i just started playing a month ago and I think Jung Ma is great. I play late at night, and Im Pacific time lol. People seem friendly, and the Sith...on average, seem to be (believe it or not) more honorable than what you'd think. You can tell the base of story-lovers is strong here. Chikami, Sage - Jung Ma

It is time to revive Jung Ma, and I think Guilds should be on tython more often to get players that are new to really love the game more

Haha after doing some serious thinking, and being a huge lover of stories and lore. At first I threatened myself with unsubscribing once i reached KOTFE, simply because Nadia may not return in canon. OR she may not return for quite some time. I have made a new resolve. I will simply play/fight keeping in mind that i am fighting FOR Nadia and my older companions, while i fight Alongside new companions. They'd approve of that I'm sure. ^^ I also plan to do other things, in homage to Grell and my former companions. - Resolute sage, Jung Ma Server.

Well actually, I play Sage and one of the best companions for dependable combat is Nadia, -- I hear that she won't be part of the story until MAYBE a while after ch. X

I agree. I would have rather waited until KOTFE could include the stories of older companions, vs. just releasing it with new companions. I mean, there is plenty of content to enjoy on SWTOR including Hutt and Revan stories. Plus legacies etc. We aren't League players or Warcraft players, we don't care for JUST new stuff, we like stories, and that means connections to our past (companions) -- more than just some dialogue. Until then, for those who have already started KOTFE. Just pretend that always, in the back of your mind and in your heart, you are fighting FOR your old friends, ALONGSIDE new ones. I'm sorry but it won't matter much if you plan to plan the KOTFE expansion. Virtually none of your old companions are usable until around chapter IX of KOTFE.

Yes, it seems unfortunately the Devs plan to push some players off the sub list, and/or off the game entirely by doing this. They chose to kind of make something new and appealing vs. something new and all-encompassing. We all got attached to our older companions yes, and it would have been fine if they could just explain via Lore or storyline Where some of them had gone. For now, best advise is to save KOTFE for later until these issues can be resolved. Meaning, un-subscribe after Revan storyline. -Jedi Sage, Jung Ma Server

I'm still finishing my main storyline and haven't done Hutt, or Revan. I hope by the time I get to KOTFE, the old companions will have a chance to be more part of the story, earlier, rather than later.

I am glad that there seems to be ways to get companions like Grell back. I am also glad that I'm still finishing my main storyline as Sage on Corellia. Maybe by the time i get through Hutt and Revan, kotfe will be more fixed and smooth-lined. With more roles for old companions instead of treating them like -- "Aw you wanted your old toys back? Here ~ " They aren't toys in the mind of many of us who enjoy the story. We're not League players, or warcraft players, we're Star Wars versions of FF players lol we crave story and it makes the MMORPG so worth it.

You know you can always dismiss your companion so that when you log in, or do anything, they're not walking next to you. lol

I agree. Countless players would be bummed to know that they're being forced to use new companions WITHout an option to use old ones which they had gotten used/attached to. It would defeat the purpose of storytelling. Allowing both old and new companions would help players play longer (sub longer), and attract new players. SO PLEASE LISTEN BIOW and GAME DEVS. <3

Actually you'll find that Dropped gear/armors tend to compete with Orange modified gear. I have orange gear right now that is heavily modded, and still barely under the stats of a dropped armor set I found. It's very frustrating because I cant get higher leveled items at modification vendors anymore. I guess I better learn to synthweave.. But anyway, yes data crystals are useful for modifications, and also the Common Data Crystal (and higher level crystal) vendors opposite of the main vendors at the Fleet.
