  1. Ah, yes! I have totally forgetten about that. That all but says about what she knows about Theron's love life. And you gotta appreciate Lana intercepting that letter she sent to him about what you tried to do to her. As you said with Jace's reaction, this shows that there is more material that the writers can work with for the romances instead of just weird small-talk and cut to black.
  2. It could be cool if Satele had a bit to say if a Knight or Consular romancing Theron to where she can make a quip about how you're basically the younger version of her but nope... I really wish SWTOR will embrace more of the old times and include them. I see that they are bringing back familiar faces from our class stories but I want the game to take a step further and let the player have their own identity than have this cookie-cutter nonsense. Nothing hurts me more when my SW said to Malora or whoever that she is no longer an Imperial which is absolute bullocks. I never agree to this forced identity of just being this generic commander of an aliance I've never wanted in the first place.
  3. You see, I missed it when the game would go out of it's way to acknowledge small things like that. It makes you feel like that all of your choices are valid. I was hoping for Tharan to comment on my FenConsular in a romance now but nope, since the story is simply now Pub or Imp, the most references you'll get is just class-related stuff but even that is rare. Do the game even acknowledge your gender anymore?
  4. Woah, it's been a hot minute since this thread updated. Since the new expansion is out, what do you fellow Theron lovers think of it? I haven't gotten far on my main but so far on her one scene with Theron... I'm not really feeling it? Like I'm getting a little tired of seeing the same formula of Companion walking up to you >says they love you > kiss or don't kiss > some lollygaging about an activity > Scene over. I would like to see some more development with the romances like maybe a mini storyline to go with them. Not for all companions at the same time as there are almost thirty people to romance in SWTOR now... I rather some development now go into what we have instead of getting more generic dialogue.
  5. Who hasn't returned aside from the obvious Kira and Scourge? Alsd, tackling onto male LI vs female LI debate, did anybody else also notice how the female LI has the most plot significance within their own storylines? The very same guy I mentioned earlier who breaks this pattern once again is Torian. I wish the other writers took notes from the BH writer.
  6. You know, I actually feel the exact same way. Correct me if I was wrong but BH LIs were equal and put on the same level as each other. Torian even has more content than Mako though with the price of him potentially getting killed off. I don't even want to talk about Doc and my problem with Quinn was just how the writing handled the betrayal in vanilla SWTOR. As you said, Theron did seem to be the first sign of things finally going well for non-straight male players. But recent developments had showed us to not be the case. I'm interested in the new expansion that they announced but would be the point of me going through it if Theron is not going to be around like how he was for Jedi Under Siege?
  7. Yeah, the treatment other LI is getting is unacceptable as well. I feel for Koth fans in particular. I think it's ludicrous that he had no lines or even mentions in the Nathema Conspiracy considering that is dealing with the history of his homeland and that both Lana and Theron get special conversations with the PC at the end. Even Arcann has a few lines. I say this as someone who killed him thrice already. Koth was not killed by every single player devs! And there ARE people who romanced him! I actually enjoy the concept of his character and if you go back in the thread a little bit, I ranted a bit about him.
  8. As cool as that would be, I'm sorry. If they can't give Scourge, out of all characters that do have lines in SoR, then I highly doubt that he would make a comment based on a minor possibility. There is just no foresight or callbacks in the writing nowadays as you expect back in vanilla SWTOR. Also, I admit that I thought people in this thread overreacted a bit about the Lana bias the devs have which I did see but thought it wasn't too bad but now it's incredibly apparent and getting out of hand. I mean, really? She gets an entire scene with the PC to herself while Theron doesn't get such thing, it's just "kthxbye" to his lover. That is just off putting and a bit cold for him to do. And other LI? Ha, funny joke.
  9. Hey Theron fans, I'm just curious to see what you think now since the dust has been settled: How do you feel about Theron taking the backseat in the story now? Personally, I do not mind at all but I still want him to be involved with the PC's life. Just because he isn't one of the main focuses in the current storyline right now doesn't mean he has to be written out of the PC's life now. He can comment on what's going on, he can join in on plans, and etc... The point is that we should still be able to talk with him! It's beyond me why don't we have romantic sidequests/story arcs for any of the LI yet. It can really help with the issue of the one minute reunion scene and then never talk to your lover again that many people have currently.
  10. Somewhat related but I wonder why Lord Draag wasn't a flirt option for the FemWarrior one of the two characters with only two flirt options.
  11. Also, how come Theron doesn't react any differently when his lover chooses to leave him behind?
  12. Yeah, as someone else said, it's clear that it's done to appease everyone. I just found it coming of nowhere considering that he had no interest in the male trooper whatsoever until this point. I'm not against though. Is this just going to be the devs plan from now on?
