  1. True... I was addressing only one part. I'm sure there's something going on - I have not yet seen it (valor 56), but I've seen vids of it happening.
  2. You forgot QQ more. Seriously, there are some bugs with the game that allow SOME of what you described, but the force field thing - remember to check the one furthest away from the entrance to the door... I stealth to that one EVERY time and generally can get it down without any resistance only because it takes peeps too long to get to me before I can open it. Sometimes I can get the bomb on the left door just after because nobody is paying any attention... I imagine it's quite a surprise! BUT... not using any hacks - only my abilities (stealth & force run) to do it.
  3. Here are some facts that I've seen... I've been out there every day since it was implemented (just over 8 consecutive days now): Two crates spawn at a time. There are ALWAYS at least two spawned at a time so long as the last spawns (i.e. "used" crates) have de-spawned. They spawn in the CENTRAL zone only. They spawn around the innermost OUTER ring of the central zone. They spawn in the trench of the Central zone as well. You can collect them even if you don't have the daily or weekly missions (although there is no reason to).
  4. Honestly, your reasoning is why bugs exist in the first place. You're not thinking the whole thing through, only your perceived idea of what the initial problem is in the first place. You can't willy-nilly change values or change foreign keys to point to a different record. That record is obviously time-based which means they have historical data to consider as well. This may be a SQL fix, but without doing testing - which takes TIME and RESOURCES which equates to MONEY and SCHEDULING which translates into PRIORITIZATION and ALLOCATION of said RESOURCES that may be busy on other bugs that had a HIGHER PRIORITY (consider exploits much?) - you can't really suggest your simple fix is all it takes - especially when you probably have no idea what their data model even looks like.
  5. What? Your lack of seeing the obvious baffles me. THEY HAVE SAID THEY WILL FIX IT WITH 1.1.1. Let me repeat THEY HAVE SAID THEY WILL FIX IT IN 1.1.1. Tell me... how does that translate into "neither bio or their customer base seem to have a clue when they are going to fix it"...
  6. Obi & Faure... having a great time as an imp, in this game, I can imagine it sucks on the reb side tho... everytime I go on my pub toon there's literally nobody online. It's horrid. But... impies are fun!
  7. Oh, no, don't twist my comment into something it's not. It's an issue -a big one. But when Dominoes Pizza tells you, "Hey, we promise to deliver the pizza in 30 minutes or less" and you start complaining that the pizza isn't here yet as soon as you place the order and hang up the phone, how realistic are you being?
  8. Are you guys just all whacked out of your mind?!? The patch for this problem is COMING. It's not supposed to be in place until 1.1.1 has been implemented. 1.1.0d was implemented last night. It was never announced it would be a part of 1.1.0d - EVAH!
  9. The ironic thing about your post is that you too have corrections that need to be made. In fact, more than one is needed.
  10. I don't need a warzone to make me wanna do that.
  11. I have to agree... I'm an inquisitor and I too struggle with the damage output, but never get owned by a lower level. The other aspect is that you will get owned by others your same level. You too can own those same peeps if you play against them correctly. Inquisitor is NOT BUTTON MASH or FACE ROLL or any other thing you do when you aren't looking for procs, using your damage bursts correctly, etc. I'm 50, I'm still learning and some times my damage just BLOWS... but my guildie, who is the same class and the same setup is doing 4x as much damage... because he knows how to get the most out of the class. Therefore... a friendly "L2P" to the OP. I have to L2P too... but it's something that needs to be done with this class... you want button mash? Try maybe trooper.
  12. That mount was from Beta... but, as I found out just the other day, was removed from the game for some reason - probably because it was a "free-ride" and could be used just like a regular speeder. Something low-level characters don't have. When you got off of it the speeder would disappear so it was single use only. The image was taken on Ord Mantell and found near one of the second area (Fort Garnik) starter quests for a republic trooper. Possibly "Scavenger Hunt", but I don't remember. EDIT: Nope, the quest was called "Stop The Raiders". It's the small Northeast island found on this map: http://www.torhead.com/mission/5OfG6qa/stop-the-raiders
  13. Actually... no... this patch is dumb. And I'm not even a 'pub.
  14. Haha... are you trying to be funny and cute? L2P? Are you serious? I'M IMPERIAL *******... I'm not trying to whine about getting farmed... L2R... and if you like this patch, you SERIOUSLY need to L2P... not me.
  15. I'm a imperial player, but as much as I hate to say it and for as much as I love PvP... Close Ilum until you get the problems fixed there. I like easy Valor as much as the next guy, but this patch has made it ridiculous! Some servers are good (low pvp populations), but others are horrid and is causing MAJOR imbalance in the game. The only solution at this point is to just close it. Shut the servers down and close Ilum for now. Hopefully that is something you can do.
  16. Ok, I know I'll tire of it soon, but for now I really LOVE Huttball... the reason for it is because it's almost like an easy win - depending who's on your team of course. Losing at Huttball really sucks tho. I can see a filter coming, but that will KILL any chance at playing Huttball (for anybody) so I'm guessing new warzones are the priority over a filter system.
  17. DFR is Republic?!!? OMG!!!! Does Temper know? lol... jk!
  18. 90% of the people saying that - who are inquisitors - are telling you to l2p because that same 90% gets owned by some other class in some other way. I'm a SI-A and I have trouble with snipers and BH's all the time... other classes, not so much, but I would guess those two classes have their own troubles - SI's are probably included in those, but so is some other class. To be honest, the "balance" appears to be quite good. I can't see something that needs to get nerfed just yet and I'm not owning by any means... I have one of the lower damages in WZ's too. But... I tend to not fight as much as I "play" the game I'm doing (i.e. Huttball - position, pass and score - fighting only happens on the opposing team's ball carrier and ONLY if they're near me).

    Too much CC

CC is fine. Those of you saying it's too much or it's out of line or it's excessive need to give it time. Being cc'd is no fun, but you need to understand if you can do it, others should be able to as well. No CC means very little strategy so you can't get rid of it... are you serious? Can you imagine hutt ball without CC or knockbacks or??? If you get CC'd then that sucks, but it's part of the sub-game and in my opinion, has been done very well at this point. I'm only a L18 Valor, but I'm OK with CC in this game. In WoW, I didn't have a way to break it (feral druid) and it was frustrating as all get out, but here you can break it - once every so often. I love how well it's been done.
  20. Not having server forums is detrimental to the community. You can't build a community without a common way for people to interact. The "mass forum" idea is pointless mostly because you can't coordinate with each other very well... you can't say, "Meet you in game" or "Need help with X" without each of you rolling a character on each other's server... we know that's not feasible. Server forums are NEEDED and NECESSARY for a strong community.
  21. Technically speaking, Queues are a good idea. PAYING CUSTOMER speaking, Queues are going to be incredibly detrimental to this game. People PAY you to have the game available - and you're holding them back. My play style requires me to be at and away from the keyboard all the time. I've only been in a few queues, but the amount of time I have to play is generally barely longer than the time I wait in the queue. Saying you're spinning up more servers helps the queue does NOT help the population of the Queue'd server UNLESS you have servers spanned across multiple systems. You have to help the population on that single server and everybody on it - not JUST handle the population of the game by adding more servers. This is a really bad start... you have the people that are dedicated in the game now... what are you going to do about those you MIGHT have a chance at getting as subs that see how long they have to wait and go, "Screw that game!" Really bad choices here guys... get it worked out, ditch the queue system and make sure there are still enough people to play with. You're all smart - figure it out.
