  2. Maybe because its a standard thing to do when you've got a multiplayer game with a competitive gamemode like PvP. Having a way to report cheaters doesn't necessarily mean that players are actually cheating but that they COULD cheat. Its like saying "oh the game has a way to report bugs so the game must be full of bugs"...swtor is a bad exemple but you have the idea. Accusing ppl of cheating is a serious accusation same for wintrading. So i have some questions for you and I wish you would answer them: What exactly are you referring to by cheat in SWTOR ? Have you seen a lot of player using cheats or even at least one ? Are your sure they were cheating ? And if yes can you tell how they were cheating ? Because most the time when ppl accused someone of cheating it's because something they didn't understand. And if you don't know every game mechanics, passives, effect and even bugs there's probably a lot of things that seems like cheating wich actually can be explain through game mechanics that you didn't know about. You have to realise that cheating and not being caught is actually hard and require a lot of knowledge about game development, reverse engineering and programming and the swtor community isn't big enough to have serious hackers community. I'm mostly speaking about Hacking but there's other form of cheating like exploits but it would be too long to talk about because there's actually a spectrum between optimizing game's mechanics and exploiting bugs. I would only say this, there's no major exploit in PvP at the time as far as I know of. About wintrading, i'll ask the same questions as for cheating (What exactly are you referring to....etc). Let's be honest there's no reason to wintrade PvP seasons are easy to complete even if you lose, the rewars are very un appealing to a lot of players. A finally PvP isn't a competitive mode anymore everyone can get the rewards easily and there isn't any form ranked anymore. So why would ppl wintrade ? I'm playing on three different servers including the larger ones SF and DM I've never seen any wintrade in regs it even sound oxymoronic.

Even if op conc is a trash spec overall in pvp this extension it still one of the best dueling classes and I'm not even talking about leth wich is even better rn. Did you even try to duel a sniper ??? You won't even hit it before it kills you. Sniper can just keep you at 35m the whole duel.   4. He's talking about group queue dying because this is what would happen if you do separate queues. You can't just propose to make an solo and a group queue without facing the consequences and the fact that the game simply don't have enough players for that. You can't just make a group queue for 16 players that will work with the actual PvP population that's as simple as that so stop proposing this dumb idea. We need ranked back because PvP as to be a competitive mode players who want to be competitive and actually confront players can't be mixed with players that just to afk to a pylone to complete their trash PvP season it would make PvP queue in regs way more healthy and give players that want to tryhard this game mode what they want with meaningfull rewards. As I said you can't ignore PvP population while talking about matchmaking you just can't. What you don't seem to understand is that making an algorithm that only make PvP proc when the team are perfectly balance will only result in player spending ages waiting in queue. That's why backfill exist to overide matchmaking rules and make PvP pop even if the team aren't perfectly balance. You have to chose between having a perfect matchmaking or having matches that actually pops, you can't get both and thinking otherwise is an illusion. Also for the last time most premades aren't the problem. The game was fine for years with premades in queue why would it be a probleme now ? Because players are trash in pvp and mostly in soloQ that's the only reason, thanks to the PvP seasons for the most part and the trash decisions made by devs over the years leading to all good players actually quitting the game leaving cartel market suckers and galactic season farmers alone in pvp Q with some of the veterans that can't get over the swtor addiction.
