I believe you can at least "fix" it by either doing diplomacy missions, if you have that crew skill, or doing some esseless runs to get light side points.

I logged in yesterday. He says "We should talk but back on the ship is better". I go to the ship and nothing happens. My concerm is that in the new legacy system, there is some benefit to having this storyline completed. Anyone else having this issue or know a way around it?
