  1. I've been main commando healer for quite some time, doing all end-game content. As a summary before my actual review, I will say what you did to commando is complete injustice. Let's see why. [*]Does the current combat rotation make this experience feel like you are playing a Commando? Why or why not? Not at all. And I am not saying because of lack of defensives, but I will get to that as well. 1. First major flaw is that you removed Reserve Powercell from the class, which is crucial for ammo management as a healer. Instead, I end up without ammo quite fast in even MM Fps, which shouldn't happen. Again, I play nim raids and pvp with this class on live, so I am pretty sure I know what I am talking about. 2. Recharge Cells doesn't work properly even if you select Cell Capacitor utility. It doesn't give extra 15 cells and gives back only about 1/4 of total cells you can have, which is not enough in the endgame content unless you reduce cooldown drastically. 3. Choice between Echoing Deterrence, Hold the Line and Cryo Grenade is one of the stupidest things someone could've thought of. For PvE, it is not a big deal. But in pvp every class needs to have a stun, a way to avoid being stunned constantly (hold the line), and a way to survive if being globaled by enemies. Commando healers are usually focused on quite a lot in pvp, so they basically need all 3 of these to survive long enough to be useful. 4. These changes look like they are focused more on completely nerfing the class so no one would play it instead of making it par in par to other healer classes. 5. Diversion (aka threat drop) is now a choice, which is very bad for healers, since one of the choices is double instant use of abilities. There is no healer who would pick threat drop over that. And threat drop is very much needed as a healer. I did 2 opses and several FPs, and basically had to heal myself all the time because I couldn't lose threat when tank's aoe taunt was out of cooldown. This will be a very large issue in fights like Thrasher, where it is basically a must to use threat drop once you are pushed up the arena, if tank is not there to aoe taunt, or if the aoe taunt is on cd. So, one of the possible solutions is to either give us back diversion as non-pickable, but mandatory skill, or rework how threat works in the game, allowing tanks to instantly get all the threat, like in Final Fantasy 14. 6. As dps commando, things weren't that bad, changes kind of make sense for the most part. Cell management has never been an issue as dps. But, for healer spec, these changes are very, very bad. I really hope you will reconsider some choices, and fix the broken abilities/utilities, like you did with sorc healers. [*]As you’re beginning from level 1, do you feel you have enough abilities that keep gameplay interesting? As dps, gameplay feels ok from low to high level. However, as a healer spec, it is not enjoyable and very lackluster. [*]Are you able to defeat enemies at a reasonable rate? Yes, dps spec wasn't an issue. [*]Do all your abilities feel like they’re working together? No, lack of Reserve Powercell, broken Cell Capacitor utility, and lack of Hold the Line makes the class very slow and not interesting, compared to what we have right now on the Live server.
  2. What negative behavior you had in mind when even thinking about this? You know master loot is the only thing that keeps people willing to invite pugs to some runs. Why would I invite someone to my run I made to get Dreadtooth mask or Brontes Wings for myself or someone else, perhaps a friend, if that random pug that might join could just refuse to trade it to the person the run was created for? I really don't know what drugs you are using, starting from ability pruning, across ignoring players' suggestions regarding crucial bugs in raids, to eventually this pointless change that will only make people less sociable and that will create more mistrust among people. I am so glad I quit this game before all this garbage comes live, even though I still love the game itself.
  3. They nerfed Pilgrim quite a bit, it's easy to do it with pug group now if tanks know what to do.

  6. Funny how almost every point you made here is completely wrong: 1. Reflect is extremely useful in PvE. Not our problem people are stupid in PVP so they can't CC. 2. Mad Dash is one of the best, if not the best defensive in the game. Plus it is one of the biggest signature of jedi knight. 3. Holotraverse is extremely useful in some encounters, just like every other ability. 4. I agree with sniper teleport, it is completely useless. 5. Sages have already too many movability with short cd on force speed. Plus, phasewalk is annoying in pvp, so giving it shorter cd would just lead to less balance. 6. Tacticals are great, you just need to learn to use them with different sets. 7. Saber reflection is good enough as it is now. 8. Hatred is viable even now. Every class is viable. I know Focus guardian who deals more dmg than any Vigilance in most encounters. Plus, Hatred is amazing in pvp because people are too dumb to counter it.
  7. Blade Blitz is one of the most useful DCDs in the game lol. This whole update is garbage, forcing us to choose between 3 of the most important guardian DCDs is pointless. We need all of them for certain encounters. Also, blade blitz is one of the most iconic abilities for guardian. You can't simply remove saber throw and blade blitz and expect people not to complain.
  8. New players have nothing to test here, since they won't be affected. Playing story content still feels the same. However, fi this goes live, it will cripple people who play endgame content, like PvP and NiM raids.
