  1. Are you braindead? Jedi vs Sith is the core aspect of Star Wars!!!
  2. Now that you made a fool of yourself, my dear OP, you might consider apologizing to the "fools" at Bioware. Case closed
  3. You should have gotten a scene with him before the Nathema FP and a mail from him.
  4. Depends on your server pop and time. Best way to level up are heroics, class stories and planetary quests. Also you can forget vet - fp for leveling purposes in case there are more than 1 other sidekick PC. Someone has to do the killing...
  5. Depends....If you marry Vette you find out she kinda has a kinky thing about her shock collar...imagine what the two lovebirds might have done during the loadscreen for the scene
  6. Awesome, a droid romance? Can'T wait to create my own Pando Lando...or Pandobear....
  7. Enough people cried out loud enough and that's indeed how it's gonna be I understand the reasoning behind it and welcome the return to Empire vs Republic. But i heavily dislike becoming a lackey again. Right now i headcanon my former empress being polite and obedient as basic politics (gosh i hate that glad to serve line!!!!) The SIN served Zash before we could overthrow her, same with Thanaton. Right now Acina / Vowrawn are more powerful, they have an empire, big armies and fleets, we do not. So we need to play nice, regain influence and prepare our coup d'etat. That's at least my reasoning behind this awful line My Sith Warrior are either patriots (and therefore indeed glad to serve the empire) or hate the empire after all the betrayals and turned into saboteurs. They'll say and bow what / before whoever is necessary to see the empire burn and Odessen remain independent. Same for imperial agents i guess. I will wait how this plays out in the future, i just hope we are given enough opportunities to show who the real emperor slaughtering boss is. I enjoyed taunting Malgus very much by the way, gimme more of that, especially funny as a Sith Warrior who "killed" him I expect Darth Malgus will become the face of the imperial story line over time, so it doesn't matter if Acina or Vowrawn is emperor.
  8. I think they are all ugly AF, i prefer the original Vette. Some headpieces seem to hide the collar too.
  9. As far as i know the last time she asks you is when she tells you she is slowly dying from wearing the collar. Check youtube for all collar related dialogue. The collar bug however still exists, so unless you remove it at the first chance she will wear the collar ingame even if you remove it at a later time.
  10. +1 The 5.10 romance scene with Lana was awesome, so was the scene with LS Jaessa. A beautiful shot of the Odessen forest. I'd love to have scenes like this with all LI. If Bioware can't get the voice actors or it is too expansive maybe just show the PC and their LI sitting on a couch hugging it out when the next story - questgiver approaches them. Just to show they are still alive and indeed in a relationship. Add some ingame mails and voila we got some cheap LI content without paying all the VAs. Not a permanent solution, but at least more than nothing IMO.
  11. It depends on how you play it, I enjoyed the story very much. I recommend a ruffian scoundrel and roleplay all about pretty girls and money. Especially the Risha romance is absolutely awesome and the only one to rival the Kira romance IMO. I also recommend wtching Firefly, Serenity and The Expanse first to get immersed, makes way more fun then. For immersion balancing reason i RP my character more as a crew than a single person, explains how a non force sensitive accomplishes such great things. But most important: Flirt with every lady you can flirt with and enjoy a furious Risha! I just love the back and forth during that romance, so well written and lovely.
