I am returning after a year break from this game. (I really got tired of the PT nerfs) .....Anyway, can someone give me a good direction to start in a viable build at this time ? I am strictly a pvp player and have only played pyro until they nerfed TD range. Ive seen some talk about AP with ION ? I cant imagine this could be any good at all in the state of this game that i remember. Thank you.

It is the fact that the entire spec revolves around one ability and the fact that the ability is free of heat. Thats what the big deal is. If you do not understand what a huge nerf it is then you dont know how this class operates in pvp. Burst kills. Period. This is a huge nerf to our burst dps. On a side note. Do forum mods not ban for trolling anymore ? Or do they not do that when it is an opinion they disagree with ?

Ive played this class to level 50. Pvp'ed to level 60+. This takes a lot of time and dedication. Now once ive done this, BW says "ohhhhhhh we're sorry your class is too powerful and we need to gut it because this is not the class we wanted as top dps. Sorry about your bad luck kid. Reroll." Im sure there are others that are fed up with MMO's pulling the carpet our from underneath your class and leave you trying to pick up the pieces. I for one am not this time. They seriously dont realize the time and effort we put in to gearing up in Battlemaster Eliminator ? Just to have them wreck the only reason to take eliminator in the first place ? Its careless to treat paying customers this way. Im out if 1.2 goes live with this pyro nerf. Anyone else ?

Interesting build. Seems like the HE might negate the CGC damage, and have better heat manage then more popular pyro builds. Have you tried dropping Intimidation in favor of Pneumatic Boots ?

Do not make it sound like they are doing us a huge favor for EGA. They do it for one reason and that is to boost sales. Plain and simple.
