Why wouldn't it? Windows 10 is just 8, which is just 7, which is just Vista... Vista is the last time any major changes were made to the core of Windows, everything since is just minor stuff...

That is true sometimes... See Vista... But the irony is that it isn't always true... 7 was solid as a rock at launch, there wasn't much of a need to wait on that one... Of course it was just Vista fixed.

Nope, not done... because it doesn't maintain the link, it costs real money, and it may or may not merge things perfectly if you've played on two servers. So no, that isn't at all a solution.

You make it sound like someone has to do this by hand. There are 8 classes (really 4, but 8 sets of companions) There are very few romance options, the quests are the same regardless of gender. Having played all 8 classes as both male and female, it REALLY is not that complex. The class stories are not as deep as they appear, having leveled multiple alts during 12x class XP revealed. They are filled with a LOT of fluff and travel. The only reason to do this is a lack of interest or desire, not because it would be overly complex.

It is sad that this can happen and the first response is not a forced password change for everyone. And frankly, two factor authentication via SMS should probably be required. Some people don't care, right up until their account is compromised, then they raise holy heck... Anyway, account info and password changed...
