Yes the quest chain is dull and yes i had a pop at it, but your kind of missing my point with your selective quoting of my post. Its the fact that content is being gated behind content... And to answer your point yes i have those crew skills accross my alts, that doesnt change the fact that the Lokin chain is insanely boring and i only got the option to kill the senile old git after the insane grind

Its way way beyond being alt friendly IMO. Example, yesterday i finally finished unlocking Dr Lokin on my Sorc, thats after emptying a whole cargo bay full of jawa junk to buy an insane amount of resources in order to proceed to the next step that i have to wait for an event to be active to do. Then i leg it all the way to tatooine and across half the map to click a glowy and fight a boss.(which is bugged btw ) Upon returning to Lokin i NOW have the option of rejecting him as a companion......!!!! My point being i really cant be bothered with such a tedious expensive grind in the future but Erics post tells me if i dont repeat this on my alts i will basicly be locked out of any future content that alert quest giver may provide?! All Alert companion missions should have the option to kill or reject the companion at the start, not after a week long grind. Really not overly fussed how the unlocks work but i really cant stomach doing Lokin on any other alt, or for that matter subjecting myself to more pvp to unlock Pearce, what bothers me is the fact that content i may want to do is locked out to me because i choose not to unlock all the companions

I hate it. I wanted to like it, but so far I am plodding around the map looking for targets to zap, and when i finaly find one i am pretty much unable to kill it because my target reticule is so sensitive i end up looping the loop five thousand times before i can even press the fire button for my gun. It also seems to be a massive CC sink fund....sigh.... TBH and at the risk of being flamed to death, its not Jump to Lightspeed and thats what i wanted

You must have skipped DA2 and ME3 then. Two solid reasons i personaly WONT pre order any product from Bioware again. Not to say i wont buy this expansion down the line (after its released i suspect), but i certainly wont part with £10 or £1 for a product i know next to nothing about. I dont have faith in BW to deliver and i certainly have zero faith in their marketing machine after the ME3 debacle

Quick travel to ship with a cooldown would be great. Shouldnt be Legacy however. Theres a lot i like around the legacy system but im worried that to much standard content that needs to be in game will go the route of legacy unlocks

No offence but im sick of the "If you dont get 3 medals your doing something wrong/or suck" argument. There's enough posts in this thread that highlight why earning the 3 medals can be problamatic since the patch.

With Practice And the fact every match i have played since 1.2 went live ive joined late..to a loosing team. Im probably slightly overhyping my PVP suckiness to ilustrate the point that as a casual player there is little incentive for me to par take in PVP now, because the system is no too harsh in terms of rewards for loosing teams- which is why folks are leaving and others join late and get zero reward. I dont expect a free ride but some kind of reward for participating might be nice. Anyway to be honest its a moot point now as i really cant be bothered with PVP anymore. I just needed a rant

So basicly another example of Bioware claiming they are listening to player feedback and then making an alteration to the system we are complaining about that doesnt actually address any of the comments being made by the players. Sounds about right. I suck big time at PVP. That said i really try my hardest to do the best i can in any given warzone to help my team win and maximise my own rewards. Now- I get nothing. Every time. Nothing. Casual players screwed over once again. Apologies to the hard core PVPers, but some us like to partake in PVP for a change of pace and fun. That said constantly queing for 20 minutes plus to either come in on a match that is about to end, or recieving ZERO reward EVERYTIME wont encourage me to PVP even for the fun aspect. So now i dont. Forget the metrics, YOUR PLAYERS DONT LIKE IT I dont expect everything handed to me on a plate but im fed up of missing out on content just because my skill levels at certain game play elements arent at Olympic Champion level.

Maybe because some of us PVP for the fun factor but actually suck at PVP? Thats me certainly, i enjoy PVP but i utterly suck at it. Sure i dont expect the same rewards as the winning team but for Gods sake some kind of reward/incentive for participating would be nice? Just for that... If i ran Bioware i would currently do two things 1/ Give every player from launch the free month not just the 50's 2/ Re write the ending of Mass Effect 3 so its actualy good Think that covers the two hot topics thats earning some of us the "entitled" badge i wear mine with pride

They are their own biggest enemy lately TBH. Look at the ME3 backlash, fans picking apart every statement Bioware make to address their concerns. No matter what they say they cant win. A fan interviews a game writer for ten minutes, and the writer just answers openly and honestly and is basicly elevated to godhood by the fanbase for having the guts to talk to a fan normally without emploing bloody agrevating meaningless PR doublespeak. They seem so caught up in trying to make articles and statements PR friendly that they actually end up loosing sight of what they are initialy trying to say and end up doing the very thing they are probably trying to avoid. If the free time is because of the warzone issue with 1.2 everyone should get it. Personaly i think it is to put out the warzone fire so to speak but because the PR department forbids even a second of honesty from them, this is the result.

I doubt a Bioware CEO would do that, by all accounts they write even more poorly worded documents to put the fires out when they get a fan backlash over a poorly worded document

Fair enough I think im probably a bit disolusioned with Bioware lately. This isnt the only game from them thats got my back up this month. I just dont see how they wouldnt read that announcement before posting it and not anticipate people kicking of about it. Effectivley telling your player base your only considered loyal and deserve a reward if you have a 50 is sheer insanity.

No the easiest way to set a benchmark for it is active subscription time. A new player who bought the game and subbed last week could have a 50 and get free time. A player who has been here since launch may not have a 50 and gets shafted. Maybe its just me but i fail to see how anyone can defend that logic

I have a 50. But that is very poorly worded by Bioware. I fail to see how having a 50 makes you a loyal player. I appreciate its a freebie but personaly i totaly get why players who, for example, may be founders but dont yet have a 50 would take issue with that. Giving away a 30 day free sub to a specific selection of the community is going to annoy someone at somepoint regardless, and TBH in this case i think they are justified in being annoyed. Judging on the Flak Bioware have been recieving lately in general i really do wonder if they actually stop and take a moment to think about what they are doing before making announcements like this
