  1. All of this, because you also have a throne on Odessen? Honestly get over it. We got it, you hate the Zakuul storyline. But about now people are over that and focusing on the next storyline. Making a wall of text because the throne was on Odessen just seems ridiculous, honestly.
  2. It looks amazing! I really like what you did with the place. The prison was definitely a very original idea.
  3. Overall you should always play what you like the most. You won't have a problem unless you're doing nightmare mode and even then if you are well geared, you can do it. Even though they are the worst specs they still do enough damage, being the worst only means that there are others that do more damage.
  4. The worst comps are definitely Skadge, Koth and DS Jaesa. They are all so one-sided, boring and bland.
  5. Also, it doesn't make much sense. Lana Beniko is the only companion who has been through everything with you. Never betrayed you and always obeyed your every command. She is literally the most loyal friend you have. She even allies herself with the Republic for you. This is why I never understand why someone would want to kill her. I mean I understand you might not like her personality or her character...but after everything she has done for you, including saving your life multiple times, you'd think people would be somewhat grateful.
  6. That isn't the point. You don't get congratulated for killing flesh raiders. You get congratulated because you saved Tython from Bengel Morr a dark Jedi who was using the flesh raiders as an army to seize the planet and for saving Master Orgus. You also make an alliance between the Kalikori Village and the Jedi. Consular's story doesn't touch on that subject because it wouldn't make any sense for both stories to work around it since the Knight ends the threat. About the " worst situations a Jedi can face" I wasn't talking about the flesh raider threat, but talking about falling to the dark side. Also, my point still stands about the fall to the dark side.
  7. This isn't completely true. When you arrive at Tython you are basically a nobody..you only start getting called a hero after saving Tython from the Flesh Raider threat. You don't just arrive on the planet and have everyone bow to you for simply existing like you're trying to imply. You also go through one of the worst situations a Jedi can face. So no, the Knight story isn't just amazing oohs and ahhs. You get beaten down as well. I won't deny the story itself is a big cliche, though.
  8. Knight is the best republic story IMHO. It's basically KOTOR 3 and has quite a bit of variety of choices and companions ranging from an astromech droid to a sith. It's also the story that makes the most sense for KOTFE and KOTET. The only problem really is that the story has quite a few cliches. Smuggler is next. You can basically be anyone you want...A loyal republic privateer or a bloodthirsty pirate. The story is worth it just for the snarky remarks the smuggler is constantly making. However, in terms of the actual story, it's pretty irrelevant, since you don't do anything too important. The Trooper story starts with an interesting plot, but after chapter I, it loses its originality and becomes pretty normal. But if you like war stories it's decent enough. The simple fact that Jennifer Hale is the voice of the female trooper should make you want to play it, though. Unfortunately, the consular is the last one for me. It's a good story, but when you compare it to the others, it just can't hold its own against them. I mean the premise of the story is pretty good, a loyal Jedi who is strong with the force and saves the republic by saving the Jedi from a plague, uniting the core worlds and defeating the emperor's children. That sounds amazing, right? Well, it is, but when you are playing it doesn't really feel amazing. The boring voices from both consulars and the bland companions certainly don't help it either.
  9. If you have already started Ossus, you can't complete the original story's quests given by your companions anymore...so the only way to get the bonuses is creating a new consular.
  10. If you actually had bothered reading my comment, you would have noticed that I said that. I said that the only difference was that this wasn't an expansion. Also, yes I consider this content...you got an entire planet to explore, new datacrons, new decorations, more than 10 dailies, quite a few heroics, 2 world bosses, a bit of story and new gear. Now is this amazing and should we all be thankful? Hell no, at this rate they should have dropped another expansion already. But you can't just call an entire planet worth of content useless, because you only do pvp.
  11. Another thing I don't get. Why come here and stir the pot if you consider this a dead game..like what's the point? Are you that lonely? If you don't care just leave..why are you playing a game you don't like? You make me remember of all those people who unsubscribe and make a post about how much they hate the game...and everyone is like we don't care just leave. This just makes me think you don't actually know how MMOs work. I mean almost every single MMO out there does this. New expansion means new gear and new ways to get the gear. Gear you need to grind for ofc..bc you know this is an MMO...and with this comes ofc new content that gives you new ways to get this gear. You're literally complaining without any reason. The only difference is that this isn't an actual expansion. And let's not even talk about SWTOR being a dead game bc that is a whole other level of BS.
  12. Just no. SWTOR isn't and never was pay to win. At first, I thought you were just another troll...but you're actually for real. The problem here is that you don't know what a pay to win game is. A pay to win game is a game that gives a relevant advantage to a player who pays, putting player who don't at a real disadvantage, which SWTOR doesn't. Any player that hasn't spent money in SWTOR has just as much chance to "win" at the game as any who player who does pay. The level 70 boost, the experience boost and the cxp boost are all in the same category, they help you get to the point where you can start "winning", BUT they don't win the game for you. So, no, SWTOR isn't pay to win.
