  1. Don't take the "killed" quote literally. I could have used "SWTOR is dead" but again you would have taken that literally. I shall rephrase it so you can understand more easily. Swtor critical hit itself and now its on life support.
  2. implying swtor hasn't been killed yet.... swtor killed itself, we all know this.
  3. He said if you don't like it please don't troll. You can say you don't like it without trolling, assuming you're capable of not trolling.
  4. If you're gonna make a decent "review" the baseline is to at least get to end game first. And the review is coming from a guy who actually gave GW2 a 10/10....
  5. Exactly, people can just vote 10/10 or vote 0/10 just to lower the score. And with Angry Joes review, it didn't seem fair and didn't make sense overall. But I guess that's just his opinion, that's my opinion on his opinion and again your opinion. It's all about opinions. Obviously he won't have the time to fully play ESO, he may rate it a 5/10 with the limited time he may have (whilst reviewing and playing many other games) but someone who plays only ESO may rate it an 9/10 if it's the only game they've been playing.
  6. One persons reviews of two different games. Well I guess that means SWTOR is officially better than ESO! That reviewer was just comparing eso to wow, gw2, skyrim etc...and he didnt even say what level he got to before reviewing it, never even mentioned endgame or veteran ranks. He's straight up hated on the game with a few "good things" just to make his shoddy review valid. I tend to look more at the overall user score than one persons opinion and rating.
  7. totally agree. swtor can't even handle 20 players without issues, eso runs smoothly with 200+ on screen at once
  8. It's all just a matter of opinion...the ratings...calling it "the worst game"...for some its the best game. And you can't really say that consumer reviews are a good place for reviews when there's people on metacritic and stuff voting 0/10 just for the hell of it. There are obviously issues with ESO but many of those can be fixed. I wasn't surprised when joe gave it a 5/10. He's not much of an MMOrpg gamer anyway. Or you know...you could just play the game for yourself and decide instead of judging it on reviews.
  9. Then you must be very small minded if you take the word of a single person to make your decision
  10. I wonder what level he got to before he made the review. And Joe isn't really an MMO gamer. Each to their own I guess. And reviews are just opinions anyway. I myself would rate ESO 9/10.
  11. Bethesda didn't make the game, Zenimax did. And you're really comparing the number of bugs from a single player game against an mmo? Really?
  12. Nah it doesn't mean it's popular.
  13. And I do find it funny when people say fast popping queues means something is popular. Yeah, popular among the 24 people on the entire server queuing up.
  14. Well for me they stopped popping about a few weeks after. Maybe it varies server to server.
  15. This is true. People came back for it to try it out, only to leave days later after seeing how bad it is.
  16. Not surprised either. There aren't any red scores from the critics, and good reason. ESO doesn't deserve a red score from critics because it's a very good game. Unfortunately you have the kids who will vote it a 1 or 0 just to lower the user score and have nothing better to say than "it's not WoW" or "It's not Skyrim" etc.. Someone actually wrote "The cinematic made me have great hopes for this game...". Those are the kind of people voting, who have no idea what they're talking about. Then again, what are reviews anyway, just opinions thats all.
