  1. You need to sub in order to post on this forum, so no one here is "freeloading", as you so delightfully put it. If people legitimately playing a game on a free-to-play basis upsets you to the point of vitriol, maybe you need some serious perspective?
  2. Simply because he was the only healer for the Sith Warrior back then, before any companion could take on any role. He's certainly a rare sight on the Darth Malgus server these days, I think I see more Broonmarks than Quinns.
  3. If you're unable to resist Aric for that long, you could always just dump him for Jonas, should Jonas become available in the future. The other possibility would be to use the polyamory head-canon option, which SWTOR lends itself to rather well, and romance them both at the same time.
  4. I wouldn't say that appearing on the Odessen terminal in KOTFE Chapter 9, along with every other companion, is being particularly loyal. Although in Quinn's case, it's probably an improvement.
  5. The difference is, Quinn betrays and tries to kill you. It seems like someone decided to necro this thread just to antagonise the people who like Lana. Not a very classy thing to do, really.
  6. Maybe players like to use Death From Above for the reason of, you know, having fun. Plus, this is a bug report forum, and it's a bug.
  7. You can definitely still romance her on Ossus, my Consular rejected her at the first opportunity in the class story but was still able to pick up the romance on Ossus, so you'll be fine.
  8. I had a problem with graphical artifacts while travelling on a speeder which was resolved by turning on "enhanced shadows" in the options. Not sure if this will help in your case, but may be worth a try.
  9. Yes, I definitely prefer Republic side Makeb, particularly Lemda. It's a shame we didn't see more of her beyond that expansion.
  10. I have reported it, along with some of the others who have witnessed some very strange behaviour on the Darth Malgus GTN over the past week or so. That doesn't mean it can't be discussed here as well, to raise awareness. Duping is not exactly unheard of in MMO's.
  11. They were not referring to you, but certain other posters, some of whom don't even play the game any more but like to come here and talk crap every day.
  12. The timer was nowhere near to running out on any of the items. Very easy to notice. The items had actually been selling very slowly, then all suddenly disappeared. Very easy to notice. The player hasn't relisted any of them since. Again, very easy to notice.
  13. Given that the pages and pages of extremely under-priced, high value gold and platinum armour sets, listed by the same person, instantly disappeared two nights ago on Darth Malgus, I'd say it seems likely that Bioware did do something about it.
  14. The Tulak Hord armour set normally goes for a lot more than 9 million credits, I think it's usually about 3 or 4 times that on the Malgus server. It's 2600 CC's from the Cartel Market.
  15. Right now on Darth Malgus server, the same person has 26 sets of Tulak Hord's Armor for 9 million credits each. That's a gold cartel market item. I don't know how legitimate that is, and I don't know how much SWTOR has suffered with duping in the past, but I've seen it extensively on other games.
  16. I inadvertently rejected Jaesa and Nadia during the class stories, but was able to start romancing them both after Ossus, so I'd say there's a good chance you'll be able to start a relationship with Kira when she finally returns.
  17. Actually, it is possible to start the romance at that point on a male Consular. Mine rejected Nadia during the class story, but was able to start the romance after Ossus.
  18. Oh, is he? Sorry, I hadn't heard of him. But anyway, as OldVengeance said, I can't imagine voice actors are all that expensive, I just assumed if they had a busy TV schedule as well as the voice work, they might cost a bit more.
  19. I'm not sure that's true, given that Lydia Leonard has a very respectable TV career here in the UK, regularly appearing on our screens. I'm no expert on these things, but I'd imagine she'd cost Bioware a lot more than that bloke who voices Theron, and most of the other actors they use. Bearing in mind the excellent job she always does, I'd say it's money well spent though.
  20. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this, great job!
  21. I find that when quitting a game makes me happy, it makes me happier still to quit the forum associated with that game as well. Make a clean break and all that. Just saying...
  22. That's probably because the Endurance one on Makeb makes it feel like there's a lot more than two on that planet. Good luck with the pigs on Rishi.
  23. This one's easy. Doc. Disgusting, unfunny, cowardly creep. Closely followed by that pathetic little worm, Quinn.
  24. Sith Inquisitor Favourite: Ashara (mostly a sympathy vote over what we do to her on Taris. Can be incredibly whiny, but being a Togruta helps. If she looked like Skadge, I doubt I'd have as much sympathy, which probably makes me a bit shallow) Least Favourite: Andronikos (has a real grammar problem, gruff, not the brightest spark, don't hate him but a bit dull) Sith Warrior Favourite: DS Jaesa (interesting conversion to the dark side, becomes promiscuous yet devoted, with sadomasochistic tendencies. Hard for any DS Warrior to resist, but would possibly be a bit problematic in real life) Honourable Mention: Broonmark (yes, he's psychotic, but I have some sympathy for his rather tragic backstory) Least Favourite: Quinn (self-serving, backstabbing, unprincipled, grovelling little worm of a man) Bounty Hunter Favourite: Blizz (enthusiastic, helpful, seems glad to be there) Least Favourite: Skadge (the all-out thuggery soon wears thin) Imperial Agent Favourite: Vector (hard not to like, very respectful, felt bad for him when Daizanna was blown up) Least Favourite: Kaliyo (her anarchy had no point, just violence for violence's sake, got dull fast) Jedi Knight Favourite: Kira (could be very funny, interesting Child of the Emperor backstory) Least Favourite: Doc (Vile, egotistical, cowardly sexual harasser. Should be in jail at the very least) Jedi Consular Favourite: Zenith (the Che Guevara of Twi'leks. Fantastic commitment to his cause, hugely principled) Least Favourite: Tharan Cedrax (Very irritating, not nearly as clever as he thinks he is) Trooper Favourite: M1-4X (very funny send-up of ridiculous, over-the-top jingoism and nationalism. Some of his lines are pure comedy gold. Good choice for a dark Trooper, whatever dubious thing you do he'll approve and think it's "for the good of the Republic") Least Favourite: Aric (unlikable at first, gets slightly better but always had a personality clash with him) Smuggler Favourite: Bowdaar (very poignant backstory, really quite moving, plus he's a wookiee) Least Favourite: Corso (redneck who loves guns, say no more) Overall Favourite: Kira Overall Least Favourite: Doc
  25. That seems like a rather drastic reason to unsub. Maybe you could try making some of your characters polyamorous, that way they wouldn't be cheating, and it's fun too.
