  1. so i took a screenshot, the enemy team was scoring instantly by passing to a mercenary that was very far from our goal line. https://imgur.com/3NpDv8Q we were winning 4x2 with like 1 min left, then they scored 3x, last thing i saw was the pass.

Concentration/fury has a 6 sec huge slow each 16 sec, 2 immobilizes/gap closers on short cooldown (force jump/zealous jump), complete CC immunity 6 sec each 30 seconds, very nice defense from concentrated slash...... Why not give force melt a natural slow like 30% for its duration, it won't change a damm thing in PvE, as operation bosses will obviously be immune to it? Maybe remove the 6 second cc immunity from force exhaustion and make it baseline of sentinel through some other skill, each 30 seconds, obviously won't work for PvE so whats the problem? Concentration/Fury is already very strong by its dps/burst capability, so it will still be top tier. With those changes, people would be able to use carnage and annihilation more viably for pvp, as it stands now, people will kite a lot and cc you a lot, which makes stacking all the dots in a 9 second window pretty much impossible.
  3. i kinda agree, but we would need huge incentives to play team ranked otherwise might as well delete ranked entirely (and maybe make all pvp ranked (lvl 75/max level that is)? LOL)
  4. so i tried playing ranked, and so far im really disappointed with the ammount of ppl who play it, i thought "hey server mergers, steam release, ppl coming back, streamers saying its good, lets go play it! i bet hundreds of ppl will be doing pvp all the time, specially ranked!" nope, literally 8-10 ppl playing ranked at all times. its always the same *********** faces so, sometimes (most of the times...) you already know if you are going to win or lose, because you already know each player skill level and such... thats a slippery slope because ppl will just add the bad players to their friends list and if they are on, they won't play because they are too afraid to lose their precious rank. and so, ranked dies for the day. this game needs huge incentives to play ranked, so now i totally agree with these augs, in fact, make new gear ratings only avaiable trough ranked, **** it, make those casuals sweat and learn. And if the "pros" keep being too toxic, *********** mute them for days or straight up ban for months. idfc

I agree with the idea, people should engage in both PvP and PvE, although the costs for those new augments should easily be 1/10 of the current design you have in mind, as in, each character requires 14 augments and most subscribers who do both pvp and pve have over 8 characters (all advanced classes)...... that would take months to complete. With that said, i don't think gating the best gear in the game behind such a nightmare of this top end grind is good because it will BENEFIT firstly and foremost the already TOP players, which will farm lots of it while the average and bad players will have to struggle or play the economy/GTN (which can be boring for most people, i guess). .. and thats coming from a player who is plenty capable of being into that 1% in both PvE and PvP; not trying to flext, just inb4 someone comes to say im being biased because im bad . If you want to do something like this, it will have to be readily avaiable, somehow, for the new players, or it will be all rage and you will lose playerbase, i.e the rewards should be avaiable in non ranked pvp, so people can play that (which is far more newbie-friendly) THEN if they like it, they can play Ranked... Because obviously the pve players coming into pvp will get destroyed and become VERY FRUSTRATED... which can't be said about PvP players going to PvE, since being good at PvP makes you much a better raider than the average player (i say that based on my experience with multiple, dozens of pvpers who always do good in pve as well, even better than pve focused players in some cases).

Is very underwhelming, lasting 1.5 seconds, really? even with zen and a lot of alacrity you cant even combo someone with blast + dispatch while the debuff is up............... if it was at least 3 or 4 seconds then it would be usable. Imo if this buffed/change happened to this skill, it would be very usable for pvp, as it stands now, its the weakest discipline for sentinel (im main sent/rauder, have multiple of them).
  7. LoL what? xD Dude, some people don't care about roleplay, specially because doing it is not rewarding through the game mechanics. And yeah, i hit esc and chose the option that give more influence 90% of the time, it's one of the things that helped me quit this game again actually ^_^ Hope its better when i return in 3 or more months (or i will just play this with the 7 days bonus and leave again*).
  8. Since we still can't chose how to roleplay our characters in convos (if we want the extra influence points), make it so that we can see which ones to take with a toggle option in the configuration panel, same way we can see which options will be dark/light side/force persuade/similar ones.
  9. awesome post 10/10. haha nerf sorc basic 10% defense to 5, increase force cost on their defensives (put a fp cost on phase walk, one of the most op PVP abilities in this game has a 45 sec CD and 0 resource cost hahaha), remove the auto cast proc on that aoe heal, anything else i missed?

