If you're looking for hardcore raiding you've come to the wrong server/game, The raiding community in this game has been gutted with each new expac. Your best bet at this point is either the guild Failure, or any of the others one recruiting on Slands or Harby.

Ok m8 looking at your parse i can see whats going on. For starters you are opening with the wrong ability. you should be opening like this Crushing darkness>affliction>Polarity shift+reclklessness+adrenal> thundering blast>Lightning flash>chain lightning>lightning bolt>lightning bolt> thundering blast etc. basic rule is to never delay thundering blast. everything else is priority. Another thing i noticed is your apm is way low for lightning your apm should be around 48-50 actions per minute in lightning. So i would start by looking at some guides or some other material to get the rotation down. here is my parse from my 3.0 Lightning sorc http://parsely.io/parser/view/61067/0

First off as a dps your ONE CORE JOB is to do damage. if you are not performing those duties you are essentially useless to your group. Yes there are things you can do as a dps to mitigate damage, and have more utility for you r group but your role is DPS for a reason.

back in 3.0 having the old DM/DF set bonus was BIS to add an extra alacrity boost to your moves. You should consider adding some alacirty to your gear im sure you will see some speed increases.

If you post a parse we can analyze more in depth the fight. but from what i can guess you are probably losing apm and up-time on the boss between killing adds and running to hide behind rocks. there are some tricks you can use in this fight to get some more uptime on the boss like peeking from behind rocks to to insta casts, and making sure your affliction stays on boss at ALL TIMES

Or maybe Bioware can decide to balance PvP and PvE separately.

Some fights you have to be pulling at least 5500, some of the tighter ones 5800 ina short amount of time

its do able on sorc in HM, NIM i cleared on my PT. i honestly don't think a sorc can meet any tight dps checks anymore IMO. i hate to say it cuz i loved my sorc.
