  1. The doors in the Jedi Library will not open to get to the remaining 2 Imperial Commanders, is the instance bugged or am I doing something wrong?

Playing a a Jedi Sentinel and when I enter the instance I can see the glitch where it looks like the doors are opening, it looks liker layers of doors are opening but they do not open.

    Thanks for the help!!

Might have to reset the quest and do it again. That usually fixes things like that.

  2. Yes, they really are, and always were.

It's so much fun to be stuck in a literal 30-second-long (or even more) animation lag/freeze soft-lock loop, unable to do *********** anything until this cheap turd of an online game decides that you can have control again, only for all the horde of mook-mobs that was slowly but surely chopping you down to evade/reset, and you get to try all over again, hoping the soft-lock doesn't repeat.

Except it does. It always does, sooner or later.

    But go on then:

Patronisingly pat me on the head and tell me to just get a better computer when my rig is more than beast enough to run far, far more hardware-heavy games than this lashed-up garbage net-coded piece of **** can ever dream of being.

Go on, you know you want to.

So sick of BioWare and BioWare's ********. But even sicker of their thrice-damned craven little defenders.

And that's that. If that's how you want to act it's better to talk to a wall. You've lost credibility when you start attacking.

  3. The push backs and stuns are too much now. It’s completely over balanced now because it seem every silver grade and gold mob has this mechanic, even old mobs from the vanilla part of the game often have this mechanic now, especially in heroics and flash points.

I wouldn’t mind it so much if it wasn’t so prevalent or over done. It’s too common and too over the top, it needs to be dialled back a bit so you don’t know which group or what types of particular mobs will have it. Having newlry every group of mobs have it is just lazy development.

If I had to guess, I would say they made one sweeping change to make all the mobs do this, regardless of where they are in the game because it’s easier and faster than checking when and which mobs should do it throughout the game. And that is what I call lazy development or better yet, cheap and nasty development because they don’t have the resources or possibly the skills to do it properly.

I havent had it be every mob. Only some. Even the silver and gold ones. Only some do.

  4. These servers are garbagiooooooooooo.

I have a 37ms average ping to the server. Every 1-2 minutes I get a massive lag spike where I still have 200fps but I'm just running in place. I tried to turn on the frame rate limiter in game to 144hz and 120fps limit. Doesn't work. Googled it. Apparently it's just a menu option that was never implemented and doesn't do anything.

So my work around and I've been using it the last 8 hours... Download PUBG to hamstring my fast internet to make it average internet. Lag spikes go away. As soon as PUBG finishes downloading, lag is back. I've deleted and redownloaded PUBG 20+ times today just to be able to play SWTOR without lag spikes.

I know the game makes no money so why would they bother putting any solid work in to it but gosh darn. The FPS limiter has me face palming. Why even put the button in the game if it doesn't do anything?

This is also the first game I've played where my system was too good and needed to be artificially slowed down... Well, other than the original Oregon Trail.

The servers are pretty decent actually but they do have issues sometimes and sorry but the game does make money.

  5. I still LOVE this game. I just love to escape reality for a bit and get lost in the Star Wars world. Nothing better in my honest opinion. 👍🏻❤️👏🏻

I agree. Nice escape from real world issues. Though when politics enter game chat I turn it off lol.

  6. Look I get it changes have been made that some don't like but overall I think the game is good and still doing well and I think it will continue for years to come. Am I just deluding myself or do others enjoy the game too? All I see are complaints both here and the game chat.
  7. I tried my best with it. I was able to go through all the class stories in vanilla, doing most of the HM fp and ops.

And I still can't beat the bonus boss of the new fp .

That fp was fairly simple. Good but easy enough. I've noticed the difficulty hike and it took a short time to adapt to and that was it. I do agree it's a little harder but still fun.

  8. I not going to quote my credentials but there are many many software development companies with far more complex applications and databases than this that have no issues making changes without even near-catastrophic errors.

So when you play the apologist and make excuses for them it only means you alone like donating your money for a cause that is not my cause and a (on average) unreliable product. Community doesn't include me if it is brown nosing out of technical ignorance.

Look at all the possible story choices that were affected here. No way they could have caught all of them.

  9. Always fun to see the little apologists in full force after every patch, when something inevitably goes wrong.

But we are way off from the record here...was it 10-12 hours downtime for 5. whatitsnumber patch...

Would you rather they not fix it? Every patch has bugs. At least they fix them.
