  1. Good to hear. Thanks for posting, I'll try that. I had tried completely leaving the lab, leaving instance and resetting phase, etc.
  2. Logged out during the quest, Scenario 2 targets picked 3/4. When coming back, console lets me regain abilities, but picking targets does not increase the counter. Can't reset quest. Tried leaving and coming back, does not work. Don't want to abandon quest for fear I will not be able to re-obtain it.
  3. Bammbamm always reminds me I could be doing better. I'll second Telos; I know I'd better pay attention when he's on my team or he won't mince words. Talionis and Fare are Guardians I always enjoyed trying to keep up with.
  4. It also filters the gunslinger spec "sharpshooter," at least it used to. I turned off the filter ages ago.
  5. This happened to me, only the opposite. I was in a group with 2 lightsiders that won the roll. I picked DS and clicked the altar, but when we went back to the NPC on Coruscant we all got the lightside item/title. I'm not sure what's causing it, the only thing I can guess is the separate instance for turning in the quest (not the instance for the heroic) whoever is the owner of that instance you get their choice if you participate in that conversation. The only way I could test it is to rerun it on a different char and I don't know when I'll get the chance again. For what it's worth I tried sending in a ticket to see if they could switch the item/title and they were not able to. The problem is if they did the quest still flagged me for completing it a certain way, and that outcome dictates which other pieces you dig up on various planets. For instance, even if they gave me the Dreadseed chest, when I went to dig up bracers I would get Star Forager ones.
  6. Just wanted to throw in and say I was glad I'm not the only one. Happens on my Guardian in PVE and PVP, and as others say it can be a huge problem when you leap over holes in PVE and just fall midway through or in PVP you're trying to leap to an ally in Huttball and you end up falling into the pit. I can't seem to figure out when it's more likely to do it, I thought it had to do with crossing deep gaps/pits but I've had it happen on solid ground where I land halfway to the mob/player. It does seem my character still hits them with the leap attack, though. There are occasional bugs with jumping that have happened as flukes since the game began, but this is a more recurring problem that began for me with the last patch.
  7. Shout out to Oberlyn, for at the start of voidstar and seeing me guard someone saying "nothing worse than a pugging tank." Not sure who he even is, but glad to take the insult, because I bet it was rough when I beat your 600k damage and of course, since I'm a tank, dwarfed your protection. And you were DPS Guardian the whole time! Probably best to just be silent in the future. Glad we got the win though.
  8. TL; DR: With the advent of the appearance kiosk, I propose allowing people to freely customize "PC species" companions. (I'm aware this has been suggested a few times, but here are some specific ideas.) Companions back in the beta used to all look the same. Because this was a little boring, you guys came up with the idea of customization "kits" to allow some differentiation of companions that did not require a complete overhaul of the system while still maintaining things like sex, species and body type. Now that the appearance kiosk exists, I'd like to suggest allowing people to customize their favorite companion just as they would their own character, using sliders and selecting their own skin tones/cosmetics/hair etc. There are two different ways I can see implementing this depending on the tech and desired route: 1) When you open the appearance kiosk, have the option to select a current companion and adjust acceptable sliders to alter their DEFAULT appearance. Any normal Cartel Coin charges would apply (humbly suggesting a discount given that it's just a companion) and any current unlocks for species (human hair, for example) would be available. Any static customization kits applied would change the companion appropriately; when removed the companion reverts back to the "default" you created. OR 2) Before changing a companion's appearance you would need to purchase from the market an "open customization kit: [companion name]." When visiting the appearance kiosk, you would adjust your companion's sliders and the final look would be applied to the custom kit. This kit would function like any other, able to be equipped/unequipped. If you wanted to take this idea further, you could include functionality to get as many "blank" kits as you wanted in case people wanted to swap around, or allow "created" kits to be traded/sold. Here are some suggested rules: -Companions of non-PC available species would still use kits to customize as normal, as there is no already-existing character creation functionality for these species (includes companions like Qyzen, Khem Val, etc.). -Given that, any species currently available to the PC would be available to customize (humans like Doc, Cyborgs like Mako, Zabrak like Akaavi, Rattataki like Kaliyo, etc.). -You cannot change the species, sex, or body type of your companions (the first two are obvious, the last one is debatable). -Any current rules regarding the cartel market still apply. Special customization options require those unlocks (you would need human hair color customization to give Doc blue hair, for example) and each slider adjustment requires its own purchase cost. In conclusion, it seems to me with the introduction of the appearance kiosk and the focus on personalizing characters via small fees that open customization of companions is the next logical step in their evolution. Thanks for reading.
  9. A couple updates ago the ladder stopped working. I don't know if it was intended or not but you do need the MGGS now.
  10. Speaking as someone that went to the one in NY, there's no purpose to asking these questions because they simply won't answer (as you can see in the original post). But like others have said the point of these isn't really to reveal new info to a tiny group of people. I went to one and got to talk to the writer of the Trooper story (as well as some flashpoints and an OP) and maybe he was fake but he seemed like he really cared about the story and wanted to hear what people thought. Someone even asked him a question about the end of the Trooper story and he didn't want to spoil it for others but wanted to come over to their table later to hash it out. Sometimes it's really just about being able to talk to them like real people in a real place, instead of them analyzing metrics or seeing how many posts on the forums a topic has gotten. I know I told them I wanted to see more Huttball maps and they seemed surprised (like they hadn't considered it) but from this Q&A it looks like it's at least on their radar (just not a high priority, and honestly it doesn't need to be). Also it's for.. like.. fun? You know, where you hang out with people you share an interest in and drink and eat food? I understand getting frustrated at them for always being so cryptic but it doesn't really apply here.
  11. What the title says. Require someone has an advanced class to queue for warzones. This isn't just for people who hit 10 and want to queue, it's to eliminate trolls that queue in warzones all the way to 50 as a "trooper."
  12. Not to be too much of a jerk because I really love this game, but Q&As and interviews almost always look like this: Q: Will we be getting (community desired feature)? A1 (if there are no current plans): No current plans. A2 (if there are current plans): No information on that at this time. Q: Tell us more about (planned future feature)! A: We are very excited about (planned future feature) and will have more information very soon! Q: Are you aware of the current (bug/exploit)? A: We have a dedicated team working to resolve this issue and we will have a fix in a future patch. I hope it's not like that, but I wouldn't get too excited about this. If I could make a suggestion to them about this Q&A thing it would be to be sure to avoid this type of scenario. And I understand why they can't always give ETAs and delve into specifics as much as we want, but if that's the case then don't bother with these sorts of things.
  13. I logged onto the forums to vote on this because the new UI did, in fact, give me a headache as well within a few minutes sitting down and playing (normally I can play for many hours at a time). I popped a couple Excedrin and kept playing, but it could probably use a tweak; the flashing is at the very least a little distracting. Love the game though!
  14. They've stated there will be neutral gear but it doesn't appear to be in for launch. Hopefully it'll be added quickly.
