Releasing an extremely mediacore at best game at christmas that is so buggy it starts being borderline gamebreaking at christmas Probably also has SOME Conseguences in terms of dropped subscriptions and backlash from actual reviews (Don't show me the metacritic reviews, most of those companies have extremely bad and shady background that says "we got paid to put this number out" or "yeah it looked like right from background art".).

  3. My god a game where you have to choose between training skills, doing crafting or buying mounts becouse of skills costing several thousand credits for 15-25 damage increase finally got gold spammers? It's not like theres a market for extra credit income.

Ones like : random dialogs of NPCs or other player's companions popping out of nowhere blue "quest" objects with an error message "not eligible for conversation" Mako's healing leave green glowing that never fades talking to NPC while mounted dismounts you, but doesn't insta-summon the companion, so you can't gain companion affection points. You have to dismount manually and then start conversation nodes showing on minimap if they are activated by other player and not looted (can't be used by anyone else) 'enchanted tooltips' actually does not tell how much x rating gives in relic effects, or relic cooldowns for that matter the flight missions are daily quests duable twice on first gain of the flight missions. Not sure if ment to be, but a bit silly if it is. ranged AOE spells marking doesn't represent actual area of coverage Enemies keep channeling even if channel is interrupted. I can go on and on about actual important bugs listed in that thread wich are quite self evident if you look trough them, some of them are very minor cosmetical fixes that can be done rather quickly that are far more gamebreaking then using emotes on mounts. And yes I expect them to read forum threads about bugs. If they don't thats their problem, I'm not a paid tester so I'm not going to take spam from them receiving everyone of my bugs. If QA ignores the thread for what ever reason thats their problem, it still means that they had the information somewhere but chose to ignore it.
  5. Yes I'm afraid it is. On a serious note tho it does sadden to see one of the people who actually were a big part of my childhood pass away, even tho he was a stunt actor still, he was atleast a great athlete on top of that and I'm sure starwars would not mean the same as it means now to some of us. The fights were beutiful and very well shot, they resonated on so many levels... If only it wouldn't have stopped

  7. Lets ignore the fact that they also are not implementing: Correct tags to sounds. Force stances for pets (can have multiples). Level restricting the zones they dont want players in or the loot. or... Heck heres a threat http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=89111 have fun noting the small fixes they could make that are significantly more intresting then emotes on SEGWAYS.
  8. This indeed. I'm sorry but this happens to be the best response in the entire thread and no one can top it. But yes it is true its just marketing for saying in a polite way "No, we dont wan't you" kinda like how they treat EU customers with maintanence. Theres a very fine line between smiling and slapping someone in the face, and slapping in the face.

  10. As much as I like the idea of hard modes actually being normal instance dificulty, the bases of team play and cordination should still be implemented trough carrot buffs instead of stick. Ignoring them entirely will just mean people have harder time introducing themselves to higher dificulty levels Specially when groupin during leveling and instances don't really seem that much of a learning experience as one would like.

  12. Hey can I join in the fun? No? Great I'll do it anyway. So from what I gathered the bases of the fight were from a lore perspective; fire lava of doom, force related things. And layot since I'm assuming its an entry level raid; 1.5-3 minute entry level phases times 4. (Thats respectfully 6-12 minutes entry level gear, enrage hardcoded at 12) So how about we assume we want to have on every raid 2 healers, 2 tanks and 4 dps assuming its 8 man. Phase 1: Basic 'no penalty' boss encounter mechanics for phase 4. One tank is tanking the boss who does light-medium physical damage and can be stationary trough out the fight. One tank is biding hes time to seperate small adds from the boss, call them ghosts shiny lightballs what ever. Upon inpacting a player they are absorbed and player gains a stacking small buff in a radius of 5 meters. When this buff reaches 3 stacks you get aoe damage but significantly higher buff. Spawn rate set between 15-25 seconds and buff wear off to triple the spawn rate. Phase 2: The boss will start pulling pillars that will be atracted to a random player. If they fall on the player he gets knocked back and stunned for 3-5 seconds. If any other player is near the stun is immidietly exponentially increased and deals significant damage (Not instakill). These will stay as a permanent area on the ground kinda glowy that gives no benefit. Phase 3: Floor collapses, players have up to 10 seconds (maybe add a pulsating aura depending on how close you are to the boss to slow) to get to the glowing areas that reduce the fall damage to 0% while you make your way down. Phase 1+2 combined in base damage but lavaspouts on the ground that does a stacking debuff on you. The lingering auras on the ground give a static slowing debuff that stacks the more theres stuff on the ground. Phase 4: Boss hits 25% gets a significantly higher single damage output, and if the ghosts are left lingering on the boss for greater then 8 seconds he will (mini)enrage. Boss gets signifacantly tougher to move, perhaps channels small damage nukes just to make him more unwilling to move. For minienrage you could make him channel a aoe damage instead of a single target, or pulse cast them allowing you still the change to interrupt as per norm. Quessing game: What influences do I combined this boss from? Edit: And yes I can think of many ways to add in new things to make this hardmode, or signifcantly harder but this is as said an entry level raid boss concept for working on awareness and cordination without immidiet death penalties.
  13. They were too busy sabotaging the end game content mechanics and gameplay so they figured they have to put SOME timesink in so they crippled the jumping mechanics. Thats the only reason why I can think of. Some of them are nice, exploratory ones. Some of them are really really dificult jumps and when you get your reward "+4 aim". Yay. Now I can aim my lightsaber more closely to... Umm. Right I was a tank. Thanks for colourcoding them before hand so I know if its worth the 15 minute mario torture. And yes if I sound pissed off I am, this is something that is unbelievably redicilous design. Some places require you to going close to the border of exploiting in order to get and with the record of ea/bioware dealings with people just using the system as they see fit this is not a good thing to do. PS. Before anyone calls out colour coding. They change on every item in the game so good luck figuring that one out.

  16. Juggernaut is awesome class, too bad you just end up saying "This does not concerne me" or "Some elobration is required" "I don't see how this concernes me" So Many Times. You will want to punch your monitor.
  17. I support you OP. I generally ask my random DPS to write a 300 word Essay on their role description in order to see if they are worth it, and ask a bunch of trickquestions about their class theory just to see if their brains are functioning all cylinders.

They s top treating me as a 'calculated casualty', and start cleaning the mess from fanboys on this forum so we can start discussing actually about flaws in the game so they can be fixed sooner or later. The EU maintanence is ticking me off more then all the flaws in this game combined, and thats saying alot from a person who consideres gameplay over everything while findin the story insulting my intelligence at times.

  23. Theres a usable object in inquisitorial level 30 quest (last of act 1) that has the name "THIS OBJECT HAS NO NAME". Reported in beta and I'm glad to see my old friend back in its place.

  25. Unfortunately flameshield does not help you against Biodrones sonic weaponry (Yes this is to be taken as a joke. No need to get all angry about this one, if you don't get the joke you missed on xcom games.). But yeah I'm having same issues with the forums as well but thats still not my worst problems with the customer support. I do really like Star wars universe and the ammount of potential it has for games but it has been increasingly dificult for me to enjoy the games that have come out in the recent years when it feels like it has been going towards the 'safer routes' by using really mixed signals.
