  1. Is there some reason why there is no PvP instance on Zakuul?
  2. Good! And hopefully many more new threads will be posted. This combined with the countless merger threads might actually get them to do something. After all, it has been Bioware's track record to give in to the whiners.
  3. Now that I agree with. I would prefer a merge, but apparently there must be some issue preventing them from doing it because it would appear that the merge just isn't going to happen. It's not much of a solution, but at least a free character transfer is something.
  4. Hehe well that's a personal problem. I can't help you there. I stand by what I said. All transfers should be free.
  5. Since there's probably never going to be a server merge to help solve the extremely low population problem, and given the fact the game doesn't have the ability to do cross-server queuing, it seems like the very least you could do is give us free unlimited character transfers. That way we can transfer to any server we want at any time we want when there is word that action is happening on another server. It's not like you're going to lose out very much money than you are already losing on players un-subbing. I'm not about to spend any personal money on cartel coins so I can transfer my character to another server, and I doubt very seriously there's very many, if any at all who would do the same. You might actually keep a few potential un-subbers from un-subbing if you made all transfers free. It's not as good as a server merge or cross-server queuing, but at least it's better than this stagnation we got going on now.
  6. You can blame that on poor game design.
  7. Hehe, by making another disposable MMO. There are so many games out there being released all the time, it really wouldn't be feasible to keep a game going for more than 5+ years. It's called competition. Our "free" market system at work. There's over 7 billion people on the planet. 10s of millions of those people play video games, all of whom demand better and more entertaining content, so they're naturally going to move on to the next game that looks better than the one they're already getting bored with causing that game to dry up fairly quickly - like this one. So yeah, they're definitely going to keep their jobs. All they have to do is just keep cranking out more disposable games which includes disposable MMOs just like SWTOR, because lets face it, that's all this game really was from the very beginning - just a disposable MMO. I'm pretty sure the developers were aware of this from the very beginning. I mean obviously. Look at their attitude and response to players' concerns since release. Their indifference is astounding, almost robotic.. So yeah, I'm pretty sure there's more money to be made my developing disposable MMOs than making a major epic game that players will play, enjoy, and stick with for many years. They'll squeeze every dime they can get out of this game that loyal players are willing to spend until the servers finally dry up and is no longer feasible to keep the servers up, and then just move on to the next MMO and the next and the next.
  8. Actually, given that there will probably never be a server merge and given that there definitely will never be cross server queuing, character transfers should be completely free!
  9. Wow! I didn't realize people still played ranked. Interesting. So just out of curiosity, what's the wait time these days?

    Dead?

Yeah the PvP servers have pretty much become ghost servers. I finally had to just transfer to a PvE server to get more PvP action. I actually get more open world PvP action on the Shadowlands than I did on the Bastion right before I transferred. If they do a server merge then it would only be fair to give us free character transfers for all our characters so that those PvP players who left the PvP servers looking for more populated servers are able to transfer back to the PvP servers.
  11. Since there obviously never will be cross server queues, I strongly feel that all character transfers should be FREE!
  12. Because there's not enough PvPers in the game. The wait times would be way too long for certain warzones. The reason there's not many PvPers in this game is because there is not enough PvP content in this game. Other than warzones there is no PvP content. If it wasn't for the Star Wars genre and what little open world PvP we do have I would've quit and never come back about 6 months after the game was released. But apparently they have just barely enough to keep me playing. Yeah Bioware failed big time with the PvP in this game. If PvP was such a low priority why didn't they just leave it out. It probably should've never been put in the game. Maybe I'm just spoiled from the PvP that was in Star Wars Galaxies. Hmmm, no that can't be it. Bioware just didn't add any PvP content, and has clearly, blatantly, and intentionally refused to add any. Meh, oh well.
  13. aaaaaaaaaa Yeah I don't fall into that category. I'm not concerned with what class they are. Just as long as they're red. Hehe that's cool. At least you're getting what you want. I never play these warzones to win. I don't have much interest in objective PvP. I'm an open world PvPer. So I'm always going to be looking for PvP over winning the warzone. Like I've said before I'm only there for the comms. On the bright side at least you never have to worry about me rage quitting when our team is losing.
  14. Oh good lord no I don't have any interest in any of that stuff. I just go in looking to single out a player. That's why I prefer Alderaan, Novare Coast, or Hypergate, so I can defeat the single player at the node. Sometimes, just for fun I'll kill the player at the node and don't even bother taking the node myself and then waiting for the next enemy player to show up to try and take the node.
  15. Nah, what I'm trying to say is I hate mindless, monotonous, cookie cutter play style. At least with warzones I can get a little creative. What's so funny is the other players have no idea I'm not contributing to the game. What's even funnier is I'm at the top of the list almost every time.

    I quit.

Was it in another forum? Devs don't come to the PvP forum, so I doubt this thread will get deleted, hehe.
  17. Open world used to be pretty active. However, since the recent release of 4.0 and the release of SW Battlefront the Bastion has been getting quieter by the day. Hell, I don't even get credit spam mails anymore. You know the game is on it's way out when you stop getting spam mail.
  18. LOL or a merc. They are such easy kills.
  19. Well I haven't had time to test against other players yet, but in the PvE setting the nerf is barely noticeable so far. If I was completely unaware of the nerf I wouldn't even notice it as I'm playing right now.
  20. Oh definitely. But mostly arrogant.
  21. It just depends on what mood I'm in. I only play the warzones for the comms anyway, so I mostly just go in there for deathmatching and 1v1 or anything else I can do to keep me entertained for 15 minutes. Maybe once in a great while I'll actually try to play the objectives. In arenas however, I'm very limited to how creative I can be to maintain my interest versus how creative I can be in warzones. So after about 3 or 4 arenas in a day and I'm done. I just can't stomach anymore arenas than that.
  22. I don't like warzones. I'm an open worlder. But I especially hate arenas.
