  1. She couldn't cope with the Agent dying and having to face her feelings in consequence, so she had to rationalize it in her head as if he left her behind in an elaborate plot and she was the victim, that way she could just be angry and pretend to move on, so yes, denial.
  2. Won't be fixed until atleast the 28th now
  3. When can we expect this to be fixed? That'll teach me to mostly play humans I guess because it's affecting them and not other races it seems
  4. Jadus of course, just the aura of mystery and creepiness surrounding this guy.
  5. It's the opposite for me with Mako, my BH is well in his thirties even during Chapter 1 and then I found out Mako was like 17.
  6. My theory is that he's sick and tired of all factions and heroes tracking him down and trying to kill him, so he's rooting for us the Outlander to win, to be seen as a galactic hero and a legitimate ruler with a good PR, and then take over our body and impersonate us, somehow faking his death to everyone else who knows he's in us. I really don't think devoring the galaxy was ever his plan, he already told us the Sith Empire was just a distraction so he could have said that just to intensify the conflict and keep his true goals away from everyone's attention. Also it was a pretty damn stupid motives only good for a one dimensional cliche vilain and I think Bioware realized that, hence the reset button with Valkorion instead of Vitiate, same but different. He's already much more interesting when he's not babbling about killing everything.
  7. Ah my bad, I thought KOTFE was set in 3635 BBY and that Makeb, SoR and forged alliances all happened in the span of 1 year or so in 3640.
  8. I know right ? Looks like he would rather play all day with his lightsaber and stay brooding on his throne than try and take care of things.
  9. I don't even waste time playing the expansions with non force users since SoR. It's frustrating because my favorite class is the agent, but I'm just completely thrown off by this story with him and my other non force users toons.
  10. When Marr said him refusing to kneel was a mistake I found that highly suspicious too.
  11. According to Wookiepedia she was born in 3699 BBY on Brentaal IV, which would make her 64 at the time of KOTFE
  12. A little too old for my taste after the expansion
  13. What about that time Senya made the Outlander fly across the battlefield ? He's taken by surprise, does that mean our character is weak ?
  14. Unbiased opinion : Imperial agent no doubt. Biased opinion : Sith inquisitor.
  15. I have one for each, more or less detailled depend on which one, but usually I just add generic stuff I can think of like birthplace, age, family relatives, personality and trivia, while staying true to the classes storyline (I don't RP online at all). I skip the rest because I'm way too lazy to come up with very elaborate backstories. None of my toons are related in any way. What I came up with so far : SI Sorcerer, Human male, Neutral, 17 during Prologue : A prodigy of the Force. I tied his backstory with Kallig's heritage, basically long ago Kallig's family fled on some backwater Republic planet to avoid the Empire's punishment during Tulak Hord's reign. Having lost everything, the next two thousands years or so are spent as nobodies, farmers, merchants, maybe a few ephemeral Jedi because of the family sensivity with the Force etc.. It's like that until the treaty of Coruscant, during which the planet authority was given to the Empire, which then enslaved the lower class, therefore including my SI and his family. They were all separated and his whole family died-off after a few years, months before the start of the prologue he was sent to Korriban to raid the tombs along other slaves, and that's when his force sensitivity was discovered when he tortured and killed in cold blood an imperial supervisor who kept harrasing him by using lightning to fry his butt . He's eccentric, inquisitive and very cryptic. A typical sith at first glance, what distinguishes him from his peers would be his complete lack of interest in power struggles and Sith politics, instead devoting all his time (when he's not caught in a life or death situation) researching about ancient artifacts (due to his time as a slave and then acolyte tomb raider in Korriban, an activity he grew to love above everything else) and various scientific fields. He is kind to his servant Khem and shares a close relationship with his fellow passionate archaeologist Talos Dreillik. No romance for him, too distant. After this one it goes significantly shorter and less developed. JK Guardian, Human male, LS, 20 during Prologue : The second of four children from a middle-class Correlian family, he joined the Order at the late age of 11 because I imagined some kind of battle for custody going on for years between the Order and his clingy parents. He's cunning and thoughtful but also hot tempered and somewhat ambitious, which go against what people would expect from a Jedi. He hides his contempt for the Code, which he mostly sees as rubbish, by keeping up appearances, but he's still a maverick who will do things his way. He likes to paint and his name is Elias. He romanced Lana because he likes her shy and secretive temperament and has a vitriolic best buds relationship with Kira, to a lesser extent with Scourge. IE Operative, Human male, DS, 25 during Prologue : Born into wealth on Dromund Kaas, he has a Sith older sister and his parents were renowned entrepreneurs. Highly pragmatic and patriotic but not fanatical, he's pro alien but has great disdain for Sith and force users in general, a sentiment who goes way back before everything happening in the storyline, he isn't dumb enough to show it though. Kind of a womanizer, while his professional life is well-ordered and stable, his personal life is the complete opposite, he is notorious for it. In a relationship with Kaliyo despite the clash of personalities, the very weird kind. SW Juggernaut, Pureblood male, DS, 20 during Prologue : Another one born