i have a feeling they will be introducing a wardrobe system similar to LOTRO (at least i pray they do). if you are not familiar, basically you have one 'paper doll' of armor that is your displayed social armor, and another paper doll for your optimized gear. the social is the one you see but its stats dont matter, so if you want to use social gear for looks it doesnt matter what kind of armor it is and by making it all light it allows all classes to wear it. /speculation

i want an arena. and i dont care about lewt or gear or phat titles or silly efffing mounts. i just want to play arena so you are wrong. also, duel is not a valid option. please explain how i can duel a player of the opposite faction? NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE. even if you get into a duel on ilum, people will just come over and interupt it. DUELS ARE NOT AN OPTION. arenas dont HAVE to be for gear. stop assuming that everything done in this game HAS to mirror wow. failures.

cause they suck at pvp. and think that the only way to implement it is to copy exactly what wow did. they fail to realize that they do not HAVE to copy wow. i know its hard to understand.

well... i actually got decent responses to the 2 newest bug reports i filed. they actually acknowledged the issue i was reporting, and stated whether or not it was being worked on and said they would forward to relevant department. so i dunno if i just got a better employee or if bioware is trying to up their standards across the board. in any case, i was satisfied with the response to my latest bug reports. i hope it continues.

you can get expertise before you hit 50. just have to know what youre doing.

lmao my buddy was doin that all day. ppl were gettin mad and callin him a "twinker" but really, if you do it right, you can have 6 champion bags the instant you hit 50, and 8 more after completing your first set of daily/weeklys. out of 14 champ bags that you can obtain in 1 day if you really try, its not so bad to turn 50

i love the hate. for your informations: not a virgin, though im certainly no rico sauve. i was unemployed when the game was released so yes i did get plenty of time to play. and most of all, this post was meant to rub it in the face of another player that was absolutely certain they would reach bm before me and would talk trash to me. they were ahead of me until 64 where i took over and got my bm first. but i really think its funny the people that posted how they dont care yet they clicked on the thread, and then took the time out of their busy day to post a reply about how much they dont care. as my long time friend used to say: "IF YOU DIDNT LIKE IT, YOU WOULDNT BE COMMENTING"

take away north and south assault points, reduce the size of the map with their deletion. bases and central only. lock the joining of an instance to a certain number +more players than the other team. example, if there are 10 imps and 8 repubs you cant join that instance as an imp until another repub does. in this case the number is +2.

why should you be able to to this? the only case where you should be able to do this is if the player you want to backstab is attacking someone else other than you. i have never seen a game that allows backstab when an opponent is focused/targeting you, unless you stun/knockdown etc.

lmao. i love it. but really the guy above me is right, they would probably rather u dealt with them the same as a male. winning cause people feel bad about beating them is not a very rewarding win. that being said. i just love to force choke female toons. the pathetic sound they make as they try to gasp for air... priceless.

i started my main character during the pre-launch phase, and leveled him up through both pvp and pve, and like your merc he is now very well geared for warzones and has a bunch of expertise. i went to a different server and started an alt, and leveled him up to 50. he is very poorly geared for a pvp 50. as my teammates like to point out. of course these are the same teammates that will sit there with 4 people defending the ONE turret that our team controls and cry about why the other 4 players cant cap a point. it is certainly harder without the expertise, but its not impossible. i frequently can 1v1 kill someone with better gear if i just play smarter. in any case, forget about 1v1... in the objectives wz's its all about team play. i would take a team full of smart players that coordinate and know what they are doing over a bunch of super geared rambos that run off like heroes any day. fyi, my main is a juggernaut and does AWESOME in pvp, even before his now 688 expertise. my alt is a vanguard and certainly lacks power due to lower expertise, but is still better than most of the bad players out there

i will never play wow or any other blizzard game. that being said, i have seen some of the wow arena fights, and it does look like fun. if only it wasnt wrapped in a silly cartoonish stupid fantasy setting. i dont know something cool like with lightsabers or something. wait, thats this game. cool.

yes, because no one would want to play the game that 1.7 million people have already paid to play. which would be the exact same game with a new addition on top of it. I CAN SEE YOUR LOGIC ON HOW THIS WOULD KILL THE GAME. SEEING AS HOW A PLAYER COULD DO AND PLAY EXACTLY THE SAME GAME AFTER THE ARENA WAS INTRODUCED AS THEY WERE ABLE TO PLAY BEFORE THE ARENA CAME IN IF THEY SIMPLY NEVER JOINED THE ARENA. yeah those 1.7 million people would all of a sudden realize the game was total **** and not worth playing because the developers created something many players do want. think. then post.

those planet sized areas suck, have no good pvp going on other than severely 1 sided ganking, and uhhhhhh oh yes of course the mass group kill trading for nothing other than to complete a quest for the rewards and not for actual fun pvp. you sir, fail hard.

i dont want to play an mmo with people that MUST have a game developer tailor to the lowest common denominator. and by that i mean to the people who will cry so hard at a game addition that they are not forced to play that it drives them crazy and to quit the game. seriously, i say ignore every opinion that is simply a "no". if you dont want the ADDITION, dont comment and support it. i cant even read your post, but i think you're saying that the arena is a bad idea because.... you have some sort of assumption that it will come with better gear than other pvp? how about they just... NOT... do that. so hard.
