I guess if you just want to level as quickly as possible it's not a negative. I just found it somewhat jarring that after turning in a quest reward I gained two levels. With all the increased grind they added to the game with this "expansion" it's weird they made leveling as easy as they did. I actually re-subbed to eso after cancelling my swtor sub. I agree with you that the scaling there could also use some work. I find mid leveling in eso to be the most tedious. Early and post 50 you feel good, but around level 20ish till 50 you feel weak IMO.

Picked up that reference perfectly. Well done. As for swtor. I cancelled my sub two weeks after the launch of legacy of the sith. This "expansion" isn't really an expansion. I finished the new story content in about an hour. Two things really stood out to me during this play through. First you level stupid fast. After each mission I would collect my reward and gain 2 levels. Second thing I noticed was that with each level (or 2 haha) that I gained my character became progressively weaker. It was almost comical really. I would wait 6 months for more story to be added and all (yah right --most) bugs to be fixed.

Legacy of the Sith is the best expansion ever...and the players love it.

BioWare, Just Give us back Mod-able Gear
iphacles replied to MaximusRex's topic in General Discussion
This. I probably wouldn't have un-subbed, even with all the problems of 7.0, if the gear had remained fully moddable and I wasn't being forced into certain content to get top gear lvl. -
Not for me it's not worth playing anymore. I cancelled my subscription a couple weeks after 7.0 dropped (Not sure how much time I have left because I paid for 3 months at a time --will probably be soon I think). The devs managed to ruin almost everything I enjoyed about the game. I don't understand the thought process behind most of their decisions. Either way I'm sad -the game was pretty good. Now it's just void of fun.

I left a similar note when I cancelled my sub. I haven't been playing for as long as you. Only started regularly playing for maybe a year (8 or 9 months) I think. I went back to ESO for now. I've been playing MMO's for years and this update is the worst I've ever seen. A bad update/expansion has never made me quit a game before until this one.

True... with Copero and Nathema people will only usually stay if there is a stealth character that is willing to run to the boss / bosses. Umbara is annoying because the train section can be laggy for some and buggy (those turrets with stealth detection that force the team to suicide if someone doesn't know you can't stealth around them stink). SoV is just long and people generally want to do quicker flashpoints. At least that's been my experience doing a lot of the vet flashpoints via groupfinder.

It saved me 15 dollars a month? Seriously tho, I liked the character loadouts, combat styles, shared tagging, and new galactic season.

Cant get passed the Malgus boss fight on Nul/Elom

I killed him without much trouble as well, but I've seen videos of people bugging out during the fight and falling through the floor. -
Why is my Companion so Weak Now? (information as to why)
iphacles replied to DWho's topic in General Discussion
Yeah I made a comment in another companion thread and was immediately labelled a noob that should just learn how to play better. Whoever it was (I don't remember who) made this assumption based only on the fact that I said companions are bad now. I didn't even play a lot of content with companions (I mostly did flashpoints and ops), but that doesn't mean I want companions to suck for everyone. I don't understand why elitist players want to make things as hard as possible for casual players.
