I wish my area offered 120Mb service. I have 10Mb internet and am sitting at "Installing 67%" and started patching the game about 2.5 HOURS ago....I'm guessing I have another 1.5 hours or so to go until its done. All this for what the patch notes say is basically a freakin LAUNCHER UPDATE. I think I may have been better off just uninstalling the game and re-installing it like other people said

I've had the same problem on my 50 Guardian, I'll have 4 mobs standing right next to me and i'll only hit 1 or 2 of them. Heck, I even went back to Tython and had 3 level 6 mobs standing less than 2m from me and I only hit 1 of them, and they were right in front of me. Yeah, they broke something with Force Sweep in the last patch.

Having to repair your gear when you die is what is known as a Death Penalty. It would be a pretty lame game if you could just go rush in and die all the time without having to worry. Repair bills are what makes you have to learn how to play your class and actually think before rushing into mobs on how you're going to handle them. As stated before, repair before your gear breaks or stop doing what you're doing that makes you die so often.

You're going to have to give more info that just that, like what quest are you talking about? Some class quests cannot be abandoned, is it a class quest you're talking about?
