  1. Nah.... This isn't a good video.. This is the stuff that legends are made of. This is proof of how someone can master the dynamics of a class. hahaha, everything else excluded, this was epic footage. Epic.
  2. Congrats, you just made yourself look like a big stinky arsehole. We're all going to laugh at you now. Ranked bullying affects everyone, and there's no excuse for it, no tolerance what so ever. There is no valid arguement that will ever support bullying in a video game.
  3. Pre 3.0, Running Rage spec in Soresu form had work-arounds. What I mean is that just before you would engage the fight, you would activate enrage in shii-cho stance, then swap to Soresu, thus retaining the shockwave buffs in tank stance. Furthermore, force crush used to grant shockwave as well, and that benefit worked regardless of stance, so yeah, back then Rage spec in Soresu was pretty good......but not anymore. Now everything is attached to Shii-cho stance, so trying to be a skank in rage spec is asking for complete disappointment and failure. The proper way to do it is to *Shank*, meaning vengeance spec with Soresu.
  4. Hey man, you're not alone. We all get tired of dealing with rude and disrespectful internet tough guy kidz. Don't let them unload their uselessness on you. Insult them back with their own silliness, and don't be a punching bag for them. Laugh at them while you insult them. Try this next time if the person is getting out of hand. - laugh and insult them, then immediately put them on ignore. Wait few mins, unignore the player, laugh then insult them back again, then immediately put them on ignore. Wait few minutes then remove them from ignore. They will never bother you again. This initial ignore game of course goes hand in hand with a /slap, followed by an insult in chat, each and every time you see them. Never apoligize...always fight fire with fire when it comes to swtor internet tough kidz. Keep punishing them until they finally put you on ignore, or log off.
  5. Absolutely. Choosing to use modifiers would be incredibly effective. The alternative methods I was employing with a few friends was selecting our dps teamate(either me or someone else) as focus target, then when the call out for focus swap was required, the next keybind pressed was "aquire focus target's target", so in effect I could be swapping my targets as I see fit playing my jug for example, then when the call out for focus came, we would all hit the keybind that automatically linked us all to our "target caller's target" with one button. Additionally, it could also be used on our healer, so the healer could call the target harrassing him for a quick burn down during the healer's applied cc...etc. It was just one solution to getting multiple players all on the same target instantly. Basically the dynamics your system suggest would have been ordinarily selected at the player's own discretion anyways without the modifier. tomato/tomatoe, I still liked your vid.
  6. Ha! Very colorful analogy. +1
  7. Nice vid. There are other ways for teams to acquire targets, but knowledge of the modifier is important. Thanks.
  8. no improvements at all for me, in some instances it's actually way worse. example: arenas granted me 40-50 fps average... now after update, my average fps is 25fps. total freaking garbage.. this game can go to hell.
  9. Nope. They're going to drive this cash cow into the ground until she breaks. The investors control the game, not the developers. The only way to stick-it-to-the-man is to unsub. The funny thing is, they know most of us aren't going to do that.
  10. Pretty dumb thread actually. Most of them are useless anyways, but this one is the worst I've seen all week. I'm going to create a new thread requesting every change, separately, each and every day.
  11. Lmao I loved the spaceship animation! LoooooooooooL
  12. Excellent post. There is also an unpleasant shift from playing objective warzones and winning, to more of a dps race to farm numbers. However the scenarios described in this thread resound the lethal pug stomping that occurs quite often during prime time. Important to note though, premades don't always win. Always brings a smile to your face.
  13. That would spoil the fun. I have a jug/guard for each discipline, a marauder/sent for each discipline, agents and bounty hunters. My character named Dethla is specced vengeance, for example when I want to play vengeance, I log onto her. The toon I'm using to shank with was my alt jug that I was tanking exclusively with. Funny thing was that I was entering ranked as immortal, but was getting trolled by shieldtechs. I decided to try shanking instead, and won almost every game after that. I'm everywhere man.
  14. Hahahaha! Dood, work with me here... Fresh level 60's should not be concerned with shanking. They need to learn the other disciplines first.
  15. Basically, yes. There's room for personal inflection on that regard, no set formula. Be warned, this is advanced juggernaut gameplay, and you will be shat on if you don't produce results. If you are a beginner, go back to regs, don't even que for ranked until you have a few months of warzones under your belt.
