  1. Same problem here. It seems to be more prevalent in the busy hours. That is, I can play fine in the morning (around 5.00 - 9.00 UTC) but later the game becomes completely unplayable. Surprisingly it is possible to log in, do some stuff for 5-7 mins and then lag rapidly increases. All other sites / services show no noticeable lag increase so it must be the server.
  2. I am a bit unsure whether this is a legitimate bug or a change intended by the developers but it does affect players in a very adverse way. Credit chips that were granted for completing personal / guild Conquest were previously items of rare/prototype (blue/purple) quality. Thus, they were not affected by “Sell Junk” button. Currently their quality has been changed to junk (gray) quality and the button sells them alongside generic mob drops even when the played does not wont to sell his credit chips. This change is especially nasty for F2P/Preferred players who can unsuspectingly go over escrow limit. It’s a shock even for subscribers who decided to stockpile credit chips for RP or other reasons (like me). To complicate matters, gray quality items cannot be bought back from vendors especially when “Sell Junk” button has been used. What is even worse – those most affected (F2P/Preferred players) are unable to post about this on the forums because they are not subscribed. I respectfully ask this change/bug to be reversed/fixed and credit chip item quality raised so that they are no longer affected by the “Sell Junk” button.
  3. I kinda feel sorry for people who have to play casually at the moment (at least on Darth Malgus, don't know about other servers). Just yesterday some guy tried to sell large turret deco for 300k along with some other CM items, then decided COD mails are complicated (said he needed the money quickly) and ended up selling the turret for 200k on the GTN. Current price for it is around 22.5 mil btw. I bought the turret off GTN and mailed him 3 mil as a sort of compensation but I was somewhat shocked about the gap that exists between different players and their incomes. I'm definitely nowhere as rich as TrixxieTriss (only played for a year and half and don't regularly sell stuff on the GTN) but still it's kinda discomforting seeing people (maybe complete noobs but the guy was 74 lvl) have problems accumulating relatively small amounts of money when stuff costs so much. Don't know about any sure, foolproof way to fix the situation but maybe some direct sale of CM items buy Bioware on the GTN was in order. Like RL when prices rise swiftly on staple goods some countries do a sort of goods intervention selling off a part of their strategic stock.
  4. For me it's primarily Alilia from smuggler Hoth story. Having Thana Vesh would be very nice too. Still have to finish trooper, bounty hunter and agent though, so IDK whether there will be more new companion ideas.
  5. I have to agree with the above poster. Some form of solo content is a must for Oricon and Iokath Ops, also for macrobinaculars and seeker droid final quests. Finding a group for the latter is very hard. Ops can probably be run with a group if I lived in another country with a more suitable time zone. I like this game very much and want to experience as much of the story as possible, but I definitely will not be looking for an Ops group in 12 PM - 2 AM time frame. It could be some short, watered-down, gearless version of the quests and Ops in question but with ALL the relevant cutscenes. Unlike watching Youtube, actually doing such things on a character is much more gratifying and a must for RP reasons too.
  6. Same attitude about companions here. I got to GS level 46 today, had to grind a lot to get this far. I was hoping to get Master Ranos, thus was grinding to get six GS tokens. I understand the need for time to fix buggy items but it has been a month already. Any update on GS companions would be much appreciated.
  7. Played today on CZ-198, Black Hole, Alderaan and Republic Balmorra. Defeat Enemies 2 worked as usual. Maybe only some players are being affected by this bug?
  8. Yes, I tend to agree with above speakers. This quest chain must be soloable. When it was introduced it was understandably popular but plenty of time has passed. People have a lot of other things to do in the game and just aren't that interested in complicated buggy mechanics. Making both H4 macrobinoculars and seeker probe missions soloable is the way to go. Conceivably, they could be turned into FPs to keep group requirement but it would probably entail too much coding.
  9. Thanks, people! Will try Onderon swoop tracks then
  10. Hi folks! With the swoop event in full swing I thought to play all available swoop tracks with my characters, but I am a bit unsure how to proceed. A while ago I read on the forums somewhere that traveling to Onderon on a character that did not reach Onslaught yet auto-completes all story up to Onslaught. Thus, I am wary of trying Onderon swoop tracks with toons that are still lagging behind on story progression. I was wondering though, maybe I read stuff wrong or something. Maybe it is safe, if traveling with mission transport and not global map. Did anyone try doing Onderon swoop tracks on a character that has not completed Onslaught or even class story? Did it auto-complete story?
  11. Have the same problem. Two days so far - no luck. Have been changing instances, didn't help. Apparently the respawn on the thing is broken somehow. Submitted a bug report. Been doing it Pubside if anyone is wondering.

  13. Not much of bug, but still ... During conversation with Gaboorga the Abundant there is a line about attracting "high-DOLLAR" donors to the Feast. There can't be such thing in SW - only "high-CREDIT" donors. It might not be a priority but it would be nice if the line was corrected.
  14. The bug still exists. Went to my ship and back - that fixed it.
  15. The bug is still there as of yesterday. Actually, managed to get poisoned in two places :-( The first one is the usual room with two consoles, but the second one is the room with several destructible "power sources". Luckily traveling to personal starship fixes the issue, had to do it twice though. Have to agree with previous poster - as it is the chapter is unplayable. Besides, the need to jump to starship and return really breaks immersion.
  16. Same problem here. It has persisted since the patch and no workarounds seem to change anything. Couldn't log into my characters even once. Launcher verifies 100% game files and the game load smoothly but then it's the "Quick play mode" message. I'll wait for a fix, because full new non-streaming download seems a bit too much right now. If it helps anyone - AMD CPU and NVIDIA GPU, did not update video drivers since December.
