  1. Yeah to be honest i dont think ill run thru the whole thing again, just finished the chapters on my bh and when i get to the choose character screen i really, really dont want to login with him and run more heroics. Now im just working on the 3 classes i still have to finish and then ill see,but yeah i agree with everything you guys said, its just atleast for me an oversaturation of heroics plus the fact of getting more companions which will remain in a limbo since im using my Akk for normal stuff. Seems Bioware has lost its compass...or maybe they got something planned that we dont know about *shrug*
  2. Is it just me or the whole grinding missions just to get companions is a bit...ehhm bland? I mean the items from the turnins arent really that good, presents and gear that really i wont be using since the RNG is all over the place and i get a lot of gear that doesnt match my class. Its just that we already got more than enough companions,is there something else im missing? because apart from the companions (which i dont need) and the extra marks (yeah yeah to get better gear) is there something else that makes all this grinding worthwhile?
  3. Thanks for the info guys, much apreciated...was feeling kinda overwhelmed with all the content in that area hehe
  4. So i just hit 65 and ive been doing all the chapters of KotFE,so far im at chapter 8 or 9 i think, not sure. Im in the cantina area and i saw a terminal which gives acess to a lot of different heroics from different planets so i choose all from a random planet and it seems i get marks and then these purple boxes i turn in for rep?¿ with each of the 4 npcs over in the area below the cantina (Hutt, military guy, smuggler and force sensite woman). When i turn those in i get two items from a box i need to open, one is a random piece of adaptive gear and the other is a present for companions. Should i be doing this to get my character geared up? best gear ive seen in the vendors in that map is 208,for now i just want to get decent gear so i can run heroic fp's once in a while. Is there any other purpose to getting rep with the 4 different npcs besides the marks? is there any rep vendor that offers cosmetic stuff like mounts, pets, etce, etc? Tried looking for a guide of some sort in google but havent found any, would apreciate if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks
  5. ¡ wow....18 letters in caps, your eyes/ears ok? Yeah i used caps because those few words were important, heart is ok dont worry about me,im fine although the condescending tone you're using with me isnt, but hey go ahead and rail on me with your witty humour, you actually remind me of this: Time 2:57,enjoy.
  6. Beh...could care less, just another naysayer (Doom and Gloom) that has way to much free time to be messing around with guild number statistics and so on,seriously when was the last time you logged in and just had fun?
  7. Harsh? maybe, but well deserved, this person hasnt been appointed by anyone,he doesnt speak in anyones behalf nor has he contacted EVERY PLAYER that plays the game to find out their thoughts on the current state of the game so hence me saying his "WE" is BS,its a ME with a cherry on top.
  8. So basically you saying its ok to stalk just because you tracking metric numbers? Yeah try that with the cops....no sir i wasnt stalking, just using high powered binoculars because i really care and tthis tools give me a better view. Attentive to guild numbers? ah how cute we have a little Dustin Hoffman card counting character in our midsts...
  9. And you think this entitles you to something? To quote Ash: "Well hello Mister Fancypants. Well, I've got news for you pal, you ain't leadin' but two things right now: Jack and ****, and Jack left town."
  10. Who is this "we" you speak of? Cant be me,or it cant be the 200 guild members we have in my guild because oh would you look at that NONE of us pvp so i guess that proverbial "we" you use so much its just a ME right? ^^^Nothing to see here folks, another MENOW throwing a tantrum. P.S:MENOW=Current generation of whinny cry baby gamers that crave instant gratification,i call them Menows, because its all about ME ME ME and NOW NOW NOW
  11. Wow....so you basically play a game where your role is of a stalker? Yeah sure not creepy at all...
  12. Well thought and written post. Now one thing we are not discussing is the huge difference between sandbox mmos and theme park mmos,i tend to compare this difference using Legos....now now hear me out because i think this will get my point across. Now its almost impossible to find legos that are just that, the blocks, the rest depends on you,you must build whatever you want, you have no designs,no instructions....nothing,now this was when i was a kid (born in 75). These days all you get is your IP based Legos like Star Wars and you just make a ship or any type of vehicule. There is no way to "spark" your imagination and do whatever you want, just a static set of pieces and wam bab thank you maam you're all set.Have your ship or vehicule but really just followed some instructions and never deviated of the marked path. This can all be applied to theme park mmos, there is no choice (apart from class and role) so you're basically Dorethy following the yellow brick road. Swg wasnt perfect but it gave you the choice to level whichever way you wanted, you could just be a dedicated crafter and open a shop, you could rp as a smuggler and slice armour and weapons and the list goes on and on,this is what i miss. Just recently came back after a long break...well mostly because the new Star Wars movie is coming out and i just wanted to get back into the "feeling" of playing in a Star Wars based game and yes im having fun for now but i still have that thought in the back of brain that im just following a "tour" and basically there isnt anything for me to do about it,walk the same road as everyone else, same progression scheme that has plagued mmos these past years. Level up,reach cap,run normal dungeons/flahspoints then heroic dungeons/flashpoints and then if you into it you raid....thats it there is no bucket of gold at the end of the rainbow. Beh who knows *shrug* maybe all this wall of text is the ramblings of an old burn out fart who just doesnt enjoy playing mmos anymore. Well anyway thanks for reading. P.S:English isnt my native language so sorry for any misspeling, punctuation or grammar mistakes.
  13. Yeah yeah blabber all you want about the old timers but older i mean much older mmos had a ton of features that would make "new" mmos hide in shame....yes Swtor im looking at you and you're pathetic atempt of a crafting system...look back at Swg with the best craftng system ever and all we get here is a clickfest with no depth whatsoever. MMos have evolved and not for the best, new mmo playing comunity is one the worst i have ever seen, all filled with lazy ***** morons who are all about ME ME ME and NOW NOW NOW hence me coming up with a nickname of them,i call them MENOWS. So you can kid youself all you want but the grind is a major pillar of an mmo, take that away and what do you get? A level 65 player in a fp who doesnt know that he could cc a mob for 60 seconds, yeah ths is what we get. So i welcome tougher content,i welcome comps that arent OP,maybe this way we willl get the players to actually have to play the game, read the skill/power descriptions a actually use them when needed.
