  1. How do you manage your augments for PvP? I'm mainly Sharpshooter/Marksmanship. I use full overkill augments myself. Thx!
  2. What do you mean exactly by "I lost Kaliyo" ? I think Scorpio uses the same weapon as Vector's, which is Techstaff, or Electrostaff (pardon me if I'm wrong).
  3. First I reading the title I thought, "oh this guy thinks lethality spec sucks", but turns out otherwise your team is really "something" btw. Nice job man, you play lethality like a boss
  4. Hi! Have u ever got mad and frustrated when you accidentally hit alt+tab/windows key and got your a** thrown to desktop/other program? Worry not! I'm gonna share how to temporarily disable those keys Assumption: You are using windows OS Like the title says, I'm gonna explain about how to do it, since it can really ruin our gameplay (Alt+Tab will bring us to another instance program on Windows, and Windows key will teleport you to desktop thus delaying our toon, this is especially deadly on wz/rank wz). 1. Download the small autohotkey program So, for first step, you need to download this stuff at http://www.autohotkey.com/ There is a download button to download that autohotkey program (size around 2-3mb), afterwards install it (run the program). 2. Make the simple script Right click on any folder (for example on Desktop), New-> Autohotkey Script. Open it with notepad. 3. Script contents Delete the entire content, and fill it with the following line: ; Disable Alt+Tab !Tab::Return ; Disable Windows Key + Tab #Tab::Return ; Disable Left Windows Key LWin::Return ; Disable Right Windows Key RWin::Return Note: The lines started with " ; " is a comment line, just to show us the functionality of the code written after those lines. 4. Run the program After finished write/copy-paste those lines, save, and run the script (simply double click it). There will be a "H" icon under "show hidden icons". If the icon is H, it means those keys are disabled, you can enabled it again by exiting the program, or right click->Suspend Hotkeys (symbolized with S instead of H). Hope this helps. GG
  5. Oh jeez, I don't think I can make it for this one if someone wants to take my place, please le them do (I've signed up and pay the entry fee few days ago for my gunslinger toon, Hikaru). Sorry guys, I hope y'all will have a good moment! GG
  6. Bastion is pretty dead? really?
  7. It's nice to see a savvy pvper who fond of engineering spec Engi4life! kudos to you, and when will the part 2 released? wanna see you play engi on lvl 60 Which utility points u took? I'm using: Skillful Ballistic Dampers Snap Shot Reestablishing Range Masterful Seek Cover Calculated Pursuit Pillbox Sniper Heroic Series of Snare Imo engineering spec is really neat and useful especially for interrupting enemies, thus supporting team on capturing nodes, protecting nodes, delaying enemies from reaching something (like delaying them to reach healer(s) ) can really be optimized using engineering spec. Sure the dmg output will likely to be lower if compared to marksmanship spec, but it can still be bursty enough to kill lots of peeps if played right. I love marksmanship too. Marksmanship (if played right) can also be useful for supporting team in terms of interrupting, cc, delaying stuff, but imo not as good as engi, but slightly more bursty in dmg output than engineering spec on average. Marksmanship ; more bursty, less team supportive Engineering ; bursty (not as much as MM) but more team supportive As I'm regularly switching between these two specs, in my humble opinion both specs are good depends on how you play it, and can be really fun to play with. Btw, which server are u in primarily?
  8. I agree with this, but it's for fun so yeah, ill still come lmao
  9. Plasma probe and interrogation probe combination will slowing down your opponent (plus stun with EMP discharge when both PP and IP are present), thus delaying them from getting to you. Covered escape also will immobilize our opponents if we roll near them, and there is leg shot, debilitate. All of those abilities are really helpful to staying out from melee range. That's for facing melee opponent Range opponent wise, Engineering/Saboteur is highly mobile, and you can LoS-ing range opponents quite well using this spec. Usually I'm using Explosive probe and 4 free-energy Overload shots (using utility) to LoS-ing them. And keep rooting and immobilize them whenever its possible.