  16. I see you have an inquisitive mind, lol so I'll elaborate briefly. Swapping to Soresu from vengeance or rage and guarding a team mate usually pisses enemy players off because it disrupts their attack strategy to an extent. The problem is that when you are wearing dps gear only, you need to burn all of your cooldowns for a temporary guard application. Furthermore, you lose all of your resources when you swap, and it takes two cooldowns to switch stances, select friendly target, and then apply the guard ability. It's doable, but often too risky, and ineffective. The key for successful shanking (I like that term better), is planning ahead to deliberately equip partial tank gear. I'm not talking a full set, just a handful of augmented pieces, with the shield offhand. You cannot switch gear in combat, so you must make the arrangements before the round starts, therefore allowing your enemies to see your higher health numbers. I've already discussed a few scenarios earlier in the thread, but basically you want to spec vengeance and engage as Soresu, guarding your weaker targets, and swapping to the most vulnerable as the fight continues. You want to apply as much dps and control as possible, as soon as possible, and be aware of who your enemies are focusing. Your team will mop up your enemies, but many times I was even the highest dps for all rounds. I don't recommend full tank gear at all, for you will be relying too heavily on the competence of your random teammates. You need to still apply damage to win.
  17. LooooooooL That's deep man, "you put the presence on them" LoooooooooooooL
  18. •New Ability: Translocate/Transpose! Swap places with a group member and bestow a benign presence upon them for up to 6 seconds. Targets with a benign presence are ignored by most enemies, cannot be leapt to or pulled, and are immune to interrupts and ability activation pushback until they use an aggressive or healing ability. This has a 1.5 second activation time and a 90 second cooldown. Shieldtech? Benign Presence? The next thing we'll see will be PT's pulling roses out of their arses, charming their enemy targets. Are the developers on drugs? Honestly... I can't believe what I'm seeing... This is a joke right? L.M.A.O
  19. Haha, I guess I could write a book on the subject, a concise "how to do", "what to wear", "what to do when" sort of guide, then get my arse pinned up on some lame sticky thread ( which no one ever truly reads ), like everybody else does around here hahaha.... but I probably won't. Some treasures are too sweet to be shared. Live and learn fellas, after you develop enough experience with a jug and decide to use your imagination, you'll discover these things on your own.
  20. 10,000 views. Hmm, not sure why that seems so impressive to me. 10k... with not one valid complaint or ounce of disdain since I released the updated version. Any one from the development team see this? I mean give us an official post stating that it sucks, or that a change to our current ELO system is required, or in the process of evaluation...anything.
  21. How did your shanking go? Did you discover how most of the people who play this game are little fugly wimps? Haha. Man I tell ya, played correctly with good players who don't throw hissy fits and leave matches, shanking(skanking) is unbeatable. I must say it was the highlight of my entire season, watching victory after victory gather hatred from the fuglys. I remember getting threatened after matches, spammed with insults, getting called a hacking cheater, and even threatened to get reported. The self righteous elite who would /stuck as soon as I entered a match with them, would proclaim their "virtue" in general chat and thus cause hate from all other players. It was hilarious because the people who threw the matches used me as their excuse, and inevitably made themselves look even worse. Those losses still couldn't stop my victorious momentum. The best was when a jug, pt or sin was on the enemy team, and decided to skank in the second round after losing the first round to my team. They were always unaware of the resource restraints and often would be seen standing around spamming auto strikes because they had lost the rhythm of their initial rotations...which ultimately lead to their deaths. By far, shanking was the most enjoyable, dynamic and overpowered juggernaut experience I've ever had in ranked. Highly recommended. Haha, sue me.
  22. We all know what the scoop is with pt's in arenas, even though derps are still sauntering in suspended disbelief. Just for conversation's sake, I disagree with the emphasis on trinity evaluations, and by rights, they are actually the downfall of competitive pvp in this game. Doesn't matter, for this game will die because of it.
  23. If it's for pvp, just get enough light side or darkside points to equip the cheapest ones you can get. You need two relics for 2018 expertise. Bolster takes care of the rest. If this isn't an option for you, then purchase the level 50 campaign relics with basic comms. Again, your goal isn't substantial procs, it's purely for attaining max expertise. Pve..I have no idea.
  24. No shtt. Pyro is the biggest trainwreck I've ever seen. Immolate should not be single target......the list goes on and on. Biofail ftw.
