Yeah, looks like I'm stuck using PVP gear for best results until you can pull mods and have all that goodness follow to orange items. Thanks for the input!

What is the name of the +defense +shield mod? I must be blind, but am not seeing it on torhead. :/ As for the PVP versus PVE set, I gain 1k health and around 6% damage reduction using the pvp set. I lose 6% shield though. Seems like an almost even trade, though I lose out on around 1k health. I'm missing several mod slots right now. I'll do a better comparison when I'm not as tired.

I've got 5 pieces of the PVP gear, but it seems like it stacks only defense, where I'd figure having no shield on there really gimps the mitigation that we thrive on. Is stacking just end+defense really okay? I'm trying to play with some stats here, which is why I'm curious what mods people might see as useful.

I can't run hard modes without having complete gear... I understand my orange stuff will get replaced, though once you can pull the mods out of the columni gear, etc, I might just put it into my orange set. Kinda partial to it. Until then, which mod item is best?

So I've finished my level 50 orange set of gear. I've gotten all the armoring slots filled with the daily commendation level 51 armoring mod. I've been working my way through crafting up the enhancements that I think work. I am still wondering what mod slot items people are using for a full defense spec guardian. Thanks!

Digging this! Have a 50 guardian, but rolled an assassin last weekend and am having as much fun with that as I am getting roflstomped on my server.

I just was on Ilum, Lord Adraas server. 36 Imperials 12 Republic We used hit and run tactics, where the Imperials just grouped up. Nothing we could do. Luckily they didn't spawn camp, but that is inevitable.

I stopped getting the nice flashy screen notifications at 50.

Hah, same here. Having to keep sending my companions out to get more mats to continue the cycle.

Yeah, there are spoilers here. If you don't want to read them, then go away. Spent 2 days questing on Corellia. I go through all of the quests, eventually "saving" the planet from the Empire. There is a 3 or so minute video where I'm told by Corellian leadership and Republic leadership that I deserve the highest rewards for my actions to help the Corellians gain their independence back. I get some credits, the choice of some mods and some legacy xp. What? They just got done telling me that I've gotten the highest award available on Corellia (Blood Stripes) and I get no title? Seems a bit off, I did save Tython and got a nifty title. Seems like there is something missing here, and it's annoying. If your video is eluding to gaining prestige and titles, one would think that would be a reward. Oh, and thank you in advance to the trolls. Keeping you fed is fun for me.

Yeah, it has no auto-attack. However, if you continually right-click on a mob you'll do a basic attack. It's not automatic. You have to click each time to attack.

The only boss I had trouble with (hit 50 yesterday, haven't tried to finish the class story yet, but I am on the last quest) was the fight at the end of Chapter 1. I mis-timed my interrupts enough where I died twice. Love the fact that using interrupts makes the PVE game easier. I use them all the time. Oh, and force pushing bosses around as much as they push me is fun.

I'm planning on playing. Will be my first imp toon. Been doing nothing but PVP and loving the Merc. At level 12 I was top dps on two maps, lol. I just can't do many of the objectives yet. Much better applied DPS than my JK Guardian. :/

D'oh! Looking forward to gearing up my BH though, almost wishing it was the first character I played.

That's a better response than what I got looking for the Ascendant's Alloy set for my Jedi Knight. I figure the two pieces I'm looking for (Ascendant's Alloy Battlecage - level 19, Ascendant's Alloy Leggings - level 31) are both random craftables at this point.

Wondering if anyone has found more than the boots of this armor set. I think the chest + legs are pattern drops from missions, but I can't find any data on the DB sites that helps. No, there haven't been any vendors that are selling the legs or chest piece. TYIA.

I've been leveling exclusively using the tank tree. Haven't had any issues. I had been using Kira, but have since gotten Doc and now fights are a lot easier. Find myself using most all of my CC methods on some fights just to keep as many off of Doc as I can. Upgrade his gear, and he heals almost as well as a player. (I said ALMOST!!!!)
