  1. Only those in SWTOR. They managed to turn Mandalorians from highly trained bad-as* killer zealots like you see in the old KOTOR games into some sort of sadly comical stereotype barbarian warriors that only do random brawls and then randomly hunt something all the while boasting about how great they are. A MMO based on The Mandalorian would be awesome though.

    The age of the stunlock is over. It is now the time of the 70% snares & roots lock CC is still good but it depends heavily on the class if its worth picking up over other options in the tree. For example Operatives should really pick the stun while for Marauders the stun is not the best option.

  4. Once upon a time when SWTOR launched Ilum was promoted as the PvP planet. We had large battles there with hundreds of players but....the engine this game is based on is so crappy it can not handle so many players fighting one another. The result was terrible performance for everyone on Ilum; freezes, crashes etc.. so rather than fixing the engine (lots of work) they just more or less removed large scale open world pvp (far less work). TLDR: will never happen

  7. I think you are right. I've had the misfortune of playing several MMO's that got put into maintenance mode before getting closed down, and the vibe I'm getting from SWTOR is very similar. Not just from the game but particularly from the way things are being communicated to the players by the developers.
  8. Yes it is dying (slowly). It's obvious to me from this 'expansion' and the announcement of Ubisoft's Starwars MMO that Bioware is only investing the bare minimum in this game anymore. I doubt we will see any proper expansions for SWTOR, just some more minimum effort content so people stay subbed as long as possible.

  12. Yes the class needs serious help. Currently way too low dps. For arsenal I like your suggestion of making primed shot a base passive. For IO I like your suggestion of serrated shot being refreshed by something like railshot or thermal detonator but I'd also like to suggest a passive that allows serrated shot to be castable on the move.
  13. Couple of days ago faced a premade in huttball that after scoring twice, took the ball without scoring and just farmed kills for the remainder of the match. Our entire team combined had 1 kill while they had like 50+ It's beyond comprehension why this is still allowed in this game. There should be a separate 'ranked battleground' mode for premade groups.
  14. Never happened to me playing my merc, how hard are you physically smashing your ability hotkey?
  15. When I pvp I want to fight other players not guard a capture point for 15 minutes twiddling my thumbs or carry an orb back and forth while all the fun is elsewhere. If only we had some proper brawler maps. People must be absolutely braindead to play like that...

  17. Just wondering, even for an arsenal merc it pretty much requires all augments and a large part of the gear to have alacrity on them to reach the second threshold for the 1.3 sec. GCD. It's almost a 10% damage increase to reach it but is it still worthwhile to do this or is it better to go for the first 7.15% threshold (1.4 sec GCD) and dump the rest into crit? Specifically for PvP but also PvE
  18. Tanks are borderline OP in objective based PvP. Obviously a full defense & shield tank is not as viable in an arena match compared to say huttball.