  9. It's not complaining about it because of having to relearn to rotation. It's complaining about it because doing endgame content without key defensives is virtually impossible. They shouldn't make us choose between blade blitz, focused defense and more because we need all of those for some encounters. As one guy suggested earlier, they could just join certain utilities and abilities into passives, to reduce number of active abilities. This system they are making just feels bad.
  10. There is everything they need to know in my previous answer. There is nothing more to say except the current state of guardian class on PTS is complete garbage. And I am not saying this from a casual point of view because casuals won't notice the difference anyway. PvE and PvP potential of this and other classes will completely go down the drain if they go through with this. And to answer your point about language towards devs. They totally earned it. It does seem like this is made by someone who is on some substance. I don't care who they are and what they do. We all have personal lives. And since they are disrespecting us as consumers, they don't deserve better treatment. I've paid for this game for years, and every time some of us raiders complain about something, it either gets ignored, or they introduce a "fix" that no one has asked for. They brought down servers because the mission tracker was not working properly, even if you could complete the mission, and they did that during active raid hours for most people. At the same time, they broke raids so much that bosses attack you from further than they should, which breaks the gameplay, and we still didn't get any fix, nor even a reply to our bug report for 2 weeks now. So yeah, don't lecture me about calling them for what they really are. When they start respecting us as consumers who pay for their product, they will get the same respect back. But hey, I'll be a good customer and write proper feedback so they really notice it: Does this feel like a Jedi Guardian? Please explain why or why not. No, it is complete garbage because you removed everything that makes Jedi Guardian what it is. Is there anything that feels missing or out of place in the combat rotation? Of course there is. There are key abilities missing from every spec and loadout. And the entire "choose 1 of 3 defensives" system is complete garbage. What are your initial thoughts with the effectiveness of the Jedi Guardian against enemies? What effectiveness? You can kill anything with basic attack, until you reach silver and golden mobs, which can't be killed because companions are broken, 66% defensives are missing and there are no interrupts. It feels like playing lvl 2 guardian instead of full lvl 75. How are you enjoying or not enjoying this class? I am not enjoying it at all. Read again, it is complete G.A.R.B.A.G.E.
  11. This is exactly how I feel. I know this is just the testing phase, but judging from the previous experience, most of the stuff that was on PTS was eventually released and put to play. I am not just talking about guardian here. If you did this to the guardian, I can't imagine how you will cripple other classes. My only question is why? Yes, some classes have more abilities than others in rotation, but that can be fixed the other way, not by completely ruining classes we all like. When I saw there is no blade blitz, no focused defense, no saber throw, I immediately knew that whoever thought of this system is either on some chemical substance or completely new to the game, and hence shouldn't even be in position to make these decisions. Then I thought to myself "if they do this with guardians, what will they do with my beloved commando healer?" The point is, why remove something to make it easier for casuals, when they can just not put it in quickbar. Let's be honest, the leveling experience in this game is complete sh*t at the moment. Not because classes are complicated, but because you can go from 1-75 by using only basic attack and without any equipment whatsoever. So, game is already dumbed down, no need to do it further. Now, for hardcore players, like pvp-ers and raiders (like me), removing these abilities is like you decided to cut off our fingers one by one. For instance, if you make me choose 1 dcd ability out of 3 for commando healer, you're basically removing my core abilities. I need all of them for some raid encounters.Unless you intend to dumb down operations even further, even though they are dumbed enough. My whole point is, just let it stay as it is and focus on creating more meaningful content, like more story, more operations, and pvp revamp, instead of completely destroying what you've built for almost 10 years.
  12. Wrong again, you are looking at this from the wrong point of view, more like RP point. Saber throw is extremely useful in pve, especially as tank, because it generates high threat. This entire PTS test they added is completely stupid that I have no words. If they really make us choose between certain key abilities, then this game can go to hell. Perhaps decisions shouldn't be made by people whose hardest content was playing Hammer Station veteran mode. Really dude? your main complaint about this whole thing is not being able to move the chat?
  13. I can confirm it's not just Bestia. Sunder was acting very weird as well. He was hitting from further away and seemed to desynced a lot. On our screens, he would seem to be moonwalking in front of the tank, so it looked like the tank was chasing him, and not the other way around. Also, sometimes he would start running at 5x speed towards people and instantly kill them. Can we please get at least a reply on this. You literally ruined our raid night by doing emergency maintenance because mission tracker was broken (fyi, you were able to still complete the mission, it was just the tracker that didn't work), while we have to wait for who knows how long to fix these core issues. I would say malfunctioning bosses are bigger issue than stupid mission tracker. Wake up bioware! This attitude of yours is why a lot of raiders are leaving the game. I understand a larger part of the community are casual players, but dumbing down the game and breaking things like this without even bothering to fix them is just big "F you" in our faces. We pay for the game as well, and for what? For not being able to play properly?
