Best thing anyone selling can do now is pull it and hope they let them swap it out to something not BoP to sell later. Not sure I agree on making it BoP, hear me out cause it doesn't effect me at all, just trying to see all sides... I think if your current Phantom chest guard isn't bound, the new one shouldn't be either, just to cover the "holding it for a friend" aspect or all the people who bought cartel packs after seeing what these things were going for on the GTN (doubt they'll sell quite as well now), there would still be some loss incurred otherwise. Really, an even exchange of the item in question with some kind of credit voucher for mod extraction costs would be the most comprehensive (if complex) way to go about this. Yes, they'd be injecting a little more creds into the system, but no more than say, the money we got in lieu of recruit gear. Edit: Or, heck, let us eat the extraction cost, if someone's got their end game mods in, they probably have the credits to get them back out again.

Yes, please. And maybe also add the "old" piece to a future cartel pack set so that people can still get it in the future, I would feel bad for the future people otherwise. ...Future.

Oh wow, yes, argument won right there, this impending change should not have laid buried in the forum for a month while they all went on vacation and people made a killing off the gear on the GTN.

I honestly think they'd pay more attention to it if we filled up a whole forum page with these threads, rather than distilling them into one easy-to-ignore thread.

This. Verbatim, all points. Blew all of my cartel coins trying to get both of these on random drop, then a ton of credits finally buying them on market. Not to mention what it's going to cost to pull my mods if this is a permanent change. I feel inclined not to play at all until this is addressed.

Well the Vanguard would give you options to respec as either tank or dps, whereas Sent, you're locked into dps. And after playing Warrior, gotta say, the Knight's story is... Painful. Only played Trooper to Tat so far, but it really reminds me of SW the way it's structured, right down to getting your healer early. Now for a completely unbiased opinion: Marauder

I honestly prefer the phantom chestpiece without the shoulder pads. So much Inquisitor gear is completely hideous, but this is something I could actually wear on my Marauder or Agent and not feel ridiculous.

Already got mine. It comes with like 4 books worth of instructions, incredibly fun to put together. Not terribly sturdy though. The wing flaps fold out when not in locked position, which is awesome.
