Yeah, Zakuul can be a real lagfest in particular. A lot of fancy lighting there compared to other places. That said it hasn't crashed.....yet, in many hours for me and I'm on the modern day equivalent of a BBC Micro.

Hello, as stated I'm looking for an Imperial guild. Only a few personal requirements: No RP, VERY newbie friendly (I literally started just over 2 weeks ago). I have a fair few L2P niggles to iron out and GF can be a mixed bag (they even get a whiff of nubcake and they bolt). I want to start doing the actual MMO stuff at some point I have only 2 toons on the go currently (Imps at least), a level 70 Marauder and a level 17 BH Merc. So if you're interested in training a nub into competence, sound off! My comp is garbage tier though so 16 man ops are right out.

I can do as I please without Turbo McFastpants trying to dash ahead. It leads to excessive trolling by myself and nothing gets done. That and nobody likes a nubcake like myself. That's the drawback of starting to play a 5 year old MMO. If I can find a nub friendly guild I may do more group stuff but until then I'm on **** PUG mode.

I can't speak for Light side (which given the Dark vs Light, is the popular choice) but Progenitor is pretty active though PvP is nearly deceased. Always people yakking away on the fleet. I believe if you want all the things Red Eclipse is the most populated server in Europe.

Alright thanks. I noticed the Oricon thing too, that's something I'll circle around to later on. I hear that's one of the better ops in the game. I've done most of the HK-51 quest, just need to find people for the Master flashpoint. Just got to near the end of SoR so I'll see if I can get it done after that.

The thing I speak of is making you do many hours of running around looking at stuff only to end with a Heroic ******* 4 mission which I ALMOST soloed except for a positioning SNAFU which ended up with not wanting to repeat a few minutes of god awful platforming to get to the refreshed boss on the Skiff. Seriously the platforming in this this game is a hate crime and whomever is responsible should be jailed for 500 years minimum. Anyway are there any other quest chains that end in a similar fashion and should not be bothered with? I ask because nobody wants to help out if I sound off in the chat.

Thanks. I'm not super new anymore but solid information can be hard to find on specific things, this all helps. I started post level sync but that very thing is actually good as it cuts both ways. Of course it does increase the annoyance of trash mobs.

It's Bioware, they love a good nerf. Also anything that needs fixing but they can't be bothered with will be "working as intended". After many moons of ME 3 MP I know them well. Now I'm new to this game entirely so I likely won't notice but my first toon is a Marauder Carnage guy.............so we'll see what happens.

Not run across that myself. Just ran the two korriban heroic weeklys (never got around to them prior, new player) and facerolled them easily even with the sync. Companion held up just fine (Pierce).

20/07/2017 Guess what? Still a thing. I'll try some things on here.....PITA In my case ramping up the settings AND switching to fullscreen (windowed) got ol' Sithy talking. What and odd bug, I bet it'd be a doozy to find exactly what causes it in that particular instance. My guess is it's an oversight that's too entrenched at this point to fix. Then again Bioware are inclined to be lax with bug fixing, so who knows.

I'll stick a question in here as it's relevant. Do I just need to keep sending companions out to level to the next grade or is there another step required?
