I'm not sure what's going on here in 2022, but an abnormally high percentage of the time when I go to login to play the game, y'all now make me wait for an emailed one-time login password to be received so I can enter it.
Not only did the game just do this to me at login tonight, but the Forums did, as well, claiming they don't recognize my computer. This is the same gaming laptop I've been playing this game on since I began playing it roughly 2 and a half years ago! So none of this makes any sense.
So, you know... what's up with that?
It has to do with the ip address. Are you logging in in different locations, using public wifi etc..

So I want this achievement but it lists achievements for FPs that I didn't think have a story mode. Is there one for those flashpoints? Or do I just need to group for those?

So I don't know if this is a bug or what but on my Inquisitor I received this quest, got no quest marker and had no idea where to go. I accidentally died and the game took me back to the starting area and I couldn't get back to the mission area. Resetting quest does nothing. I sent a ticket is there anything else I can do?

Ok i haven't played this new content yet (computer is in the shop getting fixed) but I'm worried. I've enjoyed the game mostly for it's story and solo content and I'm worried I shouldn't get invested. I want honest opinions if the game is on it's death bed then I won't even bother.

So I've read to do this on a Sorcerer or Sage to use the phase walk to help? I can't figure out how to do this hidden achievement. I also read about the swoop tactical. That would take months to get as it can't be done in a week. Any ideas how to get this achievement?

No. It's why I don't play KOTFE/KOTET on my non force users. I don't hate that story I just play it on my sith/jedi toons.

The amount of harassment that goes on within fleet chat is out of hand. Racism and bigotry are worn like proud badges of honor for some of these people, and they have no fear of harassing other's in fleet chat.
My guild members and I have multiple tickets open that have gone unanswered for weeks.
This is honestly the most toxic MMO chat I've seen. Players in League, WoW, EVE, New World, GW2, ect, will all face punishment for such behavior. Why isn't that the case here?
It's mostly kids who think it's funny. The serious offenders get banned. Unfortunately I usually just stick to guild/group chat.

What makes you think anyone was surprised? You've let us all down before, and you'll do it again. Nothing has changed, nor will it ever. Fortunately, your 'loyal' player base either chooses to deny this simple truth, or they just don't care.
You'll continue to make excuses, guess it's fortunate that Covid is such a ready excuse, eh?
You'd rather they release something broken? Let them take their time.

I did mine as like 220...item level ya not kidding also as sorc healer....it was insanely hard before 2nd boss you kinda need heroic moment for the 7 elites...the last boss you need it for the 2nd set of ads and need to CC one od snipers also set my comp to healer as well as it helps a ton..
don't even try to kill last boss with heroic ...use it for 2nd and 1st set ads tbh the ads will kill you not boss this is the same for all bosses in there. if you don't have all 4 unlocks for heroic idk then you'd need lot cc for the ads as they will nuke you or your comp.
other then that its not hard. and I just returned after 5 years gone
The second set of adds right before her third stage is what got me everytime.

Guardian and im 275 i rating I believe.

tried it again. I got further but can't beat Bas Sunn. His adds kill me before I can even land a blow on him. I'm trying to kill the medics first but I still die. I can't even take them out.
Edit: Got past that now Heta Kol is giving me a headache. I can't get past her third adds.

It might be useful to have a +50 Presence amplifier (or two) on your gear, if you get the level 1 comp.
I've done the solo SoV successfully both before and after the 'fix'. I've never actually noticed the companion's level.
All three characters I've done it on, had iRating 306, but only one was fully augmented.
SoV is harder than most solo content, but it really only possibly requires that you spend some time upping your gear level before you try it.
Yeah I tried that and got farther but there's one spot that keeps killing me. I might try the presence thing though. Where might I get one of those?

I doubt there will be one till they do a new patch.
Well I guess I can wait and work on my others characters while I wait for two things to get sorted. This and Cyberpunk. Cyberpunk actually is working for me but don't want to risk triggering a game breaking bug that was just introduced.

How is the fact that Rass Orlo is back to level 1 influence not a known issue by now?

Is it doable yet or still broken? I'm waiting for a fix I've been gone a couple of weeks so I'm curious. Any update at all or upcoming patch updates anything from bioware acknowledging it?

I'm in the middle of doing Echoes of Oblivion for the first time, and I love the Mindscape. Trippy and gorgeously done.
I like it too. I thought it was well done. I just want them to fix spirit of vengeance.

Not sure why the commotion?? I know I have only done it 4 times, 2 on guardian tank, 2 on vengeance juggernaut. As early as the firrst day it came out, and as late as 3 days ago. And none of them is over 280 rating. I cant see why people struggle. The only time I got into trouble, was because I space bared at the wrong time. A few tight fights yes, but I like it that way, more fun than many other flash points were the boss fights "auto complete" for you when park your toon near the boss and goes for coffee.
To be honest, I think that this, and other simular "bu huu" threads, are the result of level sync and players with gratification issues, as well as no patience. Cooldowns are the key to this fp, and yes I know they take time to get off cooldown once used, but players would/should know that if they had to play their chars efficiently from lvl 1 to 75, instead of level sync breezing trough content.
And i don't see how you got through it at all. It has nothing to do with patience. My latest two runs i made it to the bridge on the darmunda(?) ship and cannot progress. Rasss dies nearly instantly and I soon follow. 5 strong enemies a healer and two enforcers that aggro the minute you try a kolto tank. I tried for nearly fifteen minutes and when I could finally kill one after I respawn in the middle of a fight the dead one comes back! This is a poorly designed fp and solo mode is a joke. It needs rebalancing or I'll at least never be able to progress the story unless I can find a group to get me through it. But in story mode you can't do that can you?

Our team is currently looking into the bug with Rass Ordo's level when he joins you for the Spirit of Vengeance Flashpoint - Solo/Story Mode.
For now, there is no additional information. I'll inform you in this thread when I know more.
Good to hear but as of now the fp is not completable solo. Please fix this.

That is flat out misleading at best, false at worst information.
The full list of changes, notably Rass's influence level and boss changes, according to several accounts (including mine), only applied to characters who had already been in the Flashpoint pre-6.2a (Dec. 15th).
Bioware already acknowledged some of these points on the Bug Forum (though they are still trying to pinpoint some causes), including some of the cut-scene bugs that remain.

So if I up my gear and companion influence level will that help? Or should I wait for more balance patches?

The FP has had issues from the start, see Dasty's post.
It's a hard FP, compared to other FP's, and yes gear does make a difference.
They are supposedly balancing it, hopefully soon. Try it again with better gear, hopefully you can complete it/
Ok. Whats the best way to get better gear? I mostly play solo so I don't have commendations or things like that to buy from vendors.