  13. I actually like the expansions too! I just hated playing through them. The grind is painful. I played through it on my SW AND doing it now on my JK. I feel like it goes well with both of these characters who go into the conflict with the Zakuul royal family with heavy feelings. My SW is filled with rage. These people took years of her life away. Hunted her down like a dog around the galaxy with no end in sight, killed and hurt her loved ones and tried to destroy the very empire she held dear. And they had the nerve to hate her for something THEY caused? My Knight is filled with nothing but sadness and compassion for the royal family. She's upset about losing her family and friends but feel even worse for the royal family, torn apart by a man meant to provide them with love, guidance and protection. She will try her damndest to help Vaylin as she did for Arcann but nothing will gurantee that the same method will work... I guess that most people don't bother with the role-playing aspect of the expansions.
  14. Agreed. He has it a lot worse than Theron but I feel like our idiot spy boyfriend is going down that route as well. I've killed Koth thrice (I like l his character, My toons are the ones who hate him.) and even I am miffed with the treatment he has received from the devs. Where the hell was he during the Nathema Conspiracy? There was absolutely NO reason for him to not receive a marriage scene like Theron and Lana. And now, I'm hearing that you don't even get a letter from the poor guy. Devs listen way too much to the vocal hatedoms of certain characters. I honestly felt like the main cast in KOTFE was going to be a quartet consisting of the PC, Theron, Lana and Koth but people hated the latter so much, the devs decided to go along with the trio idea. Koth was a nice fresh of air. He's kind and boisterous but hard headed. He didn't always agree with your character and he let that be known. Devs always wanted your original comps to become be able to leave your character and/or enemies in vanilla SWTOR depending on your relationship with them but that didn't go through. Koth's character arc is the succesor to that idea. He didn't believe Valkorion to be an inhuman monster who devoured an entire planet out of fun because he grew up to know the man as a benevolent ruler who protected him and his loved ones. This is pretty reasonable considering that Koth hasn't even seen this supposedly immoral act committed by his beloved emperor. And I think anyome would be angry to see some random person they just met weeks ago to bomb their home city. Koth is super underrated and he deserves more respect from the fan base and the devs.
  15. I wouldn't mind same-gender romances for original comps. They already did the same for Jaesa and Nadia, Why stop the train now? Somewhat related but Why did they make Jonas suddenly bisexual? Even as a bisexual person myself, I felt this was somewhat strange and out of nowhere.
  16. This is exactly how I felt. I have been sitting on the Ossus quest around a week now and I feel no point in completing it. The game already took away the one character i cared about. The devs said that Theron wouldn't be written out for those who kept him alive but look how they are keeping up that promise now... Also, why would Theron completely abandon his betrothed just for some juicy "intel"? There is no reason why he can't simply just return.
  17. So I just autocompleted the expansions and I do have to ask: How come that there isn't just a story builder where it ask the player what choices they made (or would've done) during the expansions? I was rather surprised that my Dark IV Marauder spared SCORPIO although she would've defintley killed her without any second thought. I actually like the story that the KOTFE arc brought but man, I dread playing through it.
  18. Agreed. Why is my character is supposedly around the same height as Lana gain an extra 8 inches during kiss scenes? And ridiculously enough, I had this happen in non-romance scenes too. I wonder if BW knows a healthy amount of people tend to main female characters.
  19. That little goodbye cutscene with Theron in the new update warms my heart. I think the reason why he and Lana are indefinitely leaving the protagonist is incredibly dumb but I understand why it was done in a out-of-universe sense. I'm not very far in the Ossus storyline. I feel that I don't have much care it for since my two best friends were put on a speeder. Hopefully things will become more interesting.
  20. Didn't think about it until now but I just realized Doc and Quinn are complete opposites. Was this intentional to contrast the Knight and Warrior or just coincidental? I can attest to this. You can most definitely change the pacing of the romance depending on how you talk to him. My Jugg only flirted with him a little bit while my Mara came onto him pretty strong.
  21. I always headcanon that sometime after Nathema, Theron and PC talk about having children sometime in the future. Considering that it's been mentioned that he made several donations to Republic charities in his father's name and mourns him greatly, I thought it would neat and sweet for him to suggest the name of their child to be Jace.
  22. How would you guys do the traitor plot if you were on the writing team? I don't know how I would handle it but I seen this suggestion of Theron actually betraying you if you are DS thrown around a lot. That would be interesting but as someone with a DS character that loves Theron very much and only have a soft spot for him, not sure how well I (or her) for the matter would take it. Would make total sense though.
  23. I was wondering if it would be possible to add a GF just for Heroics and Dailies? Not so much because of difficulty but moreso because of the increase of rewards you can get by being in a group. Also, you just spend less time.
  24. I have my doubts about this as well, through I do wonder if the SWTOR devs can give out life time subs to friends/family if they want like the devs of WoW.
  25. Wait, a thread dedicated to people liking DOC??? What sorcery is this???? I love all of you wonderful people.
