Think it also depends on your companion. Some comps are better at some things than others. Some comps are really bad for holding aoe agro, so there isn't any point to making them try to tank. Need to look at their skill sets and see if they have a flare ability or a aoe scream to hold aoe agro. As others have said trying to level as heals will make things take longer than they should, but its up to you.

This would be nice. You get the conquest pop up for doing literally anything in game. Sell junk, conquest pop up. Use a companion gift, conquest pop up. Place down a decoration, you see where this is going? It spams you for doing anything you could think of.
Sometimes its when you really don't want anything popping on your screen either..

Pretty sure this is the only mmo I have played that doesn't have a real xmas event. But considering that it takes quiet some time to release stuff they need to divide their attention appropriately. Right now they have that All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally in the works(recurring). A real xmas event would probably take as much effort as a new recurring in-game event, but the thing about the xmas event is that it would only be once a year, though they could just make it lasts longer to compensate. So new event that happens several times a year, or one that happens once a year?
But rest assured, the chances of more life day related items being created for the CM is ever present

I'd be all for this. Can take eons to perfect larger SHs, and honestly I get so damn sidetracked when trying to decorate something as big as Alderaan I wouldn't mind something smaller. (getting an idea for one room, going there, getting an idea for another room and dropping what I am doing in the previous room to go there, repeat.)
Also Onderon is nice, its like Alderaan but with sand instead of snow. Though when they make a new SH they are going to want to wow people with the previews, so something small probably won't be what they will be going for.

There doesn't need to be a gear related carrot on a stick incentive for learning the basics of your class. The incentive for learning how to play is being able to play correctly and efficiently so you can be better at doing what you like to do in this game (ops, pvp, ect.). If they don't feel incentivized to do so then those players just won't progress to do harder content.
Besides we already have something like this that they can expand upon that doesn't involve turning training dummies into loot pinatas. The arena on Zakuul has rewards and requires you to know how to play(to an extend, some of it is easy but that's why different difficulties exists) I'd rather them expand on that, make more encounters and challenges that are adjusted to what class/spec you are. So healer/dps/tank have different challenges to overcome that show you know how to play your class/role and get rewarded based on how you did.
Its like the same concept as practicing on a training dummy, but at least this would be an actual encounter and not beating on something that doesn't even fight back that gives you loot.

I only had lag on Ilum, but that stopped when I swapped layers to one that didn't have 90 people on it all in one spot doing the gree event. I did notice some lag on the fleet at first too, then I swapped to a lower pop layer.
I think for the time being try to stay away from others and be on low pop layers(pvp layers barely have anyone)

For whatever reason they made the highest dps comp exclusive for a limited time. With how comps are now(all having similar abilities) they should largely just be a cosmetic thing. Wouldn't mind them just buffing other comps to be comparable to Shea, or nerf Shea to be comparable to other comps.
Edit: I have shea unlocked, its pretty recent that I found out she had way more damage than some other comps. For the longest time I thought it was just cosmetic and that they all did fairly the same damage. Ever since I found out I felt like I was gimping myself by not using her when doing my daily quests and such. Would prefer there not being a meta companion

Its just group content, and its not mandatory to do it. You can solo the heroic 2s once you have a high enough companion and set it to heal anyways. Not everything in the open world needs to be a solo face roll. If you don't want to group up you can do the other dailies available.
Maybe join a active guild?

Is there any way to get the assault hk customization on a boosted character? I hadn't played this game actively in many years and I had a character boost when I came back so I decided to use it. I thought originally that the HK assault customization's came from Yavin coalition rep, but it turns out its from playing shadow of revan(which is completed on boosted characters).
Is there a vendor somewhere I can buy it, CM pack, can it drop from the flash points associated with shadow of revan?

Wouldn't mind having the Imperial and Republic battle droid cybernetics. Would go into the Series-xxx armor sets. They would resemble the customization's for HK that you get after doing some of the Revan story.

Lets add a new series of cybernetics that look like the imperial and republic battle droids. I think it would be entertaining to look like a soldier of the republic and empire, but as the robotic soldiers instead of the living ones for a change. Could be in a pack or just as a straight forward item to be bought, doesn't matter to me. Any other thoughts on this?

He has already returned via one of the alliance alerts you can get. The mission tells you to go talk to pierce and then get a bunch of warzone wins. After you get pierce you get rep with him by doing warzones too. I don't know if he is imp only or not, since you talk to him on dromund kaas to get him to join you.
If you don't see the alert yet then keep doing alliance alerts until it pops up. The description should be something along the lines of getting someone out of their desk job and back into the field. If you're talking about him returning in the story to take on a more noticeable role, I'm not opposed to it. But for the time being you can get him and do a mission for him and he can be your companion, at least on imp side.
