    Anyone else having an issue with the patch installing very slow on steam? It's been installing for over an hour, and it's only at 73% for me. I assume this is an issue on the steam end... just hoping someone has a work around I don't know of.

    WoW delayed. FFXIV delayed. Seems to be the rule, not the exception lately.

    I don't want a refund, but I am definitely unsubbing. The last minute delay of the expansion is extremely shady, and I'm not paying another 2 months sub in the hopes they actually launch in Feb. I might come back in Feb, after I wait and see if the expansion is even any good...which I am starting to think it'll be a joke. How far this game has fallen...

    What a strange defense of why something isn't very fun. It reminds me of WoW players that defend how The Maw isn't very fun, because "well, it's HELL. Hell isn't FUN..." lol WHAT??? Bizarre. This is a video game about Star Wars. This isn't Executive Simulator.

    Well, this is all a huge bummer. I came back to the game hoping for a decent amount of new content, but it sounds like we'll all be done with it in a couple days. I am so sad about what a shell of it's former self this game has become. But I guess we can't complain too much considering the expansion is essentially "free" within our subscription per month cost. Still quite bummed...

    I had hoped they would run the double xp event until the new expansion came out. I guess they decided not to do that. Not sure why having a month gap in between is a good idea, but maybe they have someone else planned.

    Not gonna lie. I really enjoyed this double xp event. And the Feast of Prosperity event was great as well. So much fast xp, so I kept making new alts and blasting through the class stories I wish this xp event was permanent, or at least xp was increased across the board. Leveling 1-75 (soon to be 80) feels kinda slow and drawn out without boosted xp. Feels bad man.

    Posts like this are a big reason why people like myself don't stick around long in this game anymore. Totally rude and snide for zero reason. This community really has become quite vile.

    This game has WAY too many abilities in every class. Many that are basically the same thing. They need to go through each class kit and trim it down. It's way too bloated.

    lol "be glad". You're that guy that takes whatever he is given no matter how good or bad. Some of us would actually like better content and better game play, rather than just be submissive and just accept whatever we are handed.

    Pathetic. If they cared about this game and wanted it to succeed, they would be sending out daily hotfixes. This dev team is the biggest reason why this game languishes in mediocrity and does not grow in popularity.

    Well, leaving known bugs to sit for a week after the expansion launches isn't a great way to make people happy.... There are actual game breaking bugs (such as the walker quests being broken so people cannot progress past them) that are just sitting there without a daily hotfix so people cannot play a toon they want.

    They said they would fix it on Tuesday. How they leave a game breaking (stopping?) bug for a WEEK is stunningly pathetic. I can't play that toon for days because they won't do a daily hotfix!

    Sadly that toon is lvl 71 and I cannot play it until they fix this.

    I'll just do what I always do. Play the new story, then unsub until more new story comes out. No need to stick around since everything else will be crap as usual.

    ....hotfixes do exist..... Now I remember why I quit the game years ago /facepalm

    It seems to be bugged since 6.0. walker and adds hit like a truck and can't complete even in Story Mode I remember when I did this last the stomp ability was a big dmg dealer. Now it does ZERO dmg. Anyone know of a work around? I am stuck until they fix this.