  14. Exactly what this guy says. The fight is not trivialized at all. It is still tricky to do it because you need to have a specific team composition and still follow 80% of other mechanics, to adjust, as some videos show. Do I think it is wrong? Absolutely not. I killed the boss with normal tactics, and I say this. 99% of other bosses have some cheese mechanic. Is it wrong? No because you are using your class in a creative way to make the fight easier. Nothing wrong with that. You can still do it normally if you want, but finding new ways to deal with the boss is part of the fun. The bigger issue is that some opses are so bugged that you can't even play them properly when they decide to bug on you. Some examples are: - TfB tentacles in 2nd phase not showing slam animation (just float in the air) - Styrak manifestations desyncing all the time, killing the group even if they seem far enough. - Styrak ghosts bugging, not giving knockback, staying alive after wipe, slowing down people who try to do timed run. - Invisible Tyrans - Calphayus constaly murdering people after the wipe, slowing down timed runs - Completely unbalanced 16m Veteran and Master Modes of some operations, such as Dxun and EC - Underlurker desyncing most of the time, murdering people because they didn't press space to jump, and sometimes even if they did The list can go on and on with the amount of bugs there are, and you act when someone finds a very legit way to kill the boss in a different and more creative way than you intended. Yes it is easier, but still not easy to do at all. There need to be more washes, more stims, which still require teams to follow the tactics. Just because people don't use flairs, doesn't mean the boss is trivial to kill. Far from it. I mean I don't personally care about Apex in general, it is by far, one of the worst bosses in the game, but this update is just ridiculous. It would be better if you focused your efforts to fixing gamebreaking bugs in other opses, rather than doing this. But, that's just my opinion as an active player.
  15. I honestly think this is a bad decision. Having multiple strategies to kill some boss is what makes raiding interesting.. By doing this, you're removing our limited ability to have fun with the game while experimenting with different strategies on different bosses. You trivialized leveling experience to be a complete garbage because of lack of difficulty, please don't streamline the only thing that is keeping some of us in the game, which is raiding. Keep in mind that some of us are paying the sub just to raid as well. If you take our ability to spice up the fights and try different things, you simply ruin the experience for us because we would just do the same stuff over and over, and eventually got bored of it and leave. As it already happened in the past with some of the most experienced raiders.
  16. Your point is just absurd. Look at all other MMOs that have even larger playerbase, such as GW2, ESO, not to mention WoW. In all of them, you are forced to learn your class while leveling. Not to mention that GW2 and ESO are heavily story based MMOs, just like SWTOR. Yes, some people would leave, but new people would come, who value the gameplay, as much as the story. A lot of people stroll through the main story, and just leaves after few days of playing because there is no challenge. Some of them I know personally. If you want to play a game where you just click one button, go play Telltale games. MMOs shouldn't be like that. As for ops, SM ops are also nerfed too much, being basically on a same level as Flashpoints, so people won't learn anything there as well.
  17. I don't mean to be rude to people with impaired vision, but there is an option to enlarge the interface if you feel like it. Doesn't mean the rest of us need to suffer because of the minority. Making character screen so big makes no sense, but I can live with that, if they just make amplifier list collapsible. There was also no need to rearrange the slots in character sheet, it was perfectly fine. Putting weapons in between armor pieces makes no sense to me. Also, removing 2 stats on the bottom is a huge minus. With old setup it was much easier to compare stats while building a set. The problem here is that the only opinion devs value is the opinion of people who write on the forums, which are mostly casual players, who most of which don't bother using certain features (such as stats panels for example). They only started listening to the rest of the community now that they broke most of the classes. I saw some people say "Why does it matter you don't get enough stacks " or "you can just press kolto shell 2 times". Thing is, there is no time to do that during most bossfights, every GCD matters. I hope these pressing issues will be resolved soon. Otherwise, there is no point in paying for a broken game.

  20. It's not hard, just requires you to know your class, which is how the entire game should be played, if you ask me. But that's not the fault of players, but devs, for making the rest of the story too trivial, where you can press 1 button for basic attack and finish it. As others suggested, keep your heroic moment and cycle through defensives as best as you can, and it should be easy peasy. P.S. You don't need to pay to play story content, so that is invalid argument.
  21. It is more important to fix FREE story FP shaking camera than end-game PAID content we all play. I'll wait for 2 weeks then cancel sub if they don't fix. No point in paying for broken class balance. Yes, but pressing them twice in master mode content is not optimal, since you can't afford that most of the time.

When you use it the first time on someone, it gives 6 stacks instead of 7, which results in a significant loss of ehps, which is quite important in the hardest content. Yes, you can re-apply it 2nd time to get 7 stacks, but during the actual fight, it is not optimal to do, especially in master mode operations. The bug started to occur after the latest patch. In addition, there are few other classes with a similar bug (roaming mend, recklessness). Perhaps there is more, but this is what I've experienced. Can we please get an update on when this will be fixed? You are fixing things like companion conversations and droid pet names, while core class things, such as this have to wait.
