  1. Concealment: Debilitate should be baseline as it's the Operative's only way, at least for the discipline I chose, to stun their enemies. Most people are obviously going to choose it over the other options because without it the crowd control element of the game diminishes, and you're left being incredibly vulnerable. Also, I'm not sure if I like Overload Shot being removed as I used the ability in my rotation while waiting for Veiled Strike to get off cooldown if I had any energy remaining, so I could use a Tactical Advantage on Laceration after using it. Since I'm not a healer, I decided to read through others' feedback and it appears Overload Shot was their primary DPS ability to use, and now they're stuck with a filler ability that doesn't do squat. As a side note, why did you guys rush this one out so fast that not even a dropdown option was made to access the mounts panel? Now I can't test out the Level 3 Riding Skill you gave us, let alone riding any mount to begin with, to travel faster for testing the class. I just see it as a massive inconvenience that could've been prevented if this stage of the PTS was released a little later.
  2. TTK and CC seem to be a major issue in SWTOR because it's all I ever hear about PvP. As much as I don't like to see them remove abilities, I think it'll be beneficial in the long run. Only time will tell, I guess...
  3. I don't see how you can disagree with this post unless you fabricate some fake excuse. Dyne has a clear understanding of SWTOR's fundamentals but most importantly games in general. When you start dumbing down the gameplay, the line between low-level and high-level gets very blurry. The complexity and choice of abilities is one reason why I love this game because it caters to every possible type of MMO gamer: the casual, mid, and hardcore. Once you prune abilities, the hardcore is forced to lower their standards to less skilled players for no apparent reason. If they enjoy playing the game that way, why should they be punished? It's important to understand this concept OP and BioWare before making rational decisions that can lead to losing the game, community, and stories that were built over a decade of hard work unnecessarily.
  4. Can somebody explain how removing utilities equals greater choice? Is this about the "choosing between A and B abilities"? Because that's so unnecessary, PVP and endgame players currently have the choice to use whatever they want, it's not like we're forced to have them all on our hotbar. Is there an ability that you never use? Remove it. It's that simple. I would rather have a rework of the utilities and abilities we have on Live at this point. Bad idea. Breakers and interrupts are independent for a reason. Players want to have the choice in interrupting/breaking out of specific abilities instead of an RNG system that is unpredictable or merging with rotational abilities. Again, how does this emphasise player choice when it's doing the exact opposite? My opinion on this whole system is if you're going through with it, at least take these points into consideration: Choosing any two(?) abilities that are available from a list as we level up instead of being forced to choose between two pre-set ones. I believe it will alleviate the issue of having to decide between two important abilities. Scrap the idea of choosing between passives and abilities because very few people have ever been a fan of that idea. Perhaps make it so players choose separately? Keep breakers and interrupts independent if you want maximum flexibility. Don't strip tanks of too many DCDs as they rely on survivability. Don't fix PVP at the cost of PVE. This will give players greater choice than BW limiting our playstyles to how they see fit, not us.
  5. Please add a way to automatically sign into my SWTOR account. It's annoying having to type in my password and security key every time I want to launch the game when other MMOs can do this.
  6. I just wanted to say thank you for responding. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about the future of this game as a lot of players seem to be unhappy about the changes. Something I suggest is merging abilities and not oversimplify the classes because of new players. I get that it can be demoralising, but perhaps making abilities optional in a way that they can enjoy the class story without having to use many abilities like it is now, which is why I'm a little confused why you guys are going ahead with it unless BioWare knows something we don't. That's why I'm not a fan of this PTS: everything feels rushed!
  7. Keep in mind that my answers may not be as accurate as others who have submitted feedback due to my lack of experience playing as a Jedi Guardian, but I have tried my best to give an honest opinion after doing some dailies on Onderon. Does this feel like a Jedi Guardian? Please explain why or why not. From what I have seen after playing a Vigilance (A) Jedi Guardian on the PTS, it feels fine and I like the more streamlined rotation. It's important that you adjust future content to the pruning because players will die more and deal less damage without the additional defensive and offensive cooldowns to assist them. Is there anything that feels missing or out of place in the combat rotation? Definitely. We need a way to interrupt and break out of CC because playing MMOs without doing so is almost impossible. What are your initial thoughts with the effectiveness of the Jedi Guardian against enemies? They seem to deal a decent amount of damage and so far I have no problem killing enemies. The variety of AOE you get is nice and there isn't much bloat for my rotation, unlike Live. How are you enjoying or not enjoying this class? I enjoyed playing a Sentinel on Live and they are similar in rotation, so yes I've been having fun trying out the new Jedi Guardian. Personally, fewer utilities and similar abilities are a good thing because I never had a reason to use them most of the time, but it would be nice to have a DCD that had a shorter cooldown than Saber Ward to bridge the gap while waiting for the 3-minute cooldown.
