  1. Was doing a tech frag run Eternity Vault Story Mode. But it became unplayable when began to fight SOA. When the fight reached the falling platform stage all of the players were stuck in a free fall unable to actually reach the lower platforms. Then when we wiped we were unable to get on to the stage. Held in mid air. Some of us took screen grabs as evidence. A few announced it on fleet. But as of the time of this post Eternity Vault final boss Soa is completely unplayable. Not sure what other old content is now bugged. Also while I am at it there has been a visual bug for trooper spec. Launch a grenade right before a full auto then either your assault cannon disappears, or is fixed on your back. it will shoot bolts from your shoulder or an invisible gun from last position. only returning when you use high impact bolt or demolition round. Bugs can be quirks but when it becomes unplayable then it should be fixed.
  2. I still can not log on to my existing characters. I have invested a lot into my Swtor account over the years. Now my options are to start all over again with new characters or quit the game. Any help from Swtor staff? This "update" has made the game unplayable. If there was any other MMO that made existing characters inaccessible then this would be a problem.
  3. I can only create and play new characters. but my existing characters are not accessible.
  4. I play on Darth Malgus EU realm. Since the update started I am unable to log in to the game. I can only get to the character select screen and the same message comes up. "While you play, the games continue to download. If you finish the starting planet before it completes, you may start a new character and play one of the other 7 class stories. When the download completes, you can access the entire game." The download has been permanently on 99.99% with no sign of changing.
  5. got 2 ideas. First of all Russian traditional dancing watch from 0:08 to 0:50 second and far better idea is The Thriller Dance Watch from 8:29 to 10:38 But for it to work you need to have a Swtor twist on it. That is for Rakghoul to be summoned and dance along side your character. Please put enough of the dance in the emote and not just the iconic arm movements that most people remember from 09:00 to 09:12. Points to defend second idea are as follows. Rakghoul have the potential to use the Force, be trained by force users and a doctor (like with Kaon under seige). not just use force techniques but weapons, strategise and so on, Thus could also be taught this dance move. Your staff showed they can pull something like this off. With the Party Bombs and Disco Ball emotes. The Rakghoul will need to be roughly the same height and size as the character. The overgrown ones like the Rakghoul Behemoth and ones from Rakghoul resurgence wont work. To give Bioware an idea on if people will go for it. Please say Seconded Thriller Dance emote in your post.
  6. Uh huh. Never heard of it until now and not really sure what your on about. Just responding to the initial post and tried showing the reason relationship the Empires citizens has with its Sith. And why so many are still loyal regardless of the fall out of the sadistic and power hungry general crazy Sith. I also tried to portray the mantle of responsibility that not all Sith are able to carry. As naturally others would flock around them.
  7. depends on your point of view. I been schooling a few people on how to make money off GTN. Once you established a character on GTN. Being undercut is not really an issue because you still sell. Once people know they can buy from you at a reasonable price they will keep coming to you. If you get engrossed in the bidding war you kill your profits and wont be able to cover expenses. I would say it more comes down to covering expenses and keep funding production than "making profit" The rip off merchants are a BIG reason why you can make so much money off GTN.
  8. I was joking about the Lightsaber Deathscythe by the way. It would make anyone who uses it out to be some sort of mythological villan. Not to mention turn the game into a running joke. which even loyal fans cant take seriously.
