  1. It is almost as if they don't' want folks to play. After the huge failure of 7.0 you would think that lessons were learned, apparently not. I too am going to have to reconsider why I sub, not certain what the purpose is anymore.
  2. This is still an issue, the final you cannot access the final transport ship.
  3. This for the first time in years happened to me. The issue appears to be EA disabled my account, which I did not know. Thus, steam was not able to pass the payments to EA. You cannot fix the issue by email alone, you actually have to call, for security reasons. Also, steam cannot fix the problem for you. You will have to screen shot your steam purchase, your steam account information to EA. The process took about 20 minutes. Make certain to cancel steam renewal, as EA will renew it directly. If you, don't you will be double billed. Apparently, the issue fix is to 'update' by EA password, or they will inactivate the account. This is the final email they sent: Thanks for contacting the Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ customer service team. It was good to talk to you today, I’ve included a recap of our conversation below for your records. You contacted us as you didn't receive the game time for the subscription you purchased through Steam, in which we were able to validate account ownership after working together and updated 180 days game time and 3600 cartel coins in the account. Hope it summarize it all. Should you require further assistance with this or any other issue, please do not hesitate to contact us again. https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support the email that works is: https://www.swtor.com/ For EA: support@swtor.com The numbers to call: USA: 1-(855)-345-2186 (Support available Monday- Saturday from 14:00 UTC - 23:00 UTC) UK: +44 (0)208 1969 890 (Support available Monday- Saturday from 14:00 UTC - 23:00 UTC) France: +33 (0) 4 81 68 10 51 (Support available Monday- Saturday from 9:00 UTC - 18:00 UTC) Germany: + 49 (0)221 8282 9212 (Support available Monday- Saturday from 9:00 UTC - 18:00 UTC)
  4. I just logged onto the PTS. What I did notice is that the acc and ala 'tertiary stats' are now 'not' being scaled. I went to several planets, and they did reflect what the actual values were as noted on the fleet station. Crit is still being scaled. Presence was still not reflecting all the value. It did make a difference in game play on several heroics and dailies. I also noted better gear drops on the bosses as well. Hopefully these will be some of the changes in the upcoming update next week.
  5. Five months later, a huge list of significant game bugs, hundreds of complaint threads and this is what we get. It is pretty clear the 'developers' are not paying attention to the player base. The question remains why?
  6. I would have to agree with 'Real Dark Lord' A roll back to 6.0 level sync until you can fix the current system is the most reasonable thing to do at this point 10 weeks later. Nobody actually complained and it was working. BW definition of expansion is quite different then the actually definition. When you 'expand' you don't subtract. Many of us have been working for 10 years to develop our stats, especially tertiary stats to where we want them. That is hundreds upon hundreds of hours, money, grinding. You did tremendous damage when you just decided to nerf them and introduced a broken system.
  7. I agree with what you are saying. No, it is not being a 'spoiled' brat expecting a product to work and function as advertised. From what is being released today only a few of the actual concerns are being addressed. The major issues like imbalanced, stats, companions, we have 'no' idea about. There is little point in higher gearing if the stats are reduced in 95% of the game. I have been playing this game for 10 years and rarely has BW surprised me with something good/positive. Fortunately, I set my expectations low and just assume the worst. This 7.0 is one of the worst. They have actually removed incentive to play the game. People like to have goals and receive rewards for playing games, not just grind for the sake of a few trinkets. I don't know anybody that would think making old content more difficult if a good idea. So yes, in this expansion they made the player weaker, while making mobs, etc more powerful. There was no point in level 80. The poor communication from the Developers speaks volumes. Most of us can read between the lines when they go into the technology discussion trying to justify their errors. And certainly, it should not be month 3 and some fixes are coming. Here is the thing 6.0 was working, all that was needed was a few updates in story, flashpoints, equipment and they would not have the problems they are having now. I have read many of your post and you are on spot with many of your comments. Some folks just don't get it and never will.
  8. I did not see anything on the tertiary stat issue as mentioned in dev post. We intend to update the new system to maintain Accuracy and Alacrity thresholds when scaled up or down in a future update. This would be very similar to how the old system worked for Accuracy and Alacrity specifically.
  9. I agree with everything you have stated. With each 'expansion' they take more from you making your toon/companion less powerful. After spending hundreds of hours and billions of credits to boost them, they take it all away and give you crumbs or nothing in return. There is no point in getting higher gear now because it is downgraded as is all your stats. What is the point of grinding/farming if the achievement is going to be taken from you or made obsolete? They have made content you have already mastered more difficult makings mobs almost impossible to beat as your companion stands by and gets defeated with a mere slap in the face. The purpose of a game is enjoyment not a hated chore.
  10. I have followed what has been posted since onslaught and have a good idea of the pros and cons at this point. First they did a lot of things right, but, did too many things wrong. This is ‘not’ an expansion, this is a re-calibration/re-engineering of the game. Unfortunately, this is not the first time and I have no doubt this will not be the last time the developers will do this. Increase the players level 5 points, increase equipment ratings 50 points, but, now playing older game content is (harder/ takes longer). After many, many hundreds of hours of grinding to get equipment and sets, they are now useless. As for the new equipment, I have not been able to notice any appreciable difference at play at any level on any planet. But, the cost is extremely high. Added penalties: my companions of nerf , so my healing is downgraded. The new scaling on planets has reduced all my toons stats. In some cases, you cannot even complete it unless you die/respawn several times. So overall, I was doing much better before ‘expansion’ 6.0.! The developers not only moved the goal post, they changed the rules of the game and added more handicaps. For certain, in and ‘expansion’ it should never be harder to play content that was already mastered. I just don’t understand why bioware doesn’t get it!
