  1. No, because that by itself isn't an issue. It's that in combination with all of their other utilities that it becomes an issue. Besides the comparison to jug reflect doesn't even work. You attack a jug with reflect, you get punished. Your teammate attacks a merc with reflect up, everyone gets punished. That and it's up for 6 seconds making them able to heal up regularly anyways unless they are stunned the entire duration.
  2. You know what's not a good and fun way to balance your game around? Poor FoTM players and what ever weird sense of back up compensation you say they "deserve". They are broken right now, and keeping them broken because in the past they weren't amazing isn't good for the game.
  3. Population wise it's pretty decent. Doesn't take too long to get a queue. Balance wise can be hit or miss. Generally (in the 30-59 bracket), Rebpublic does very well during the day, where at night it makes hard switch towards Imp's favor. Not always the case, but consistent enough to where I wouldn't play my Repub toons at night.
  4. Hahah I didn't know that was you in that game, it was pretty intense (Kivise here). Cool to see what was going on the other teams perspective, especially to see what happened towards the end there. Good game! Also that guy Goodcard guy isn't in our guild. Looking at the scoreboard he didn't exactly do that great either so he probably should of kept his mouth shut.
  5. I'll let you in on a secret. Every MMO's forum talks about how the PvP in the game is terrible a failing, and have so since the launch of said game.
  6. You sound exactly like the type of person that thinks it's fun killing people 30 levels below you. Hotkeying takes the fun out of killing lowbies? What? Do you unbind all of your hotkeys for when you decide you're going to attack people that can't fight back? You know what I think? I think you can't kill anything that has a chance to fight back.
  7. That's fine, because the guy complaining would of been in the wrong. You help your teammate no matter what. What if an Assassin pops in halfway into the battle and the two of them finish off the Sent before you can react. Now it's going to be you vs 2 people, which hey, maybe you can handle it, but you now put your node and your teams chance at victory at risk. Not to mention you looked like a useless waste of space to your teammate that was defending.
  8. PvP at night on the Imp side is unplayable now. I haven't seen players this bad since the Zakkeg Beast server. These people are uncarryable. Games where only one player out of a the whole team broke 100k damage. AH was always bad for Imps in 30-54, but it has reached a new low now. The defender let the node get captured twice without putting up a fight. I said ok, I'll defend, you go **** around at mid or something. He doesn't respond and still stays to defend for the next round. He didn't even turn on stealth until I told him to. Since he wasn't moving I figure he has it under control now and won't screw it up again (I was a healer and was needed at mid). 30 seconds later I see him staring off into the distance as a guy is capping right behind him. I yell at him to turn around and to stop the cap but it just didn't register. Games like these repeated through out the night. I don't understand how people are this bad. It wasn't just a hand full of games. Out of the 20 I played, I had maybe 2 where my team had any idea how to play their characters. I kind of wish I could watch matches on the old Oceanic server just to get some insight on what the hell is going on.
  9. Yeah, something like that isn't your fault. I'm talking more about a single enemy, or multiple non-stealths coming from a distance. Things that are within the defenders power to handle.
  10. It's one thing for someone to call "1 inc" and no one helps and it eventually gets captured. It's another if they call "1 inc" and die in a *********** nano second, giving the team zero time to assist. Or they call out after they die. Or they stand on smack dab on top of the node, making it easy for stealth to sap cap. I don't assume the defender and 1v1 anyone because that really isn't fair. I do expect them to be able to hold for a few seconds so help can arrive though.
  11. Leader is given to the player with the current highest valor (not valor rank). So lets just say a level 38 has maxed out valor which is valor rank 38 and 5000/5000 valor (made up number). Then there's a level 53 with a valor rank of 57, but only 2000/12000 valor. The level 38 will be the Ops leader. This is why valor rank 100 won't get Ops leader anymore.
  12. It depends on your team or who is around during the current fight. If we don't have any healers then I'm not going to put guard on someone that's being focused down by 4+ people because that will just lead us both to a quick death. I would be more helpful throwing taunts and using my abilities to pull/CC guys off him. If it's a smaller scale fight or if there is a healer on our team then I'll use my guard more liberally.
  13. Well you're out of luck. They said they weren't going to update battlemaster and earlier gear and I doubt that has changed. Buy some cheap PvE gear on the GTN and/or go to the new planet comm vendor and buy mods.
  14. Yup, decided to try out my Pyro PT I haven't played in months to see how gimped they are. First game I did I got top damage and KBs with 600k and 23. You see this in everyone MMO. When ever a class gets slightly nerfed (even if they were insanely strong to begin with), people will complain that they are now completely worthless. If those people played multiple classes I doubt they would whine so much.