  9. Had a very odd day on my Agent yesterday, on 2 back to back runs on "Red Reaper" flashpoint. Had tanks who refused to tank. First run. Had my agent, another dps agent and bounty hunters for tank and heal. Went okay until the final boss. the healer said the tank should tank the boss near the ramp so wont get knocked off the stage by the bosses knock back. tank said "don't tell me what to do" then sat down in protest and refused to tank. luckily the healer kept me alive as somehow I took the bulk of the aggro. I said either play the game or log off. tank responded "I wont log off just because I refuse to listen to your bad advice" was a bit confused as technically it was the healers advice. We took down the boss without the tank. though the tank decided to join in when boss was down to about a 3rd. Put the tank on the ignore list then kicked him/her when boss went down. Second run. Had my Agent, Dps Juggernaught, Tank and Heal Inquisitors. It went okay until we reached the part where force-field blocks the way unless someone unlocks it with archaeology. Seen very few groups successfully cc the first group at that bit. So went chucked grenade at them and killed the first group. The assassin tank called dps an idiot. Then as we went through the unlocked force-field. Chose to get their own back buy pulling the group, used combat stealth, then the fleet transport to leave the flashpoint, Again I said "either play the game or log off" before tank left the group they said I of always breaking cc, i always pull first and accused me of being free 2 play. Found that odd because during the flashpoint I would mark the targets for cc. then say which one I will cc so someone will cc the other one. It ended with the dps juggernaut tanking the rest of the fp and a marauder joining. I don't understand why people will select a tanks role and refuse to tank or healers role and refuse to heal. Besides trolling it don't make sense.
  10. Hand stand - vertical push ups. Player may take a few hand-steps back and forward to gain their balance. Then do vertical push ups with their nose touching the floor. They either fall over or bend their waist and stand up once their feet touch the ground.
  11. Am surprised no one has come up with a Lightsaber Deathscythe
  12. thanks I think. Though people try to undercut me I still sell. Made just over 50 million creds in the months I been playing Swtor on Diplomacy. If my time is not spent on levelling alts I make about 2 million creds a week.
  13. Darth and Master are titles given to force users that have reached a certain level of skill, power and abilities when using the Light or Dark side of the force.
  14. Interesting. The emotional pain and agony may or may not effect Sith. Reasons being they do not have the conscience and empathy to think about those that suffer because of them. Even if they do anguish over such things. Sith are taught to use such pain to their advantage. For example If they feel guilt over doing something like sacrificing someone they did not want to. Conventional wisdom teaches them to save that pain and or anger. Grow stronger, wiser and more cunning. So you will no longer in a situation where you are left in an Ultimatum. Sometimes there are things that are inconsequential to safeguarding Imperial Interests. Looking beyond the "I am mighty, Look at my power and quake in fear of my shadow" type of Sith. Protecting the people of the Empire is the duty of a Sith. Power plays and betrayals aside. A Siths duty is beyond dealing with the threats to the Empire that like the Jedi and Republic. Sith look after the Empire and its people. Self interest aside. A Sith improves themselves because someone must lead Imperials. Not just through might and power, but vision, wisdom, being calculating, diplomacy and so on. If the people thank you or resent you does not matter. Because the Order and Safety you bring them allows them to live their lives and prosper. For a Leaders true strength is uniting a people. regardless the cause or direction they are led in. Even the more self-centered Sith will realize that they are Lord of nothing if the Empire crumbles.
  15. No Jaessa Willsaam is unique. With affection with Elara Dorne. If you make decisions she disagrees with during some missions. You can reset that mission and make decisions that she will like. To undo loss of affection with companions. Bit long though as companion gifts make up for lost affection.
  16. Adhering to regulations. Looking at her, talents skills. Not her Imperial upbringing. Not mentioning Havoc Squad operations to others maintaining portraying the "top secret" Special Forces image to others. civilians and military alike. If you play with her as a companion, asking for a medic improves affection. Showing empathy towards fatally wounded people. Not sacrificing or endangering civilians. Choosing the Greater good over personal ambition, greed and dark side options. And generally putting the Republic first. Only during the Voss story Arc does "being the nice guy" not automatically score affection with her. When torn between helping broker peace between Voss and Gormak. Or securing Voss allies and looking after Republic Interests. Kudos to the writer, because it shows her character loyalty to her new home in the Republic. I find that Elara is somewhat naive as a soldier. Because if you done everything her way. You end up leaving a lot of loose ends. By sparing threats to the republic because sometimes you lose affection with her if you kill them.
