Can someone please, in the simplest of ways, explain the new gearing system and how to get new gear?

Question about PTS. Never bothered before now- sorry if this question is basic knowledge. Is the PTS just the same as a live server? I mean.. when I que for PVP will it be TESTING not just killing like a normal WZ? I don't want to just play a reg WZ and learn that way I want the enemy team to cap 3 at a time or 4 at a time and so on in controlled areas. and see how difficult it will be with say (x) amount of people trying to stop that. and so on? Or will this require que syncing with like minded people. (16!)

Everyone wants to cap the pylon no one wants to guard it. Every single match it seems ^^^ I personally don't mind guarding. I rarely run first to it though because I'd much prefer to DPS/Tank. (PT/Jugg) but if no one goes I do.

I just recently started over on this server too. Level 50 atm 1.) both sides seem fine enough I play on the imp side and something is always going on in fleet chat. 2.) - 3.) GF pops frequently enough considering IT'S 12x. I mean don't expect much but it does happen. 3.) My experience so far is Pubs own lows unless Imps are running premades. But if its pug v pug it favors Pubs (big shock to me coming from JC) Mids just depends on who has the most stupid. I've won enough to feel comfortable to keep playing and lost enough to rip my hair out. So far that's all I can give info on. Rest I don't do (GSF) or not high enough level.

How is the PVP lows - ranked on this server? I decided to reroll from JC just to try something new. I've asked in Gen chat and got zero replies. Asked in random pvp matches and got zero replies.. must be a secret? lol

Don't make a merc if you don't want to be a target in PVP. Out of the list I'd say a Sin or Op. If you get focused stealth away.

That's a CM just doing the bare minimum. A -good- CM goes above and beyond. Maybe the CM you described should quit the CM game. Here's a decent read of what's expected of a proper CM.

Tried to do a search (Leveling in pvp) and that just brought me to leveling using pvp - so I decided to make a thread Was just in a match (arena) and someone hit 30 and one team member freaked out on the leveler. Calling them a hacker/exploiter, that they will get banned and should. Reported and requested that we should report him and spent the rest of the match sitting in a corner in say telling everyone to report the person. I didn't report because I just didn't care enough about it at the time. Until I thought what if this happens to me? Is it a exploit? I mean I don't monitor my xp bar at all and just turn in at random with my pvp quest. Would I be exploiting?
