  2. This makes sense, I can remember a similiar case a while ago in WoW. That time it was a faulty Telia router in Frankfurt which caused the issues. Unfortunately the only solution for something like this would be to change the routing, and that's only possible by using a VPN.
  3. Same here. I play on Darth Malgus, but live in Germany (ISP is Deutsche Telekom). It was fine before 6.0 hit but now it's almost unplayable, random lag spikes every few seconds. The latency bar is jumping between three, one and zero pips back and forth. I also have zero issues with other online games and the internet in general.
  4. My best guess is that it's higher priority than an Infiltration Tactics procced Shadow Strike (since Infiltration Tactics has an internal cooldown) but below Psychokinetic Blast since using Vaulting Slash generaltes Circling Shadows. Other than that, Torval is probably right
  5. It's called Psychokinetic Blast and its animation sucks (imho). Or as you earlier stated, its aesthetic superiority is arguable
  6. I was wondering why I built stacks so quickly on my Shadow, but I thought they'd killed the 6 sec internal cooldown. I don't have an assassin to test since I only play Republic. But good to know it's a bug, so better not to get used to it
  7. I tried to finish this mission yesterday for half a dozen times on my Guardian, then quit and went back to my Shadow who is still in KotFE. It's a horrible mission especially for classes without spammable AOE. Vigilance Thrust has a cooldown of 8+ seconds and our spammable AOE needs Focus I can't get. Hitting the relays one by one and hoping for the chain explosion more often than not keeps one or two standing and you have to run back and check for everything, while sticking to pipes, ramps and everything else cluttering the room. One time I even died on the spot with two minutes left on the timer, just instantly died. Combatlog said "killed character (0 damage)" and I had to respawn...

  9. Ich überlege gerade meine SWTOR-Heimat von meinem alten Server (The Progenitor) zu verlegen, da dort inzwischen relativ wenig los ist. Da ich noch immer das etwas gepflegtere Umfeld eines RP-Servers zu schätzen weiß schaue ich mich gerade hier um und bin auf euch gestoßen. Direkt erstmal die ganz blöden Fragen: ich habe gerade wieder angefangen nach knapp 6 Monaten Pause. Habe mich für meinen Infiltration Shadow entschieden, da mir die Spielweise bisher immer am meisten Spaß gemacht hat. Nun habe ich gelesen, dass die momentanen Encounter nicht gerade melee-freundlich sind, vom schwächeren Schaden des Shadows ganz zu schweigen. Wäre das ein Problem wenn ich mich bewerben würde? Ich habe zur Zeit nur die Ressourcen einen meiner Toons zu transferieren, daher das mal zuerst klären

  11. I can sustain dps, just not on the levels of a Sniper or Marauder. As long as bosses are dead without hitting the enrage timer and healers can keep everyone up, our ops-group and I are good. No need to force certain classes or specs on anyone.
  12. I should have mentioned it, my response was purely from a PvE point of view. I do not PvP ever, I'm one of the few remaining Deception raiders
  13. That's what I do. Use Recklessness as an opener while the heavy force regeneration is still active, discharge, then resume normal operations. If the combat is long enough or I annoy a target dummy, once the cooldown is up again I use it immediately after discharging to discharge again. No idea if it's the best move, but it works
  14. Same problem exists in the Foundry (Empire) mission, right at the start when the ship travels to the Foundry. It's on the Known Issues list for ages. It would be nice to see it fixed though, currently everyone is dreading getting the Foundry through random group finder rotation

  16. I came up with a similiar spec to DarthKatt's, except I put the points of Electric Execution in Torment instead and the single point from Nerve Wracking in Insulation. I prefer to err on the side of caution However I couldn't log into the PTR yet, so this is still pure theoretical musings.
  17. Excellent! Unfortunately I can't copy my main over to the PTS (char copy failed every time), so my own testing will have to wait a bit, or I have to level a new assassin. I played Deception PvE for a long time now and I'll mainly focus on that on the PTR as well. I refuse to accept that PvE damage will be as bad as some people make it out to be

That's exactly what I was planning to do, I already played a Vigilance Knight before switching server and factions and regardless what many others say I always liked the spec Besides that, even Overhead Slash and Plasma Brand had awesome animations, I'm already looking forward to Shatter and Impale Yep, I have to agree: the juggernaut's animations deliver I especially like the animation of Sundering Assault so far, it's a lot better than the Knight's Sundering Strike one. Really looking forward to the others

  20. Okay, this may be a weird thread, but I'm a roleplayer and a sucker for style, so this is important to me How many hands does the Juggernaut use to wield his lightsaber? His idle-animation is with one hand only (in contrast to the Knight who uses a classic two-handed ready stance). How are the animations? When activating my skills (especially of course the most often-used ones), are they executed with one or two hands? In case you ever actually bothered to look at the animations, that is
  21. Yes. Master Vandar, a member of the Jedi Council, lived in Revans time (300 years before TOR). He was from Yoda's species. According to the wookiepedia, there is also a guy called Oteg somewhere on the Republic fleet, but I never met him so far.
