13 year mmo vet , tried all the big name mmos out there including being top 30 in the usa in WoW. I love swtor and i'm sticking around for a long time to come. It's definetly a great game , awesome pvp , pve and i can't wait for the additions in 1.2! The game lived up to everything i was hoping for so far. Some of you might be young and not sure what to expect in mmos? I see alot of hate on these forums and i can only speculate that they are due to younger gamers. Couple tips. If you are having trouble getting groups, FORM ONE! it's not hard. Take initiative. You may speculate somethings don't work or you don't just understand your class and how to play it the games not broke, DO SOME RESEARCH!. .

It was needed. Also you must be new to mmo's? Get used to nerfing. Every class will experience it. Pyrotech is a bit crazy atm for merc and pts. Ghosttown on our server is capable of 700k dmg in a voidstar which is about 300-400k more damage than anyone else. If you don't think that's broke then you are dillusional sorry to say. Your class will still be very good when this is fixed don't sweat it to much. No reason to cancel sub lol.

My guild Rutilus Nex kills this on a weekly basis on 8 man nightmare difficulty rutilusnex.guildlaunch.com Phase 1 is pretty simple no need to explain here. Phase 2 Have the raid stack up in the middle with the tank on the opposite side. Have one person , preferably your sorc healer who is spec'd into instant bubbling call out who is targeted with the orbs in voice chat and also throw a sorc bubble on them immedietly. The two people who are targeted run through the boss into a V shape pattern and decide whos lightning orb is whos. Soon as a person is selected to be thrown into the air you are safe to pop your lightning orbs. Make sure you pop any defense cooldowns you have or hit your rakata med pack for extra health before popping these orbs. Sometimes they can double tick resulting in higher damage than anticipated. For this very reason i have my low health , armor people like sorcs use endurance stims for this fight. Sometimes our inquisitors can just sprint through the orbs (works now they fixed it) and not take any ticks. Now the 2nd orb pack that comes out you can pop immedietly soon as you decide who it's on and they have sorc bubbles and personal cooldowns used. The third orbs that come out you want to wait to pop them again due to him throwing someone up again. It goes throw, mindtrap , throw mind,trap every other orb spawn. As far as the person being thrown into the air make sure no one pops an orb in the middle near the boss. If the tank is targeted with an orb he is safe to run out and pop the orb like anyone else. Also in phase 2 your tank can be put in a mind trap , we had an off tank assassin just go into dark charge stance right away and tank the boss for a few seconds while we broke the tank out. Also in phase 2 you want to wait till no one is in the air to push the boss over to 30% transition phase. Wait till the person lands and then push the boss past 30%. You may have to stop dps entirely. Phase 3 same thing stack in the middle unless the drill is coming down there. Take care of mind traps and orbs till the boss is debuffed with the drill. You don't have to worry about anyone being thrown in this phase. The tank can still be put into a mind trap though. People take care of their orbs is priority then boss dps 2nd priority and mind traps third. This strategy eliminates alot of rng in the fight. It still sucks when a healer is thrown and another healer is put in a mind trap. Good time for the tank to use cooldowns and any people with heals to help heal the tank till at least one healer is out. Good luck to you! Rutilus Nex of The Twin Spears Server

Im a marauder full rakata and valor 65. I had a blast pvping and playing my alt over the weekend. Playing an assassin dps for my alt and its a ton of fun. I really enjoyed ship missions and upgrading my ship also. I think i went from 17 to 23 in two days. What fun! Cant wait to get my alt to 50. Also anticipating new content soon especiallly new warzones and the legacy system. Im currently legacy 19. The server population on twin spears seemed very robust. I could hardly move without being next to another player. Just seemed very alive. No problem finding a group for athiss. Took me all of 10 minutes to put a group together. Big thing for getting groups is taking initiative and leading one. Join your servers lfg channel and / who lfg on top of shout outs in general chat and you shouldnt have a problem. I do look forward to a lfg tool in the future. I know they are working on it. Im an avid gamer. I own all the gaming systems. Even bought a vita the other day which im loving. Theres a few games ive bought like reckoning, resident evil revelations, and my 5 vita games that just arent getting much play time cause i cant break free from swtor. Looking forward to the next content patch. Great job so far updating and fixing bugs weekly. Being an mmo vet for 10 years now i havent seen a company so agressive in fixing things on a weekly basis. Vader was the chosen one. He killed the emperor and restored balance to the force. Even tho he was dark side to begin with he ended up coming to in the end and killing emperor. Most powerful though, i'd have to say Sidious.

They have said several times that this content is entry level to start. You obviously didn't pay attention. There's a patch coming in march with more content. Until then take some aderol or something? Also the pvp set looks amazing the pve set i dislike the shoulders only.

Sure let's just bring a 2nd tank for frigen 8 man and work around the bugs and just let it fly. LOL fix this!

SO pvp fixes happen right away. Why has SOA been bugged since launch>? SOA is still 1. Throwing the main tank into mind traps! This is huge can't have the tank losing threat in phase 3 when you need to line him up with the pylon!. 2. Last night we had the urns that you kill the yellow balls in not removing the buff from soa going into phase 2 even tho we killed them all jumping down. 3. Battle res's sometimes not working. The biggest concern is the tank being thrown into mind traps. Once this happens threat is transfered to another raider and they usually end up dying. It just seems like a bad encounter all in all for an end boss fight.

This person is trolling. I'm a battlemaster and i hardly ever break 300k. On a good match i barely make it over. One time i hit 400k but that's it. As for healing 30-50k on a good match. Troll on...

The bug is only for hard mode and nightmare , normal drops were fine.

Operation loot on hard mode seemed to be bugged for us tonight. Dropping only tokens and schematic. We killed the first boss in karaggas and ev and both dropped just tokens and schematics. Please fix and reset our raids?

We only got tokens and schematic in hard mode tonight on bonethrasher and the first boss in ev, those are the only two boses we did. We thought maybe ev was bugged so we went to karaggas and same ****. How many bosses dropped only schematic and token for you? both did for us/.

We are only getting a single schematic from the first boss in ev on hard mode. This a bug since patch? Bonethrasher on hard also only dropped a schematic and 1 exotech glove.... anyone know?
