  1. I'm not sure how they mathematically changed things. The only thing I am 100 percent positive on is that my 330 Rakata weapons and some gear increase my power level a bunch. 326 PvP gear is not king. 330 Rakata is now. They need to hotfix this ASAP. It's becoming a quit moment for so many people.
  2. We also got 15 seconds shaved off combat focus, it's a little tough to tell atm, but the changes are better in some ways and lesser in others. The new DR on the stats is what is prove it all in the end, as well as the face that we can shield force/tech attacks. The bigger problem is that in 162 gear we only have about 40 percent shield and under 40 on absorb, and 16 percent defence with 600 points invested into it. Shadow/Vanguard had it easy now even with the hit they took for the fact the shield/absorb is so high and well ours is crap as well as Blade barrier still sucks.

Actually PvP aside, DPS guardians are 100 percent worthless in the new ops such as explosive conflict, With the tight enrage timers even a fully geared great player is going to have to be left from the raid group the DPS is way too low, the parces don't lie. This is something Bioware doesn't get. It's goes inline with the Shadow/Vanguard theme. Both are better tanks, and DPS speced there is no comparison. Until they give Guardian a real DPS tree, and major improvments to the tank tree they are ok at PvP for the moment is about all,, but 90 percent of the time your group is going to be expecting you to guard a healer BTW I have a Guardian Full Rakata DPS and Tank suit fpr PvE and 7 pieces of augmented war-hero the rest battlemaster for PvP, so I would not agree that Vigilance is a total Win
  4. Without going into detail yet, I'm looking for some solid posts from the forum community with the experence they are enjoying or disliking about guardian post 1.2. I will admit other than a few things in the Vig tree. I feel like we got looked over on key needs for PvE and PvP leveling and end game experence, due to the lack of real player testing on PTS. I'll go into more detail on my views and experence later or in a new post.
  5. Geez after leveling up a toon on TC to look at the advanced guardian trees for sake please just put Challenging Call by default at 30 seconds CD since the dam skill to train is gone. TO reduce it's cooldown. I run pretty fast FP's to help others and OPS, AoE control was our problem and now it gets shafted more. I'm really upset that the people im used to running with have told me, thanks for helping and we enjoy your friendship, but we got a shadow tank that can have Aoe better control and cloak and Mezz things so we can finish 10 minutes faster or also bypassing 20-50 percent of the content in HM's Flashpoints. As for the ops, sorry its not your skill my friend or gear its the fact you can't hold agrro like a vanguard/shadow can and again make the run as fast as it goes. I'm just sad at the update, even our focus tree I enjoyed for PvP is going south (no cooldown reduction on skills and the loss of dps in sweep) again great job on AoE control. So much for saving up for 4 suits for future Dual spec gameplay for PvP and PvE. All this to help our brother sentinals. And shadows are fine? And they are viewed as balanced?
  6. umm so a Sorc/Sage spaming one button with no skill invested is? or perhaps a Trooper/BH spaming Grav/Tracer is? My main post was never directed at the focus build in full, besides it takes way more skill to setup the rotation anyhow and manage your focus costs playing rage/focus than most other classes anyhow, and is very limited.
  7. I'm not too excitied from the patch notes, just playing and respecing through all the various builds in the past as a guardian, we didn't get our major skills/issus adressed. In most cases a nerf to some extent. I feel like Vanguard and Shadow tanks will always be wanted more in ops/PvE (they do way more DPS and have better aoe threat, and such) Our dots as well as other skills just plain out stink, and well I need say more.
  8. get both and switch for the role your group needs, when I'm in a pre-made group or running huttball I wear my tank suit even dps focus speced as a jedi guardian. If you are after winning objectives and the match it helps, but if you want to run around not following teamplay or zerg you will need that dps suit.

I feel your pain i opened my 2 BM bags today so far and got 30 champ tokens, thats bull for the fact i have full champ gear and 6 BM pieces and the fact i have to work harder to get the kills as a rebel doesn't help either. Bioware please quit messing this RNG crap on the bm bags, and why not offer them for sale along with champion, after all we earned the rank.