  12. Isn't her outfit just the resilient warden armor set with a blach/red dye modul in it?
  13. Thanks for the update Eric. I was looking forward to play 5.10 after a long day in office, even bought some snacks and beer. But i rather wait until tomorrow than have broken characters. Wasn't planning to play 5.10 with my main before weekend anyway. So take all the time you need and get it right, because if i can't play today anymore no one shall @All: Yeah, failed launches are annoying but **** happens. And immagine how the team feels. Working in a big IT department myself and having to fix a severe issue while the entire administrative branch's network is down (and your boss can't hold a presentation in front of the head of state and her cabinet because some ******* reeeeally f****d up) is no fun at all Just let them do their job and stop making fun of the team or yelling at the devs please. Instead give them a hug and promise that everything will be fine
  14. As a german i have to say that i admire the french people. They don't take BS from their government while us germans say: "Yes i will work for less than any other industrialized western nation. Yes i gladly work until i drop dead, thanks for letting me keep my job. Naaaa no risks my lord, play it safe my grand chancelor, mese dont like risks keke?" Even getting dumb and dumber is considered a virtue now. Just pathetic... The french on the other hand? Don't like this republic, just go and found the next one If the several republics in Star Wars are confusing better don't read about french history
  15. Odessen first, then Copero, Ossus and a spacestation like the nowhere! And ship strongholds, i want to decorate my smuggler's ship! Turn it into my very own Serenity!
  16. Not so sure about that. Arcann was gone too until all the fangirls called for a romance with space hitler Now he is back. Wouldn't be surprised if Theron, who is a popular and way bigger character than Arcann, gets a special treatment instead of becoming a brick too. But i doubt he will play a major role from now on, except as an alternative quest giver in case he is still alive. We will see. I'd prefered the option to just punch him on the nose and for Lana to save him in case the player decides to leave him on Nathema. The least Bioware should have done is not implement that mail from Satele which confirms his death. Unless of course she was lying. Some Ben Kenobi stuff like the Theron we knew died on Nathema and he became depressed and bitter, at least for a time. You know, some "certain point of view" stuff. I guess this way Bioware could still salvage and use his character should the want to.
  17. Just imagine them calling you "Lord Commander" I always headcanoned my Sith Inquisitor as Commander of the Alliance and (new) empress of the eternal empire. I imagine she had a copy of the throne from Iokath at Zakuul for fancyness and PR reasons The (Lord) commander title is her military rank, empress the political status. And she was very, very happy to read Lanas report on how bad Zakuul is doing after they declared their independence How did that experiment in democracy work out for you you filthy, decadent peasents?
  18. The first class weapons are all legacy weapons, including the curved makashi style light sabers from the Sith sorcerer. Looks awesome as dual wield weapon for a marauder ^
  19. Remember that at the time the galactic empire is founded, wild space is mostly unknown, even the Chiss are just a myth among wild spacers. The Alliance might very well have continued to exist and transformed into a local force in wild space with Odessen due to its grey natured force enclave choosing isolation over picking a side in the war between the army of the light (Jedi lords) and the several remains of the Sith empire. As far as i see it this is what happens with the Alliance: Most members of the Alliance have no interest in returning to their respective original factions and continue a pointless war. They moved on, maybe even got their families to Odessen or founded families during their time in the Alliance (propably even with members of the other original faction) Imperials and republicans fighting side by side in a desperate war might have changed their perspective severely. So when the Empire and the Republic come knocking asking to officially join them at some point they say: Nah, we stay here. Just like the Chiss at some point turn their back to the rest of the galaxy the Alliance / Odessen will do the same. This could happen with the commander still in charge or after he/she passed away / left for his/her original faction. I think the PC will stay the alliance commander until the end of the game and i have no problems with that or with headcononing the reason why. 1) Jedi characters: As Alliance commander my Jedi knights / consulars become the first of the future Jedi lords. No longer part of the Jedi order, more of a medieval landlord type of character with his own private army. 2) Sith warrior: After all the betrayals none of my Sith warriors gives a damn about the Empire anymore or is willing to serve someone else than him. In many ways just a force sensitive landlord like the Jedi lords in the future. 