  10. GG 1 question though, is stun and then out of combat heals allowed or not? I'll come

Yo plz bring more friends to this server to play with. Pretty please. And welcome to JM community!
  13. Main engi/sabo *raises hand Main PvP *raises hand 3 words: SUPA-roots, Boom-boom-baby, DoTs-ouch-ouch
  14. I agree, sniper has decent DCD, but to perform well, we must use it wisely, and accordingly. Nice thread man.
  15. Buff defensive probe dmg absorption, give us short time stealth ability like mara/sent, or maybe stealth-consuming energy skill, something like that. Or this
  16. I think being ganked on OWpvp is one of the best motivator to become a better pvper. But seriously, this is pvp server, ganking is legit, period. If someone got ganked, he needs to do three things: click that revive button, man up, and move along. PS: I don't usually ganking, but when I do, I let them finished their quest objectives first.
  17. I've searched the forum regarding this topic, and I have found few threads, but I feel like I want to post this thread with quite wider perspective on this bug. Yes, like the title says, there is a bug that allows player to turn their pvp flag off on the Contestant Territory on PVP server. I'm from Jung Ma, and I've seen 2 planets that suffers from this bug. Oricon and Yavin 4 (Idk about other planets) On Oricon, this bug only affect pubside, and it can be done in 1 or 2 ways: - you stay on fleet for quite long time, and then go to Oricon through terminal, and pop! you will have blue flag through entire contestant territory, or - you go into Oricon, go to CT, que for wz, get into one when it popping. And then after you get out from warzone que, voila! you are on blue flag the entire CT area, the entire time. On Yavin 4, I've seen imp player do this on Temple Ruins area collecting lockboxes without risk of getting ambushed. Idk about pubs. Proof video: https://youtu.be/8NyTeLlNnhc This bug is kinda discouraging pvpers (on open/world pvp aspect), and this can be bad for another reason, which is credit farmers. Now this bug exist, they can find a way to use this exploit and farm chest/lockboxes with ease. So, please fix this bug because I've seen this bug for quite long time. Thanks
  18. So, nothing new on this? I still encountering people who have blue flag (pvp off) on contestant territory. I've seen this on Oricon mostly (only pub side can turn pvp flag off on CT, imp side is fine) and on Yavin 4 temple ruins. (Ive seen an imp player wandering off with blue flag collecting lockboxes without risk of being engaged). Im on Jung Ma, and its a PVP server. Please fix this, in fact there are a lot of people who love open pvp/world pvp.
  19. Kudos to this, I also want a bit of explanation about the changes, not just a statement like "for make an easier gameplay to sniper/slinger users" (I remember this when they major changed engineering/saboteur mechanics on 3.0)
  20. Sniper/Gunslinger is squishy because we don't have off-healing abilities and stealth-escape maneuver like sith assassin/jedi shadow. But we have some pretty decent defensive skills IF we use them on the right time, on the right fight. But with that being said, it doesn't change the fact that we are squishy. Sniper/Gunslinger can function well if you got at least healer that can support you, because our role is pure to deliver damage, and when we do, it really hurts them (your opponents). My advices for playing sniper/slinger are 1. Position yourself properly (especially if you are on MM spec), 2. Don't let melee classes come near you, it will be bad, 3. Watch your energy bar, don't consume unnecessary energy, pay attention to procs, 4. CC properly (this is quite vital), 5. Throw your diversion grenade properly, 6. Use your defensive skills properly (don't let them go to waste), and 7. Keep on firing your target, focus! Low level sniper is horrible, few defensive skills, no-roll, and also baddie energy management. Your best buddy on low level is Cover pulse ability. On lowbie wz, this ability can save your life and cost your opponent one. (again, if you use it right). I hope you enjoy playing with sniper like we do! Keep pew pew-ing
  21. On engineering spec, snipe is used as a filler (imo) for 2 reasons, first the energy cost is fewer on engi spec (compared to MM), and second because you want to use Explosive probe on CD, like always (don't forget to use Laze target/Smuggler's luck before you throw your Explosive probe).
  22. I have hardcore outfit for party, is that considered casual?