on Dromund Kaas from a very long and prestigious family of force users. He's a snobby elitist plus a racist who looks down on everyone who isn't as strong as him. A spoiled, arrogant and utterly ruthless bruiser, bred and raised by sadistic sociopaths for war since he was a toddler and turned out accordingly. He hides his keen intellect and tactical mind behind a brutish facade to bluff and intimidate his enemies. He romanced Jaesa but merely sees her as a servant here to fulfill his every desire. Smuggler Gunslinger, Human male, DS, 28 during Prologue : Wasn't very original with this one, his VO is so perfect for the likeable scumbag angle that anything else feels jarring to me. He's an opportunist, a greedy risk-taker from the Core Worlds who's been doing dangerous deliveries for a while now, he just loves flying and shooting things. Settled with Risha, for now. BH Powertech, Rattataki male, LS, 32 during Prologue : He commited his first murder on his brutal homeworld Rattatak at age 9. He's gruff and not very talkative but acts according to a code based on professional ethics, because no one wants to hire a crazy gun for a well paid job. He's quite honorable, acts like a mentor to the youngest members of his crew and is an all around nice guy, if you don't count the whole hired killer stuff. No romance because Mako is too young for his liking. Trooper Commando, Zabrak male, LS, 25 during Prologue : A military brat, fearless in battle and a leader of men. Gregarious, loud and laidback on his free time. Born on Iridonia, he traveled a lot in his youth before enlisting for the Republic Army, ranking first in the Academy on various specializations and serving early tours in the Outer Rim, after which he was transferred to Ord Mantell to join the Havoc Squad while still a sergeant. Romanced Elara and lived happily ever after (not really ). JC Sage, Twi'lek female, LS, 23 during Prologue : Basically the most pure, wise, noble and good natured Jedi around. Raised by the Order, she was born, then abandoned near a Jedi Temple and was found to be force sensitive very early in her life. No romance because Jedi Code to the letter etc.. Wow, never wrote that much on this forum.
  16. I'm not talking about killing everyone you try to recruit, there's plenty of npc who would work fine under a darkside Sith, it's not like we can act like one anymore. Well I would agree with you purely on logic, but the magic of SWTOR storytelling makes it so that you can very well play that kind of character and survive to KOTFE just fine. From that, does that mean Bioware assumed their designed alignment choices and the mentality that goes with it wouldn't make sense anymore in KOTFE context ? That's a possibility, after all, everything you did prior to the expansion isn't very important anymore so your PC personality pre-KOTFE shouldn't be either.
  17. I think that's the main complaint here and I understand that. I personally don't care much because my main is the neutral kind of Sith, so he won't zap everyone for the slightest offend, but yeah if my SW was my main for example, no way he would let Aric talk like that. But first, him talking back to us is totally expected and appreciated because he's Aric, that's not the problem, maybe it is for some but that's not the real one here. The problem is the lack of options for confrontation, why would we have to suck it up and do as he say just because he's in command ? Since when is it an excuse ? Remember Black Talon with darkside choices ? The reason is simple, only because he's a vital part of a future chapter, nothing else. I have 0 qualms against sabotaging his own mission/take command of it, kill or injure him for his attitude, AND THEN suffer the consequences later on a future chapter, because that's the EXACT definition of 'choices matters'. Maybe it's dumb, maybe it's not cunning or thinking about the bigger picture, that's just the mentality of my SW, he was smart enough to survive until that point but he's not a mastermind thinking 100 steps ahead, he's driven by his emotions first of all. YES he should be punished later for that mistake in the story but NO I should not be forced to play a certain archetype of character because it's the only one that fits this story. Instead here it's just "oh wait, this guy is important for something later on that my pc is not even supposed to know yet , I guess I have no other choices but treat him right". That would need more branches paths for the story and I guess that's not an option, but then don't give us the illusion of choices again. Anyway, that's just the classic Bioware storytelling style that we love and I'm enjoying it so far, even if as always, the real problem is that it's advertised as something it really isn't.
  18. She has an elitist opinion because she thinks Jedi are better at everything, which is wrong, and should therefore call the shots for the Republic, not just protect the weak.
  19. I've never romanced her on any of my male JK toons, she's gone through so much and yet she's still so reckless, that attitude towards the non-force soldiers and all ? Unacceptable. Jedi are not made for politics and ruling, she should know her place better. She joined the order very late so I guess that's her excuse, she doesn't fit in much with the Order. I would love her as a Sith though for sure.
  20. I know I'm gonna get roasted considering the unconditional love for partners around here, but my sole request would be to have less companions focused chapters and more story focused ones. I'm tired of Bioware playing on the nostalgia and neglecting the actual story. I want to learn more about the Eternal Fleet, the Gravestone, Zakuul history etc, and having entire chapters consecrated to recruiting long gone partners just feel like a waste to me. Make them part of it, sure ! But not the whole focus of the damn chapter. Chapter 10 and 11 were awfully boring for me because I didn't care at all about meeting back Kaliyo or Jorgan and there was nothing else story wise to keep my interest.