  17. oh. Small galaxy. I logged off soon after so must be another group. :D Besides during the FP I kepts stealthing and running away to heal so I didnt die :D
  18. I was doing Kuat Drive Yards with my Imperial Agent. Because this new Flashpoint is gives a massive amount of Experience Points. I can rapidly level my alts. and advise others that haven't done it that it is basically a fast forward to level 55. So whenever I queue for Kuat Drive Yards I make sure to kill everything. It was on the part when we have to destroy the weapons stocks that the Republic has. So not to be used against the Empire. the people in the group was my agent, 2 inquisitors and a marauder. Anyway. I was accused of trolling. and "pulling every mob in the galaxy" I said I was hear for XP farming. Then when the Inquisitors continued complaining saying "we would like to do this flashpoint some time today" I said "It is your choice to bi tch. I am here to farm XP points" One then said "it is our choice to kick you aswell" I responded "go ahead, I am still going to get my XP points." One of the inquisitors seconded the vote to kick. And I was naturally annoyed because I got kicked for playing the game. Kills+performing tasks = Higher levels. So i just ignored them and logged off for the day.
  19. "Reporting in, sir! Rakghoul stole my helmet sir, scared me white!" - Kaliyo Djannis I chuckled the first time I heard this.
  20. What I do? I just meant that other game features would be overlooked. To put it another way: Vampire's in Swtor could be a gamebreaker.
  21. But to address the title question. Some don't Join the dark side but have always been Dark side and raised in the knowledge of that side of the Force. An example is that the Emperors law states that all force-users be trained as Sith or executed. So force sensitives born in Imperial space or on Empire controlled Worlds will come to be trained in the Dark Side. Usually when the individual comes to the Jedi does their training in the Light begin. However they may be the "cost of admission" because Jedi don't always train every force sensitive they come across. Why people join the Dark Side? Simply comes down to the path that individual takes.
  22. True because outcomes of fights between Jedi and Sith may just come down to one of them being stronger (or getting lucky) and not that Light or Dark of the the Force.
  23. Fascinating. Even though the Ancestors of Sith are the Dark Jedi that lost the first Jedi civil war. The "First Sith" are their off-spring conceived through Alchemy and other means. Jedi and Sith have extensive (but not complete) knowledge of the Light / Dark side of the Force. Dark Jedi or Light Sith may come to the opposite organization for training in the Light or Dark Side of the Force. Regardless how they are received the individual can be deemed a weak or strong force user. Depending on if their training in the Light/Dark side of the Force is complete. And though may be exposed to Jedi or Sith teachings, techniques and ideology. The individual may imitate these but not fully incorporate thus remaining a Jedi or Sith That is why anomaly such as Revan can only make the "claim" of being both Jedi and Sith. But in reality is just a powerful Force user able to call upon the Dark/Light side of the Force. And was altered by Sith life manipulation techniques to extend his life span. Another difference between Jedi and Sith. Is that there have never been a Jedi Species, But once the Sith Species thrived. With the Sith that are not Purebloods. The Sith way of life, which is more than just philosophy still permeates the individual. This is why you have many 'Would be' Sith and or Jedi that may have passed their trials but are not yet Jedi / Sith. To address the last paragraph of your post. Though users of the Light side of the Force can challenge the powers of Dark Siders and vice versa. It is still possible for Dark Jedi to challenge Sith and Light Sith to challenge Jedi. The outcome of such confrontations coming down to the differences between them. Some of which are their skills with lightsabers or knowledge of the force and experiences. Considering both Jedi and Sith possess knowledge, artifacts, holocrons and so on of the opposite force. It is entirely possible for individuals to learn, develop and use both Jedi/Sith techniques. But that does not make them Jedi/Sith An example of this is Mace Windu's Vapaad fighting style that in short channels the dark side of the force. But to use the Dark Siders powers against them and not fall to the Dark Side himself.
  24. hahahahaha That is because your darkside Sage is STILL a Jedi. Force Lighting is a technique of the dark side of the Force that Sith specialize in and now well. :D In short, your powers of the dark side cant match that of a Sorcerer :D be they light or dark.
  25. Jedi take it very personally when errors are made in training. "We take responsibility, Atris, not cast blame." Lorna Vash So Padawans that go super dark side would cause the council to rethink or restructure how they train current and future padawans A Sith would still see a Jedi. Regardless if they draw from the Light or Darkside of the Force. "Your kind either falls to the Dark side or to a Sith's Might" - umm Sith Warrior Swtor.