Edit: I will come to this forums to say "get rekt" to the healer sorc/sage fotm fanbase defending their own class when they get nerfed, if they don't, well, i just bought ESO and it's a way better game, without even a subscription time. Will do it everyday and quote this post while doing it. ;p
  11. I can kick any of these "i can kill healers (sages?!)" dps assess 1v1 on my sentinel, any day, any time, so i can say, it's a l2p issue. Edit: I can also kill those healers (the problem in this game is: how long it takes; also the peels for the sorc/sage, if you don't have the same, they will always outlive), but i don't come here saying that they are not overpowered, because that is the real l2p issue here and is borderline retarded.

Well, if i turn starparse on i'm pretty sure my dps is around that if i'm only atacking with some nice support, without having to kite and quickly pick health nodes, cap objectives, etc, while in middle of the fight. It's just not how it usually happens in TEH, people like to cover the map a lot instead of simply pushing their numbers on long fights. btw i've not seen a regular with much more than 3k dps (game's numbers, not parse), taking into consideration that i've probably played against every active/serious player in the server at least 1x..... maybe you should come to TEH and pwn everyone if you are so good =D
  14. haha Also, the OP's argument before this was really elistist and meritocratic..... being ranked or good in the past doesn't mean much, specially without cross server... The guy was better than what, 50 other tanks who were actually trying to make the top? Not saying it was bad, just noting that this flawed argument is not even that good for matching it's own principle.
  15. It could be on par with snipers for short/smaller bursts of time (when popping their offensive cds), after all they still are meele. A 10~15% surge passive skill for the punch/knife, blood boiler, bludgeon and the dot of backblast wouldn't be OP.

Nice idea, but i gues i'm used to using my left hand to strafe and use like 2 other buttons for hotkeys all at once, only sucks when the target is running very fast trying to los, that i can solve with bursts of APM (which burns my focus/mental energy but its the best part of gaming anyway... sometimes i sweat even in cold days)..... I've just counted 35 hotkeys just for the hotkeys part, then the targetting stuff; all my mouse buttons are used, i can't even have TS push to talk. LMAO yup, bioware should watch the overstacking of hotkeys in this game for some specs. Scoundrel, sniper and shadow are the kings and they are not even the best classes, losing to the class with smallest ammount of skills/hotkeys when it comes to dps/tanking, PT/VG obviously.

