  1. Pretty sure they meant they don't want an ~$18 stronghold, not that they didn't want the stronghold at all....
  2. I also had this issue happen to me but I purchased an additional character designer outfit slot (of course the default is account wide so 300 cc instead of 20,000 credits) and did not get any pop up asking to confirm the purchase. I also made a support ticket and was told too bad. I checked my support ticket record which listed the server and character it was purchased on and just checked her preferences. I assume you are referring to the "show purchase confirmation dialog" setting under user interface>cartel market which she still has turned on. In fact she still has all the cartel market confirmation dialog options in preferences turned on.
  3. I really don't see how this can be a cash grab when they are giving out so many free cc. Lets do a little math here. The season will last 5 months. For simplicity of math lets say each month is 30 days, that is 150 days total. Every 4 days of logging in you get 8 GS points as a sub. so 150/4 days=37.5 log in rewards, so 37 x 8 points = 296 GS points. According to swtorista's guide that will net you 1200 cc....1200 cc for doing nothing but logging in each day (actually less than every day as the last cc grant is at 264 points, so you can easily skip some days). Any objectives you do in addition to that increases that amount. Personally, I play on multiple servers so add that. I don't know why people are complaining so much. Even if you don't care about the cosmetics or rewards you are still getting essentially free money. Yes, there are some objectives that I don't want to do. I am not going to do them for now and I'll see how things go. I don't know how many objectives you can skip and still get to 100 by the end, but I bet I will still get far enough to make this worth my while. None of this is required, it's just a nice bonus (and far more generous than I would have expected in my opinion).
  4. I got this pet on one of my characters pretty recently, maybe a week before Christmas or so? I got it from one of the mobs in the Armed and Dangerous heroic area on Korriban. Swtorista has more up to date info on it, it can drop from many places but it is random: https://swtorista.com/pet/hagnoffarl Edit: I didn't realize this was from 2016 until after I posted. Regardless I'll leave the info in case anyone else is looking for this pet in the future.
  5. The item description specifically says "This will not affect conquest objectives."
  6. Devs said the login rewards would be legacy bound. The other day I logged in on my usual first toon to check the gtn and claimed the fleet com reward. I immediately went to put them in my legacy bank for the toon whose ship I have geared up for the space missions and found no item in my inventory and the 150 coms in that particular toon's inventory tab. The toon that I have spent time running the space missions on could have upgraded to a grade 7 ship component as she has 215 saved up and already spent time grinding for her to get the emp generator and proton torpedo. Instead I have 150 coms that are somewhat worthless (yes, I can start getting her the upgrades instead but it doesn't make sense to split my efforts like that). I can't even use them to buy the fleet com outfits for the cheevos because 150 wont buy the whole set and the pieces are BOP. The fleet coms and certificates were the only rewards so far I was looking forward to so pretty disappointing. I know this is also my fault as I should have erred on the side of caution and waited to claim, but after reading the initial dev posts and seeing everything else be legacy bound it didn't even cross my mind. Just wanted to point out the inconsistency in hopes it could be fixed in the future.
  7. Looks like the Malak Shadow chest piece although in game the cape doesn't go over the shoulders that much.
  8. Just buy what you want now but leave everything in your unclaimed items. Then wait until they announce the next sale. If you decide you would rather spend your cc on the second sale click refund item on what you no longer want. You loose nothing and can spend your cc's on whichever items you'd prefer. Better yet you can wait until the second sale on the 27th to see the specific items before you decide.
  9. Here is the BH armor I believe: https://torf.mmo-fashion.com/crystaline-demolishers-mk-3/
  10. As I understand it (not from personal experience, from reading discussion by others in Discord) the mount still drops on toons that are level 70 and below, but not on toons level 71-75. Like the loot table was not updated for the expansion. Perhaps those of you who had it drop can clarify if you were on a <70 toon?
  11. I have done this boss in a pug group with less than 24 people. This also can be done with less than 24. It was originally tuned for 12-16 people (only a max of 16 cxp packs would drop) but usually people take 24 since you only get one shot at it (and to get more people the cheevos). Not sure if they still drop RXP packs, as all the ones I did after 6.0 did not have any loot for me. If they removed that they should add it back so there is still some incentive for individual bosses. Another issue with DvL bosses is that some get aggro'd and despawn by NPC's. Had a group once on Hoth for one. Summoned the group there and as we are waiting for everyone to finish loading in an NPC walks past and aggros the boss and it disappears. Very frustrating On Satele there are 2 "achievement hunter" discords (that I know of) that formed groups to do a lot of these bosses which is how I got cheevos for many of these (all DT stacks, NP speeder, AT, DvL bosses). I have toons in a large guild there that regularly does Iokath droid when it's conquest, and sometimes does AT and NP (although I have never joined for those runs so not sure how they turn out). On SF I have a much harder time finding groups as there are no similar discord groups (that I am aware of?), but can sometimes find groups in allies. I have 8/10 light DVL and only 2/10 Dark DvL bosses there. I did find a NP pug group a couple times but the group always imploded because there always seems to be 2 competent tanks and 1 that doesn't know what they are doing. Or after the first wipe people drop. Main problem with pugging NP and 10 stack DT is that no matter how many times you explain not to attack when shielded (or bloodmark mechanic for the dog) people don't listen. Only way I found to successfully pug 10 stack DT is to have someone do an op announcement call out every time to stop dps so it flashes across the screen. Ideally you need everyone in a voice chat for those two but with a pug you will always have people unwilling to join random discord VC. Honestly I didn't even know Dread Pirate Kilroy existed until I saw the conquest objective for it this week. Saw a group forming for it in allies this morning but wasn't able to join as I was about to log off.
  12. Main reason to use trade chat is to avoid the 8% gtn tax. It doesn't much matter if you are selling cheap things, but if you are trying to sell something expensive it can save you quite a bit. It is more work but in some cases it is worth it. The other reason I have used trade chat is if I have all the pieces to a set as separate items. If you put them all on the gtn people will buy only one or two pieces and then you are stuck with the bracers or the pieces that don't sell well. You can sell it in chat and get rid of all the pieces at once for a better price.
  13. I haven't done the Dantooine event yet so I don't have any of those, but my completed bounty contracts are still in my cargo holds instead of converted to legacy like the patch notes say. I do have grey helix components and rak dna cannisters listed in my currency tab.
  14. from the patch notes: Fixed a bug where the Galactic Trade Network would not retain filter settings on new searches. Before it was only bugged in my experience for sorting on the unit price category. Logged in to check the gtn and like usual I filter on price. Search for the next item and everything is out of order. reorder by price, search next item and same thing, all out of order.
  15. Gear from crates and such has a +/- range from your current average rating (something like +/- 4 or 6 I don't know the exact number), so you will often get gear that is below your current level. I think the best bet is to use the spoils of war vendor on the fleet at least until you get to 306. It gives you random items but it is pretty much always an upgrade.
