  1. I completely agree with everything everyone's said in this thread so far. We need more non-CM decorations of and more variety in them. I'm doing fine even without these changes, but that's only because I've been playing since before the release of Galactic Strongholds. I want the newer players to have as much a chance as me, and giving us all better access to Cartel Certificates couldn't hurt. Please make these changes Bioware, for the sake of your newer players. -Hylia Alexandria Stone(That's my real name, no idea why I used "StarChanneller" as my account name)
  2. I couldn't agree more. And I also wish people would stop hating on the more recent expansions. I'm actually loving KotFE and SoR was fantastic IMO. Why are people hating on them?
  3. Take some of the flamers in this thread with a grain of salt. They have some valid points but they're also being rather rude about it. However, it's not so black and white. I like KotFE, and there are plenty of things you're doing right, and the June releases make a lot of sense. Personally I'm pretty happy with the current state of the game, even if it can be rather tedious to get certain decos or other Cartel Pack Items. I do hope we get a Manaan Stronghold though, I've so many ideas for it. And while it is rather unlikely non-static skies with day/night cycles would greatly improve immersion, perhaps as a toggleable feature. I also wish I could take my ship to observe some of space's many beautiful features, such as orbiting a white dwarf or a blue giant with a black hole beside it, but I know that won't happen and I'm fine with that. SWTOR is a great game, and while it may not be perfect, I still very much enjoy it and am grateful for what we have in this game. I hope it has a long and prosperous future full of many more strongholds, planets, and adventures for us to experience.
  4. If they forced me to fight the Empire again it would be tantamount to killing me. I would leave SWTOR before I'd try and divide the Galaxy further. I do agree that more replayability would be a welcome change, such as some more side missions based on one's class, but I don't really mind the way things are right now. My characters from both factions and the KotFE characters are so close, it would be heartbreaking if they were forced to become enemies once again.
  5. It does sound like a good idea, I'd rather it be a Felusia Statio or Prefab item though.
  6. I wouldn't be surprised if Theeko was an EA representative. Also, we wouldn't be having this argument if EA didn't make the economy so terrible from the very release of Strongholds!
  7. What people should admire is the decorating skill of the owner, NOT the rarity of the decorations. My suggestion: Anything that makes the SWTOR economy less brutal and gives newer and more casual decorators a chance to go all out on their Strongholds. I am open to ANYTHING that properly accomplishes that goal. I don't care if it devalues some of my older decorations such as my Cyan Crystals or my commemorative statues or my old Banners. All I care about is decorators being able to enjoy the experience.
  8. I bought some of the first hypercrates, have some decorations that in this era are extremely rare and my ownership of which is an incredible achievement, and have bought multiple of plenty of these decorations. But I would GLADLY have all my decorations lose all their value and become absolutely WORTHLESS to make decorating more enjoyable for everyone and make decorations from older Cartel Packs easier to obtain.
  9. I had been saving 45 Green Life Day Holo-Trees for like a year in the hopes of selling them on the GTN when they were worth something! D: I can't even unlock them all for myself now that they're bound because I already have 10! Also, I REALLY wish I could still get that Makeb Gazebo, I REALLY wish I could get it.
  10. They do indeed put effort into some parts of the game, but(and this is most likely EA's fault) some parts of the game are really lacking. *Cough cough* Making the economy in regards to decorations so terrible *Cough cough*
  11. I feel the same way. A Day/Night cycle in SHs would be amazing!
  12. I would also have to repurchase the other rooms though right? Or.... is that not the case? If I just need to spend 5k to get Coruscant back then that's not too bad, but if I have to repurchase everything.... I might wanna wait.
  13. I don't know whether or not I should invest in repurchasing Coruscant. I was already planning to ditch my Kaas one as soon as something new came out that I could replace it with. But if no new Strongholds will come out, I may as well get to decorating Strongholds on the Capital Worlds.
  14. If you're on Begeren Colony, I'll take your spares Jk, but I do think Imma start getting serious about SWTOR again to get dat Hot Tub deco. It would be PERFECT for a certain location on Yavin 4. Still not happy with the way SWTOR is being run tho >.>
  15. What game are those images from? It's really pretty. I think I want to go to Dantooine now.
  16. I couldn't agree more! This is why I keep burning out of SWTOR. Getting the decorations and stuff is utter ********. I've been around since before the release of GSF and I dedicated so much effort to this game and I STILL can't properly decorate my Strongholds because EA is forcing this shameless money-grabbing ******** down our throats. Don't get me wrong, SWTOR is a good game, but EA has forced soooooo much corruption into these aspects of the game and it pisses me off. EA if you don't care about decency, then at least do it for the money because PEOPLE WOULD INVEST MORE MONEY IN SWTOR IF YOU DIDN'T DO THIS GREEDY ********! And stop letting Bioware take the heat for all this **** you force upon SWTOR! Sorry about being rude but the people have spoken time and time again about this. We don't care about our old Cartel Items losing value, we want Strongholds to be possible to decorate for people who don't invest like $5000 a month in your game. Now good day! >.>
  17. Once again, I would really love to see these arrangements added. It would benefit EA and Bioware AND the players. It's a win-win!
