  1. This. People who are able to run master mode will just switch if this utility is needed. I feel like most of the new sets are like this, just not good enough to sacrifice the old set bonus for this one occasion every few minutes where it could be useful.
  2. I mainly do operations and need several characters for more ids. Equipping a weapon with all items BiS and correct amplifier and augement can get a little expensive. Using non-cartel market weapons is much easier at this point. But to repeat: I don't say it's difficult, or I don't have enough money, mods, or something like this. Just saying, I don't really get the point, why (account-wide-unlocked) cartel market weapons aren't BoL like every random drop right now. It's just a QoL change I would appreciate, so relax guys.
  3. Thought it's obivious, but maybe I should have been more clear. Yes, it's not all gear, but most (I don't care about low level stuff). With unlocked in collections, I of course meant for all characters, so account unlock. They won't lose anything, by letting us transfer those things to alts. Reason: I play multiple characters (of same class) and transfer gear with correct stats/augments and therefore can't use cartel market weapons, if I don't want to make each character their own weapon.
  4. Not sure if this has been discussed already, but since all gear is now legacy bound, are there any plans to make cartel market items bound to legacy as well? Of course only if the item is unlocked in collections, the way it already works with crystals for example. Would be pretty useful for weapons, since as far as I know there won't be a weapon outfit designer anytime soon.
  5. please fix this finally. it's always at the worst possible time (in europe)
  6. Seconded. And it has to be changed right now, not in december patch, since it's relevant now while most people still are gearing a lot.
  7. This. Please don't sit on your fragments, they are the most valuable currency in the game right now. Some classes have amazing sets/tacticals which make them so much better. Especially if you are playing more than one class, you will need every fragment you can get for now.
  8. It is pretty rare to get something useful, but it is still free gear. Don't disintegrate, claim it and dismantle from your inventory, this way you will get tech fragments out of it.
  9. You also get 100 fragments for reaching your personal goal itself and when you get your guild reward (the one with the 500 fragments) it also gives you so much renown, that if you use a booster, it's almost always a rank up, so another 100 fragment. So it's basically 700 fragments per character.
  10. Still can't travel to Coruscant. Loading screen stuck at 60%.
  11. Don't do it (just because of specs). There are reasons for having a class more than once, for example if you want to do the same operation multiple times a week and don't want to play any other class for that. But the different specs are not a reason for multiple characters. You can change them for free at any time and it just takes seconds.
  12. Yeah ok, I guess if you are playing a lot of low level characters, that might be useful. But if you are playing level 75/306, you can basically extract amplifiers, since stats on armorings and mods doesn't matter much because of level sync, so you can just use any with good amplifiers.
  13. Nah I wouldn't have posted this, if I thought this is an exploit. You don't get any credits, gear or any other real advantage out of it, you just might get some slightly better amplifiers and it's still by chance, so it could take forever. While I don't know if this was intended, I don't think they care much and even doubt that they are going to change it, because it wouldn't be so easy. The only way to fix this easily, is to get rid of the option to turn things back for free, which would be a very bad idea in general. So they would have to implement a system where if you turn things back, the amplifiers don't change, but also make sure, they change if you actually buy multiple pieces and so on. Could be getting complicated and I kind of don't see that coming for such a trivial matter. And while I like a little rng, a lot of people don't and are complaining constantly about it, so maybe keeping something that helps a little in an rather unimportant place, isn't a bad idea in the first place.
  14. The potential amplifiers list is not complete, not every amplifier possible on this item is shown there. Pvp reward can be found on shells/set items and all combat amplifiers like weapon expertise and armor penetration can only be found on armorings. edit: forgot to mention, the Amplified Champion's Set has also (weaker) combat amplifiers instead of a set bonus.
  15. I thought about that before posting as well, but I'm pretty sure they already know. I mean they must have noticed, that people are spending hours with buying things and immediately returning them. Besides I think it's not a big deal, because shells have the worst set of amplifiers. To be honest, if it wasn't possible to reroll them for free, I wouldn't care about them at all. So I doubt it would be a big thing if they nerf this, but on the other hand, I also think they have other, more important stuff to work on.
  16. The shells you buy from the vendor are actually the easiest for getting the amplifier you want, because you can give them back for free. So if you get an amplifier you don't want, just give it back and buy it again until you get what you want.
  17. There is still a crit (soft) cap. So the more you use, the less you will get out of it, but it will still increase. However, because of the new level sync even in operations and stuff, you are now being downscaled almost everywhere in the game and your mastery, alongside with power and endurance is also capped. And this one is a hard cap, so you get a fixed amount and nothing more. So no, unless maybe for the new operation, mastery augs (and also stims, adrenals, and so on) are not very useful anymore. Don't know about pvp tho.
  18. This ist true, but I think you don't really need a set (or any other) bonus for mobs. The only condition I consider when choosing sets for my characters, are boss fights. That's why I think a lot of sets and tacticals are not really good. While Dire Retalition is a little annoying if a boss has not-immune mobs, you can just turn around and kick the other way. If they don't fix this set, I'm probably going for the dps set, because I think Efficient Termination is just too bad. You need a 6 piece instead of 4 and the 4-part of this 6 piece is just useless (for bosses). Pretty sure the 5% bonus damage from the spike utility doesn't work on stun-immune targets as well.
