Those days are gone
  8. They could easily give a 1 day sub code for people who sub to game lets say a week or so before the delay announced. i know they have done 1 day sub extension for those affected by server and launcher issues in past

I think its because they are removing D v Light and making it harder to gain dark or light points outside story or diplomacy, so this feels like a compromise they decided was fair. but i agree its bit crap . but i think its because if you dont already have unlocked Dv/Lv when you come to making that combat choice for second you will only have your faction there. in past it was easy to spam light or dark points in flashpoints and star fighter etc but now that we will no longer be able to do that, and they are admitting that in a way
  10. if the new changes make playing the game the way i want that much harder to point i cant keep up with game and daily life. I will also cancel my sub. Currently i dont play each day and sometime only 1 or 2 days a week i will be online. but i like how i have been able to do missions at my own pace. with changes to weekly i feel like the way i play is going to have to dramatically alter. I really disliked the forced daily in galactic season and annoyed that game is shifting to grind grind grind, NOT PLAY YOUR WAY AT ALL
  11. One way they could force a max price would be limiting amount of credits subs can have in inventory at one time, lets say 1 Billion is the inventory cap. The price of Hyper-crate can no longer go past this, it would not stop people having **** tons of credits but it would to an extent push prices down. If you can only sell something fro 1billion max people will slowly undercut the prices and eventually things will start to fall , maybe not a lot but a bit. but i dont think Bioware would ever do that