This, on another threads i've stated how 50% damage absorption (plus 5% all damage reduction, which i bet is applied first), applied in a 100% passive way that can't be removed, other than breaking the 15 m range* will lead to broken classes getting even more broken in PvP. That allied with the fact that, for example, in one of the few ranked matches that happened on my server (yolos, TEH) a juggernaut dps geared tank did around 75% of the total damage of the top dpses, which were all very near (he did 1.1kk, i did 1.5 with anihilation and my fellow 1.55 with madness). He only didn't outheal us because the other team had a bad tank and so their dps was low, because otherwise his focused defense would have done it. Therefore, i'm making a jugg tank! FO su, it's what i always dreamed in a mmo, all 3 roles into 1! The tank can heal and dps I'm ok with the dps part, in fact, i love it, reminds me of lineage2 were tanks were very viable for pvp and could solo anyone, specially if they were in a few particular OP patches. But 50% (after 5% reduction) is too big of a number for anything in a competitive game to be balanced, unless it can be easily countered, therefore, for this game, only movement speed buffs/reductions can be this high. *Thought it was 30 m, phew... observation: dear meatbags, don't try to say that the reasoning behind this is "yall were bad dpses" (on both sides of the 4v4) by coincidence, some of the players in that match play this game (N R gud at it) before you even were born**. **jjk yes, they come from another dimension just to teach and then challenge us mortals. and because guard is 50 freaking % of damage transfer + 5%dr... For a guy that says in his signature "dealing over 50% of a guys health..." i don't understand how you can't agree that 50% damage reduction (which would render your "50% of a guys health" to less than 25%, easily manageable by a healer) is not unbalanced and badly designed.
  18. harbinger is the only server with active ranked pvp queues i think, most of the time, but there is no ranking atm, it's pre season 7.
  19. Like Taris, there is some heavy smoke coming out of the ground, some ventilation system obviously, anyway, just had a massive drop from 80 to below 10 (framerate), then stabilized at 20~30. Almost no one around either, it's totally related to smoke, it happens on denova warzone intro scene too, happens on some parts of temple of sacrifice... whelp, anything with lots of smoke. I just noticed i should make a thread about this now, it's been happening since i started to play.
  20. Yes, try to make ppl queue ranked, invite in channel enemies ( /cjoin enemies ) , solo or group, i've seen ppl arrange an ops team and then everyone queued solo togheter. Also keep trying to pvp on regulars, the fun should be in the challenge not in the gear grind, any mmo nowdays has easy gearing, except korean stuff xd Try the ebon hawk or shadowlands for US east coast, harbinger for west coast.
  21. 20 avg, 13 minimum, would have to check again. Used to be like 7 minimum i guess so it's a huge improvement on 3.3 patch performance fixes. phenon black edition II, 6x 3.3 ghz radeon hd 5830 2x4 gigs ram 1.333 mhz 1 tb 7200 rpm HD I try to keep it clean with new thermal paste, also it has a good ventilation and good/silent coolers, cpu temp is around 56ºC and this summer is really hot, the VGA is around 75ºC (damm i might have to clean it again xd). It's from 2011, now i could use someone in the us or another country to buy me a cheap pc, the taxes + dollar conversion will probably destroy me unless something happens =( rofl xd

Hmm, idk, someone would have to give me pretty solid testing to believe that alacrity is that bad, atm it is a very cheap stat that reduces cd (specially good on skills that have a proc offensive or defensive duration, like force sweep for concentration, which means that the damage buffs will be up more constantly, same for precision window). It may look like a reduction to burst but only in dps matches, most matches nowdays require some sustained damage alongside burst and coordination, since healers+tank combo make stuff get slow. That is, without counting the obvious decrease in the delay to use the next hability, better burn on dots, better resource generation... I.e. after 70% surge, crit starts to get really low bonuses, thats when i believe dumping the rest into alacrity, which only gets considerable diminishing returns at what, 600? That is an average of 5 or 6% increase in alacrity, therefore atackspeed and everything else i said. Another thing: BW would have to be pretty dumb by making alacrity be worst than power or anything else for dpses, in all cases even. Imo it's better in all cases, specially because of the DR on crit after 69% surge. Also 4k dps you mean in warzones? nice dummy fight there (dotspread much?), i never get into any matches where i can dps most of the time... anyway i like to strike where enemies are weak and pressure so they have to bring reenforcements, that requires lots of running around, since parsing on healers sometimes is worthless because of the rest of the team dps/coordination. Parsing in the warzone dummy i did 5k though, is that what you meant?
  23. I thought power augments were awful in this patch? same as mastery? You should try removing it all for alacrity, if anyone can confirm it would be better but i strongly believe so, the 208 pvp gear already provides more than enough power and mastery, alacrity and crit multiply their effects, so its much better than the additive effect of power. Btw ap powertech only needs accuracy for the railshot, which he actually uses a lot so, yes good choice.

    Except that i already have been there, done that, specially because i'm a sentinel. And you seriously don't use a dot in your rotation? lmao. Whats the problem? too many hotkeys to keep track of? more than 24 = gg, also only have 5 fingers on the keyboard hand right... I understand.
