  1. Well at least this thread has direct attention of the forum moderator so people should be careful what they write here. But yes, to the topic, I see that the people use that wording quite often and some do even go as far as discussing and explaining it. Like they say that if you are bad, low geared etc and keep on quing that you must be "that" since you do not seem to care about the outcome of the warzones and just keep on quing again and again. Maybe this gives them the impression, but still that does, by far, not authorize them to judge you or anyone like that. I mean Autism is a diagnosis, that means that we would have to have expert psychologist playing this game if they are able to judge that by player behavior.
  2. Kinda silly don't yout think? I mean people know Ney is a proggresion raider! Most of the PVPers (mainly the germans on DM) have all operation achievements and stuff, so I really do not get it. This is actually the main issue of 5.10 when you have a few PVPers who actually do raids and will be able to do the new NiM ops for gear and then come to ranked to wreck everyone with 258 gear, gg.
  3. I am glad how the discussion went. Its good to see that similar threads were made in General section. We have spoken our minds, Bioware has over a month to come up with something else or at least correct the rewards so that they take PVPers into account. Lets see what they will come up with.
  4. What is that supposed to mean? I made this thread to show that the way PVPers will be gearing in 5.10 will be unfair in comparison to the PVEers. NiM raiders will get 258 gear much faster than PVPers and can come into ranked and have an advantage over the PVPers who will be slowly converting their UCs per week per toon. This is an important fact since there is no PVP gear anymore. I came to forums to address this and was hoping for people to also stress their unsatisfaction about it. I am glad people did that and now I hope Bioware will change this system so that it will be fair.

For that you need to watch the stream itself, they were talking 90 minutes so they said much more info than Dulfy has published in her notes Charles said that there will be some weekly time limit so that you can only buy maybe a few gear pieces so that the gearing takes weeks even if you have 100k UCs. So if you would be gearing purely from UCs it will take you time and there is also this price increase where it will become too much after a few weeks to buy new gear. This will basically force pure PVPers to go do PVE stuff for faster gear gain.
  7. So the notes on Duflys say: As Charles quickly said, you will be only able to gear 1,2,3 toons before it becomes too expensive to convert the UCs to the new Masterwork Shards. So what is the idea here? You want to make the PVPers only gear a few toons? I mean if I only play the game to PVP will I be limited to have only 3 geared toons? Or spend a VERY long time to gear rest?
  8. This is indeed a very important question. They have answered it thought, but not with much detail. They have said that you will need the new Masterwork Shard currency to get the new gear from vendor and the UCs can be traded in for this new currency. However, they said there will be a limited weekly cap and it will become more and more expensive so in the end you might gear only a few toons before you run out of UCs. This is very bad for pure PVPers in the game as they will be able to only gear several toons and then not be able to gear more.....

  10. So to open the debate again. It seems it has already started. We can see that there are multiple players in top 10 positions who are on servers like Leviathan and Tulak Hord. These players have 20-30 wins and very high ratings. Sure, people will come up and say that those servers now have ranked pvp cause they have merged but its still a good place to wintrade since the pops are not as frequent as on Darth Malgus. I hope Bioware is investigating this on the weekly basis as they said....

Enhancements Alacrity - earpiece, implants, headpiece, boots, offhand Accuracy - Stim, gloves Crit - MH, Chestpiece, pants Augments Earpiece, implants, pants, shoes - alacrity Relics, MH, OH, belt, bracers - crit Headpiece, Chest, Gloves - accuracy We are talking about full 248 gear and 236 augments (you can use the 240, it only adds a bit of stats). This is the build that gives you the 1,3 second global cooldown (due to alacrity stats) and max crit and 110% accuracy. However, for PVP you dont need that much accuracy so you should use a mastery stim instead of a accuracy stim. However this is just one suggestion of many.
  12. Its really too many games where rdps are against melee and also where same classes stack like maras and mandos, even snipers sometimes.
  13. @Eric Huttball is good the way it is, sure, some classes have it better than the others, but people like it this way. Huttball is the best PVP warzone ever in swtor! The changes you suggest will make it into a boring fight like lowbies where only the tanks will get the ball and never pass cause then the ball carrier gets globalled and so so. Really, dont do the huttball changes cause together with the matchmaking the teams will only rely on the tank/healer to do the hard part.
  14. Well not sure how this will look in the game but if you still give an operative, merc or sorc a chance to heal in the end, its not good.... Imagine that the end fight will be an operative vs a sentinel, no chance.
  15. The problem will be that everyone who gets the ball will be a sitting duck. He wont be able to leap, run, stride, but others will get to him fast and kill him. This will cause the carrier to be always the tank (thanks to new matchmaking).
  16. I really dont like the Hinder on the ball carrrier. Sure it does anger me when the team gets a combination of 2 operatives who are able to score 6 points in a matter of seconds, but please consider this also with the changes you are implementing for matchmaking. This will cause the tank to be the main ball carrier for both teams. The match will be quite a stalemate. I know how it is when the team has 1 tank and 2 heals, no one dies and the only thing that helps is roots, stuns, pulls. The tank will never pass the ball, as there will be little point since the catcher will be focused and dies. So with the matchmaking the team will depend too much on the healer and tank in team. Currently huttball is a display of knowing the class tricks, the map and defensives. Yes some classes are better off, yet if it were up to me I would leave Huttball as it is! Lets simply see what the improved matchmaking does to it.

  18. Hi, in general, its double HP of the bosses. however, this actually makes 16M a bit easier in terms of numbers as you dont have double dps (8) you have 10 dps, so you got more. This makes the dps checks easier. In principle there is a bit more damage going out since you have more healers to cover it. Technically mostly only tanks should be taking damage (if all is done well, but not every boss ofc) and there are still only 2 tanks. Its also easier in terms of an extra tank. As mentioned you have 2 extra dps and its easy to take 1 tank 1 dps instead for some NiM mechanics for example.So in general double HP, bit more damage and easier dps. However, in terms of organization its a nightmare to work with 15 other ppl. I am pretty sure some mechanics are a bit different and made easier (Operator IX), but some fights are harder due to many ppl around like Dread Guards. Its a long story to go boss by boss.
  19. Hard to prove that I am a good player here on forums, but yes, I always play the best I can. I know my class, know pvp tricks, etc. Im surely not the best out there, but being stuck in bronze just isnt my true rating.
  20. Yup as the people said, you just cheat your way up. Either do it yourself or buy the service.
  21. The title of this thread says it all. I attempt ranked on a new toon, get 6 wins 4 losses, rating 1300 something and then keep winning and losing which makes go from 1300 to 1400 and back, no change. No change possible unless.... you cheat.
  22. I was leveling toons for Legendary status now and on DM I always qued for low and midbies, always got a pop, had many games, so no idea what Trixxie means.
