  1. My mistake, and thank you for the heads up Delta_V (learn something new everyday, but that makes perfect sense when I think about it lol)!
  2. origosis is right though, the points are tied to the ship, not the character, so what you said in your OP is wrong... Check the other ships on that character to see if you weren't viewing/using a different ship when you got the points
  3. That's incredible news, additional character slots for preferred players is a huge step forward in promoting the legacy system and alts!! Looking forward to seeing even more improvements to the F2P option
  4. I agree with OP, and the only other thing I would add is possibly giving Preferred (or at least those who purchased a copy of the game, especially those who paid full price for it at launch) access to more character slots, so that all story lines could be enjoyed without having to delete alts.
  5. I agree that 2 quickbars for Preferred Status players is too few, and that even for F2P players, it would take away from the enjoyment of 1-50 to have to be so stingy with your abilities... quickbars aren't a convenience in an MMO, they're a necessity, and the same level of skill can't be expected from players who don't have access to at least the base 4.
  6. Could not agree more... I've been asking for this since early beta
  7. Thanks Jaebe, and I agree, that would definitely be helpful as well! The only advice that I can give those in my situation, having issues finding items like gifts that are specific by type for your companions, is finding the name of the gifts that are most advantageous online and searching for them. That's the only workaround I've found, until a better system is implemented.
  8. Bump! Thoughts? Anyone else feel this may be helpful?
  9. Dear BW, Did a few searches on the forums, and I wasn't able to find any suggestions like this, so please forgive me if it's already been asked for. I was wondering if there was any way to make the searches for companion gifts on the GTN more granular. For example, could an option be added/implemented where a gift type could be selected (i.e. Luxury, Military Gear, etc.) from a drop down, or that when a search for gifts is done, the type could be typed into the search box at the top of the GTN window, etc? Hope this can be done, as it would really help with the affection ratings and GTN usage (at least for me) Thanks!
  10. As mentioned before, and just to reiterate/get my 2 cents in, it's also really important to add the ability to choose what you're queuing for in finer detail, among other options, in the Group Finder. For example, while the tool is great for FPs because people can choose which FPs they'd like to queue for, the same is not true for Heroics... in gen chat last night, I asked everyone why so many people were still LFGing in chat vs GF, and the overwhelming consensus was that they weren't able to choose what Heroics they'd be queuing for, so they'd rather do it in chat... sad part is that, now that we have a healthy pop even on pre-endgame planets after transfers, we still have to archaically find people to group with because choices are limited Also, Bioware recently released news of Ultima Forever, where one of the choices is to "Sacrifice" by leveling down temporarily and helping others; while I understand that these are two completely different games, if stats can be boosted for WZs, could they not be lowered/limited for FPs you've out-leveled, so that you can help others/experience FPs you never got a chance to?
  11. I was thinking about #6 myself last night, and I think that would be very useful