3) Sith Inquisitor: To retake control and gain influence within the empire a powerbase is required. This powerbase is the Alliance, Odessen the heavyily fortified base of operations. 4) Bounty hunter / smuggler: The Alliance always funded itself via the criminal underworld. Odessen now turns into one big cantina and party area, the nowhere in wild space if you want. 5) Trooper / Agent: This is tricky and depends on how patriotic the character is roleplayed. The important thing is that Odessen is in wild space and therefore just as forgotten as every other planet in wild space when Palpatine seizes power. Same goes for all of the specis and factions living in wild space. The Alliance could be gone at this point, sure. But by no way it has to be so. Persoanly i don't want to support the republic nor the empire. They are all dumb and go down for a good reason. 1) The empire continues to fall apart until there are just several Sith lords with their private armies. After reading the state of the galaxy article this is why i am sure that Darth Vowrawn will become emperor sooner or later, no matter who the player sides with on Iokath. The Sith will be backstabby traitorous little weasels again. 2) The republic continous to decline too, giving more power to the military and the Jedi until even the supreme chancellor is a Jedi for several centuries. This age of the republic is basically the endtimes for the old republic and can be compared with the holy roman empire in medieval europe. A feudalistic nation ruled by powerful Jedi lords with private armies and a democratically elected leader. Until the Star Wars equivalent of the crusades happen and the Jedi lords form the army of light to crush the remaining Sith in the Ruusan campaign, followed up by a reformed republic with a still localized military and the Jedi becoming scolars and diplomats instead of warriors. We all know how that played out... So...bad news for all you die hard Imperials: The empire is doomed and will never be as powerful or united as during Vitiates rule. The no reemerging war between the republic and the empire will continue for the next millenia as a series of bloody conflicts. This is interesting from a gameplay perspective as it allows the devs to drop the player in several localized conflicts (just like Odessen). Their outcome might differ, but not impact the galactic situation on a large scale. The larger story is told by Bioware and the same for every SWTOR player for the sake of continuity. Just my opinion and i might be completely wrong about what Bioware is planning. But with Anthem around the corner and the devs promising 2019 to become SWTORs best year, i am optimistic that the dev team will get additional manpower and ressources and us as player get involved in a number of planetary stories bound together by an overarching narrative that is NOT written by the players. No more galaxy impacting choices for us i think and imo that'd be a good choice.
  20. What the hell are you talking about? Did I miss something? Bioware is doing what?
  21. But didn't they say that 2019 would be exciting? The main reason i stick to this game is because all the other Star Wars content is sooooooo bad. I mean we have our own NPCs but at least we can cut them in pieces with a light saber or light em up with blaster fire
  22. I created a moneymaker scoundrel some weeks ago and mostly leveled him with heroics and veteran FP. This way he was already lvl 70 when i finished the first planet after Coruscant (think it was Nar Shadaa). I found out that you won't get much CXP from missions, but by doing every single quest (including exploration quests) as a lvl 70 i gathered soooooo many credits. Every quest, even the simple ones, are between 8000 and 21000 credits. Put in the usual heroics + hacking and get riiiiiiiiich. Filthy rich. Right now the character is at the end of act 2 and already aquired about 10 million credits this way, just by playing the game and enjoying the content. I recommend reaching lvl 70 by doing heroics and veteran FPs but don't skip any content. Enjoy it and get rich just to be rich. Especially immersive as a smuggler or bounty hunter, can't wait to buy that Rishi stronghold for my privateer I wish Star Wars had the Ferengi race, i wholeheartedly welcomed my inner Ferengi during this playthrough...All your credits belong to me galaxy!
  23. My sorceress never planned to stay a dark council member anyway. The Sith leftovers ruling the empire now are no match for the mighty empress Imperious *muhahahahahahaahaha* I found the article a littlebit lacking and i guess Bioware will further streamline the story pre 6.0. Both, Acina and Malcolm, will be dead when 6.0 launches imo. Vowrawn is a backstabby Sith...
  24. It's just like suiciders who talk about ending their life...a cry for help / attention. The real deal just jumps off a bridge. Noone cares about threads like this anymore. You are leaving? Uuuuuhuuuhuuuu...the game is dead now that you are gone!!!