  5. You clearly didn't get into ranked. Yes it had some wintrade but that only concerned a minority of the matches and players. What cheat are you talking about lmao ?? Maybe you were just referring to wintrade again because it was the only form of cheating that was present in ranked at the end of ranked and it was still a minority of the ranked community. A lot of ppl made this arguments and don't understand how dumb it is you have to think about the consequences of seperate queues. First of all the premade Q will never proc and you won't be able to tag with a friend anymore. SWTOR is still an MMORPG if you can't play with your friend and promote multiplayer cooperation there's no point just make another game. And even if it works how would you do this ? Premades can range from 2 to 8 players so are gonna make a 7 different Q, so 14 in total (2v2,3v3,4v4...etc) It's just doesn't work on so many lvl. Again this game lack players so sperating queues will only make PvP queue time even longer and the match making will be very bad. And to be honest it's isn't that long to gear up but you're right shouldn't be an obstacle there's just better options than that. Sure so players would only take 2 or three maps because they'll be popular and have lesser Q times what a brilliant idea. Another popular but very dumb proposition. Some players actually like Huttball for exemple and would never be able to play it again. All rewards are from PvP season wich covers arenas and WZ so wtf are you talking about ? Don't you think not rewarding losses will just make wintrading worse ???? Assuming that wintrading does indeed exist nowadays, wich I hardly doubt because there's no need to wintrade the season already is very easy to complete regadless if you win or not. Once again separating queues is a very bad idea because there's just not enough players. Also do you really find PvP hard nowadays ??? Because with all the new players that's join because of PvP season you just ahev to read your abilities to be better than 50% of the players. Also how would that any good for newbies to fight other newbies ? So they can stay newbies forever and never need to improve?? Veterant aren't using any dark magic or hidden exploit they just have put some efforts into reading their abilities, understand their class gameplay and learn other classes abilities to counter them. And you don't need to a be top player to have fun in PvP. Because you don't play it the right way it's actually the game mode that encourage the most fighting. Because while your at it just remove all PvP maps since it basically a marathon/afk simulation if you want to. I very curious to see what you actually call wintrading. Again what cheating are you referring to lmao because it seems like your just using this word randomly rn. Glitching is the same on all the maps huttball maps just happen to have more verticality wich make dsync more frequent that's all but verticality is fun so it's okay.
  6. sorry but no this would mean that the would punished players because they're good ?? and you would have to throw your winrate elo or whatever just to get greater chances to get a proc. That's a terrible idea. A better idea would be to bring back a competitive Q and a form of ranked it's just simple as that
  7. Imagine ask devs to work on actual content and release cosmetics and mounts outside of cartel market. You're right balancing is impossible that's why there's hundreds of solid propositions on forums and feedback but sure it's impossible for a team that have no clue about how their game actually works and aslo a team that doesn't know how to read feedbacks. Wintrading and toxicity where never the average experience of ranked sorry. It was a problem for sure but taking these problems to define the all game mode isn't fair or even close to the reality of ranked experience. The argument "they have to change the leaderboard for combat styles it so hard to do...blablabla" is so dumb they already have seperate winrate when you change your combat styles and even when you change spec how hard would it be to implement that into a ranked leaderboard and an elo system ??? Spoiler it isn't hard at all. They just removed ranked because they were spitting on the ranked community for years by releasing replicas and not balancing there game and listen to feedbacks and players complains. They even messed up the delivery of top 3 rewards in S14 how can you mess that up. So it isn't swtor ranked community fault if ranked was removed it's because Bioware's team wasn't competent enough to manage any form of competition in this game and it's easier to bury their head in the sand than facing game issues. This apply to all form of content tho not only PvP
  8. Rage Jugg ??? All oper, sorc, sniper, merc, sin spec are better at dueling than jugg what are you talking about? Pt's are good in duels but not broken most ranged or spec with offheals would won against pt.

