  2. I have an issue whereby leaping to an enemy player or interceding to a friendly player sometimes falls way to short. There are also instances where leap ports you back to your original position and nothing happens wasting gcds. Another problem is the instance whereby leaping to an opposing player can sometimes cause my character to be unable to use my attacks on the opposing player, but he can attack me. I am able to move but my abilities cannot be used. I suspect my character is stuck underneath the map but it shows my character still on the same area. This is a highly irritating and annoying bugged that should be looked at. Best, Lesseps

  5. Nice one Cates. They should make a new category for you called 300k heals/dmg/protection or called it the triple double category. I was in this game, we only really had two dps in our team but was still somewhat impressed that we were burning the rest of your team down. Yooni was peeling for our healers, I was pretty stuck in focusing Eumelia, whose heal numbers are pretty impressive and mind boggling, its not like he was freecasting those heals either, I was on his balls the whole match. I say the compromise you can do is check the hp of each screenshot currently in the records since this is one of the main effects of the augment glitch, and take down any ss that does not have it. I don't think this is asking too much and still within the realm of reason. Because let's face it, most of the records that are posted here, especially the overall damage/heals/protection as well as dps/hps are more or less the result of the circumstances of luck. Those games required the stars to align for that particular record to be achieved such as a stalemate in the games. It requires the right amount of heals/deeps/ and tanks to achieve these records not just on your own team but the other side as well. People with egos are probably thinking that because they did an x amount of dmg in a wz that they're leet stuff but the truth is it takes some luck to achieve this. With that being said, these records are basically just an example of how high you can get within these circumstances but still does not mean you're the best player ever. I think it would be wrong if you just take away some of these records and spoil away the whole thing because some guys decided to exploit the system. I can understand taking it out and restarting for the biggest hit records because that is easily replicable because you just try to get the biggest hit on an opposing player but the other records is not easily replicable, not because of lack of skill but you have to rely on a certain amount of luck to achieve it too. The best way I can try to explain this is this: Because Barry Bonds decided to take steroids does not illegitimized the previous players records who did it legitimately. I dunno whatever, you get my drift.

  11. no worries man. Panser reached out to us the other night and gave a rather insightful and intelligent perspective from your part. We understand what you guys are trying to do and to your guilds credit - I sincerely think you guys want a thriving ranked competition as opposed to just rofl-stomping everyone. I am a very pragmatic person and as I said before, I'm skeptical if this is going to succeed or not. If we really want a thriving ranked competition in our server, everyone has to step it up. Leave the egos on the side and to those people in guilds with ranked team aspirations, help your team. The reason ranked competitions is so little in our server is because there is not enough people to fill out a bunch of teams. Kickball may have rejuvenated it for a while, but that is a short term fixed and lack the commitment that would have come if it would have been represented by a guild/ full team. I think the idea here is to give starter teams enough jolt to be self sustainable. Even if they are not on the same league as uncensored or ld50, if we could just encourage more teams to participate it would really go a long way in improving the ranked scene. Right now, if you queue for ranked, there really is just one team that waits on the other side and that is uncensored (not that I have anything against going against you guys but you get what I'm saying here). The intent is to get more teams to queue on a given night so that your rating actually works. Now if this fails.. then I guess we all wait for cross-server queueing to actually used the rating matchmaking mechanism.
  12. lol.. kind of have to with a guild name like that (Qdodgers)... no in all seriousness, take the queue pop. Im sure the intention is for a lot of teams to be queued. There are alot of pvp guilds in our server and if we actually used the intended rating system, this wouldn't be a problem. But to be honest though, I am a little skeptical if this is going to succeed or not. The problem in my opinion is in the design of the game itself and in addition, it requires a significant effort in part of the participants to field a ranked team.. There is no real incentive to participate in ranked other than to compete (which is intrinsic and a good philosophy to have) but not enough for most casual players. And add in the factor of the effort of creating a ranked team. What you get is little reward with huge effort from the players. Is it really a surprised that we only see a few serious ranked teams on our server, probably just two (uncensored and ld50)?
  13. Hey Chaotic Pixels, thanks for showing up last night, that was a great game and people from my guild really enjoyed that match. Its just too bad we only saw you guys once.. Anyway, I hope to see you guys more on the future, I think right now both our guilds are probably playing on the same level. Hehe, not to take anything away from my guild but I think we only won that match because we capped our node half a second earlier than you guys did but could have gone either way in my opinion. Send me a whisper or that noob Seane if you guys want to schedule another match..
  14. I just have to address this because I’m part of teamlucky7. I have a lot of respect for uncensored not just for the high level they play in but also because they played a part in mentoring us in the ranked competitions (particularly ilye and devil) and will always be grateful for that. I have to say that I agree with your general feeling regarding dodging queues. In fact I have quit the guild for a short while because I did not like the direction that we were going. But I have talk with several of my guild members since then and have assured me that this type of behaviour will not happen again. However, to be fair with my guild, you have to understand that our team is simply not in the same level with uncensored or watchmen/ld50. We still do not have consistent core group of 8 players that play together consistently. From my personal observation, there are only 2-3 other players in my guild that consistently plays that is fully geared and good. When we do queue for ranked our team composition is always changing, sometimes we have complimentary players, sometimes it’s a total disaster with just one healer or tank, but most of the times we have undergeared players that still have recruit/battlemaster on (though we are hoping to remedy this shortly because of 1.6).. But we still queue. I also agree with the principle of “getting better by playing better teams”, but it’s really hard to learn anything new when you are getting rofl-stomped and to convince your guild members to re-queue after. I suspect that part of the problem is the matchmaking system that bioware implemented and that there are only a few teams. Personally, I do not really mind losing that way but bear in mind that all we really learn from getting roflstomped is that our team still has to get better. I’m not justifying what my guild did or queue dodging in general, because I do understand that the other team will be left stuck on a map for 10min and that it's really a distasteful behaviour, but all I can really ask for is some understanding here.
