  1. I tried to speak to Hyde, the new mods vendor NPC but the conversation leads to nothing. It doesn't matter which option I choose he just says something and the conversation ends after. There are no further dialogue choices I could pick, no mission is granted to me, nothing happens. After that I can speak to Hyde again but exacly the same thing happens. I'm never granted any mission and the conversation just repeats over and over again. Tried on multiple level 80 characters and different servers but the result is always the same.
  2. This expansion is a disaster for healers, while playing them I feel extremely weak, useless and it’s unrewarding. First of all you cannot reach 1.3 GCD anymore, at least without the 5% alacrity guild buff so all healers are slower now because the previous expansion 1.3 GCD used to be the recommended treshold. Also the bonus effects comming from legendary items for Sage / Sorc healers are ABSOLUTE GARBAGE and you get almost nothing with them. The last good bonus set for sages has been long gone with SWTOR 5.0. But now it’s even worse than 6.0 bonus sets. It seems like this expansion they only care about buffing AoE dmg of classes like they did with juggernaut so they can now do 40k sustained AoE DPS by smashing one button but for healers it doesn’t matter how much effort you put into healing because they are weak. It’s even more noticable in PvP. In 6.0 I was able to do 17-18k HPS as Sage healer and had several games around 20k with my merc healer. Now I’m nowhere this numbers and everyone is dying. Same applies to PvE.   3. The class itself is a joke, all self heals are gone, some DCDs merged into one and damage output is average. Right now sniper has even worse DCDs than powertech but it’s nowhere close to it’s damage. I have been playing all 24 specs since 3.0 and I think I haven’t seen a class in such a bad state ever since. Snipers are basically non existent in PvP and for PvE there are better choices. Honestly the only helpful thing snipers can do in group content is use diversion and the large shield (but most players don’t even know they can use it or when to use it). First of all Countermeasures and Evasion must be separated again. How does that make sense to have this abilities merged? Countermeasures is used if you want to escape, kite or run faster, Evasion is used if you want to avoid damage (but mostly you will stay in cover) - merging them is nonsense. Secondly bring the ROLL HEAL back. This is extremely important for survivability. Don’t make it a choice - it has to be a base built in class passive which every spec gets. And buff damage output by roughly 10%. Sniper used to be the most complex class in the game, very rewarding if played correctly. I don’t understand how you could turn it into the worst class in history in just one expansion.
  4. I have finished farming every gear piece to item rating 326 (cap for MM FPs and PvP). I’ve got 6x purple Thyrsian Force healer pieces, 2x legendary implants and the rest blue Supreme Decurion decurion pieces so it’s not possible for me to get better gear from PvP or flashpoints. As I fully augmented the gear (I’m using the purple 286 augments) I have found out that the stats look extremely weak. 11 alacrity augments + alacrity ear + alacrity implant + alacrity offhand and I’m at 12% alacrity (which shows 1.35 GCD). Basically I have invested everything I could into alacrity, I got no accuracy and almost no crit and yet I can’t even reach 1.3 GCD which is crucial for me as a healer. In term of DPS if I compare my old level 75 sorcerer with the new level 80 one, I’m doing less damage at level 80 despite having the best gear, tactical and set bonus. How it’s possible that classes now do less dmg than in 6.0 if 5 new levels were added? Every expansion before there was a huge DPS difference after reaching the new level cap. And lastly at least healers seem weak too. I don’t claim to be the best healer in the world but as a top 3 ranked healer I’m used to and know how to heal a lot of pressure. After doing several master mode flashpoints, the pressure done by some bosses was absolutely insane. I can’t even imagine how an average player can heal that (and my team was good and knew how to use DCDs). I was doing ~22-30k HPS with sorcerer healer, and ~25-35k HPS with operative and still the team was quite low on health. I felt lack of burst healing and resources management was bad too (can’t get 1.3 GCD).
  5. I don’t know how is loot distributed between players but they still get some for doing nothing. Anyway loot is not what this post is concerned about. I’m talking about this mentality “why would I join or form a group to kill a WB (or something else) if I can just wait near the WB? There will be a group sooner or later to kill it because it’s in objectives and all I need to do is to use just one ability to make the kill count for me and on top of that I can just AFK or Alt+Tab doing other stuff while waiting. These players DO NOT actively participate in the game but they still get their objectives / quests finished by being literally AFK and do not even contributing. While killing a WB is not a hard task to do, it still takes some time and effort to form a group, get everyone ready… now you can be AFK to do it… waiting for someone else to finish the job for you and not even bothering to help them.
  6. It has not been even 2 days since the new expansion is out and I have already encountered several players abusing the shared loot system. I’m killing a world boss and notice a few ungrouped players around the spawn area. They are doing nothing there - just standing and watching the fight. They have no intentions to help you, their only goal is to attack the world boss a few seconds before it dies. They are carefully running around avoiding getting into combat - just waiting for their time - what if something went wrong? They cannot risk being killed. At the end when the world boss is close to death, they finally do their huge, unmatchable and unquestionable contribution to the kill - they attack the world boss once with the basic attack and run away a bit. The world boss is killed and they get their very deserved loot plus the kill counts towards objectives and quests. Is this what you wanted? A bunch of players who don’t even try to help you and are too lazy or too bad to join or even form a group but steal your loot without shame for using one basic attack against an npc?
  7. The current alacrity tresholds (for specs without passive alacrity buffs) are believed to be: 1213 - 1.4 gcd 3206 - 1.3 gcd My question is - how can you calculate / measure this? Are there any equations which can give precise results or it can be found using a parse program?
  8. I’m very analytical in everything I do, not only in SWTOR or other games. It’s basicaly my style. And if devs gave you the opportunity to make your gear perfect why would you waste it?

So with the new gear we got an option to piece gear together to get exactly 1858 alacrity points: 240 alacrity augment x 14 -> 99 * 14 = 1386 252 main hand and offhand -> 2 * 236 = 472 1386 + 472 = 1858 That means you can get 1.3 GCD and still no redundant points are wasted. However my question is if 1858 really gives you 1.3 GDC or you need 1859. This calculation -> 30 * (1 - (1 - 0.01/0.3)^((1858/70)/1.25)) gives you 15.3956% (15.40% is needed) so if it rounds up it should be enough. Can anyone proof it?
  10. Hey, I reinstalled my computer. Now when i clicked on play button in launcher game doesn't start. Before reinstallation it worked. I also tried reinstall SWTOR but it didn't worked. In folder "appdata" i haven't got folder "swtor" only "SWTORPerf". My graphics card is Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 and processor Intel® Core i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz. I don't know if I'm missing some drivers that make the game doesn't start. Please help!