I know there’s an elo system I just don’t think it’s only based on wr most premades don’t care about obj so and their win rate should be pretty everage or below everage so losing on purpose to get more games is only a thing in arena to my knowledge. If someone were pulling you to prevent you from capping it’s more likely to make the game longer. Also if we’re talking about more than 4 players premades ofc there are toxic and should be deleted from the game but 4 player premades were fine and if a team is struggling against a random 4 player premade it’s more probably a skill issue than a premade issue that’s just my point. Also killing ppl actually make the obj easier but ppl don’t seem to realize that because most of them are bad even at dealing dmg. How many times did I see 3 players struggling to kill 1 player (not even a good one). I think that’s the real problem. If ppl where decent enough maybe objectives would be fun. But if objectives is about typing help to get globalled 1v1 I’ll pass and stick to actually PvPing which means fighting other players. That’s the way I have fun, me and a lot of people. If most players who gets evolved enough in PvP to be good doesn’t care about obj there’s probably a reason. Also bringing back ranked for arena and wz is absolutely the solution but they’ll probably never do it

  12. You don't have any clue of what you are talking about don't you. Before I start I'm playing PvP solo most of the time so don't use the premade argument against me. Ok let's start, ,first of all even if there is an elo system I hardly doubt it's only based on just winrate in WZ otherwise I wouldn't get trash teams and matches against premades every time there's one in Q. Don't you know how the matchmaking algorithm works? There's a list of priorities, and every time a priority can't be met, it gets overridden by the next priority. But this king of algo can only works well if the player base in q is sufficient wich isn't the case in SWTOR. The lack of ppl in Q result in a lot of overridden priorities wich is called "backfill" that's why the matchmaking seems rigged. Also even if I agree with the fact that premades should be 4 players max, premades have never been an issue until now, except for a few TOP ranked teams that came with a healer and tank. Now its start to bother ppl because balancing is trash and the large majority of players are really bad because a lot of new players tried pvp because of the pvp season and a lot of experienced player quit the game and can't carry them against premades anymore (even bad ones). And last thing premades doesn't only care about winning arenas otherwise they would only be in arena Q. Also about player not playing objectives and farming kills I'll ask you a question: why shouldn't I be forced to play objectives ? I'm playing this game for a long time now and I've done the objectives hundreds of times and I can affirm that they are very boring to me. I'm playing PvP because I love to confront and fight other players. Objectives don't encourage getting in fights the way players are doing it and most of the time you'l just do a marathon all over the map just to cap points. Objectives are boring in their design but also because most players are very bad at it and can't even defend a point 3v1 so why you I waste my time doing something that bored me to see my team losing anyway. When I'm Qing PvP I expect to fight other players for 15min straight and not afk to a pylone just to get a win. Also there's not rewards for winning anyway. And don't use the "go in arena" argument this is the same problem on a lot of classes arena aren't fun because half of your team get globalled every round. You want to play objectives good for you I'll kill the enemy team for you wich actually makes your job easier. Sometimes ppl seems to forget what PvP stands for.
  13. That's really not how you should play rage jugg in pvp. First of all don't take enrage spam, take the enrage purge with double domination buff because you'll get root, slow kitted during your enrage window anyway. And even if you play with enrage spam, spamming furious strike does way more dmg that the roation you gave.
  14. How sniper worked in 10 years ago has absolutely nothing to do with 7.0 class balancing so this is irrelevent. Also irrelevent they shouldn't balance based on open world content but based on endgame content and marksman is a trash spec in PvE and PvP. "one of the tougher rotation to learn" mm and viru are one of the most easy spec in the game. There's nothing such as "starting your rotation over" It's only for people who have no clue how the spec works, even for engi. Saying that they are balancing sniper around PvP is such a stupid statement. In 7.0 sniper had no more heals no more evasion except for its 3s counterpart and no more control (because you'll never take stun over pw or ballistic shield). Basically the only natural dcd's for sniper in 7.0 was shield probe and roll. The only changed thay made from now is to bring back cover offheals (its buffed version) that's all. What about engi and T0-R0 tactical haven't any nerf about it and the current state of marksman haven't any buff either (also this is not only for PvP). They don't even have the knowledge and skills to balance based on PvP or endgame PvE. There's tens of solid propositions made by skilled players for sniper balancing but devs are just not involved anymore and that's the real reason why sniper might not get buffed and not what you said.
  15. I don't know what pve your playing but all the boss in swtor are immune to stuns so there there is no mechanics that require a stun (maybe in some flashpoint on adds idk). In pvp stun is maybe fun but it not worth it. You should take endless rage or mad dash instead.
